HP 7000 E809a: Paper feed will not be on a HP 7000 E809a

Hello

I raised this matter yesterday and I am only allowed to edit my post once. I struggled for the right terminology and wording to describe my problem.

Essentially, it's just the paper will not feed into. I use paper 8.5 x 11 and there is no problem with the print jobs are sent and received. When the print job is sent, I look inside the tray (with a flashlight) and see the first wheels falling down and rotate. Instead of sending paper to print, the feed wheels just spin on the paper. If I get paper (after judgment of things), I can see the "skid marks" on the paper where the wheels just turned.

I have not found no instructions on opening the case to get to the power supply for cleaning wheels. As a last resort - I have a few grain sandpaper very late on in my shop, I was think to put a piece of that on the paper in the paper tray--maybe it will clean the wheels. The other thing, that I wonder if the feed wheels can be "dried" out, maybe they are in absorbent material that can be rehabilitated.

Anyway, if all else fails, my inventiveness comes out to play - sometimes good and sometimes not. Thanks for any help.

Hey @macbuz52,

Please get back to me regarding this issue of the paper. The error itself is a material error in the printer. The computer detects the problem of paper in the printer through their connection and usually warns you of this error on the computer. However, no amount of troubleshooting on the end of the computer would address such a mistake. Because you have completed all the "on paper" and "paper jam" Troubleshooting nothing helps, it seems that your product has met a hardware failure, from which it cannot recover paper. I look in all potential programming Firmware update or semi full programming resets that may be available for your printer. However, I have found that without these updates are available and not reset these can be completed. The only discount to zero that can be performed on your product is a Power Reset, which you have done in the first step of the first support document I linked to you.

Right now, the next step in the HP support would be to achieve the Technical Support queue by phone about the options for replacement of material components in the path of paper in your product are non-replaceable.

HP Technical Support can be reached at the: 800-474-6836.

If you do not live in the United States / Canada region, please click the link below to get help from your region number.

Worldwide contact HP

When you talk with the Support Agent to phone please inform of all the troubleshooting steps that we have done and the results of these measures so that the Agent can quickly start a deal for you. If you want to continue with the steps of troubleshooting replacement, such as regenerating rubber, can you please let me know if that solves your problem. It is not a step recommended HP and I have not tried this on all products, so I have no idea what kind of result you will get. Because your product is defective, you really have nothing to lose if you want to try other troubleshooting methods.

It has been a pleasure to work with you. I wish you good luck going forward with this!

Removed the tray paper to add paper and now the tray was arrested along with about 3 inches to go and will not close.  I also noticed that the drop-down menu that is located above the status bar was low so I pushed him to the top in place, but the drawer is still not closed.

Problem solved, it was the length of tray setting that had to be closed for paper to letter!

  • OfficeJet 4500 fax problems. Document feeder will not work correctly.

Hello, I hope all are well.

I have a cable for Officejet 4500 all-in-One.  For some reason, he was acting kind of odd.  One of my friends wanted to fax documents.  I turned on the printer waiting to happen to him.  This thing suddenly started printing of old faxes received two weeks earlier.  I've never touched a thing.

When my friend arrived, I went to fax his paperwork.  For some reason any thing would take the first page, however, stop the connection until the other seven would be sent.  I've set up again and it's the same thing with the second page.  A third time brought no action what so ever.  The document feeder would not move even the pages using.  I thought it was because the phone has been off the hook, but it does not solve the problem no more.

The only thing that he would make a rattling noise when moving even not the paperwork through.  I don't really know what to do with this thing.  Help, please.  Thank you.

  • A6 paper feed but not print on CP1515n

Hi - I am trying to print pamphlets on paper A6. I put both the paper type on the program (CorelDraw12) and the printer to A6. The book feeds beautifully--but does not print. I looked to see if I'm not correctly put in the status bar, but can't find anything that tells me nothing to slide the blue sliders on the sides and the front. I rechecked and it prints well on of the A4 paper. Thanks for any help.

    Hello Dika,

I'd like to see what I can do to help, but have a few questions:

    1. what operating system is your computer has on it?

2 have you tried printing on A6 paper with other programs, and if so, what was the result?

    3. what happens when you print a page the printer (see below for the instuctions) diagnosis?

Follow these steps to print a diagnostics page to test the equipment.

    1. On the product control panel, press the OK button to open the menus.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8600 more paper tray will not go

[In the case of a post to repeat it is because I could not tell for sure one was actually published.]

Product name: HP Officejet Pro 8600 more. OS is Windows 7

First of all, I saw many possible solutions in Google search, and many of them related to the HP printers support blogs and none of them have worked for me.

Like so many others, the problem started with my change drawer to manage envilopes. Many worked, but now the drawer don't go all the way - it stops at 9/16 inch short to be completely closed.

I adjusted and readjusted the tray for legal size.

I shook the left and right drawer closing.

I removed all the paper and two sizing medium frame settings.

I checked the track inside and the slider on the status bar and see no obstacles.

I raised and lowered the ramp at the end; It lowers at the beginning of the slide.

By pulling the drawer I found a slight resistance during his visit to the position of 1 inch.

I slipped the paper-stop in and out and it positioned perfectly.

I cycle powered by the printer.

I can't help but think there must be simple somethinbg behind it all. Maybe a bit of lubricant in the mechanism?

    Help, please.

I was right - something simple. Me. It seemed that the ferry was going all the way because of the gap between the drawer and the housing. I thought it was a problem because I have sent to the printer of things would not print. I still don't know why, but it seemed to be a problem with the mechanical - 'print' in applications is dimmed. But now everything seems to be in order. My apologies to those who have spent the time thinking about my 'problem'...

  • OfficeJet Pro 8600 will not feed photo paper. post 'message of paper '.

I went through all the troubleshooting steps. Clean the roller, etc. the printer will be fine plain paper feeding, but not the photo paper. I use new paper, shiny and Matt brand HP. Suggestions? I n ' t had this printer a year yet, but it's out of warranty. I use Picassa with Windows 7

    Hello

I see that you have a problem with the printer print on photo paper. I would first do a hard reset with the printer.

    Hard Reset:

Unplug the power cord from the printer and the wall

    Wait for 30 seconds

Then plug the power cord into the printer, and then on the wall (make sure that you plug into the wall and not a surge protector)

If this does not resolve the problem, I suggest installing a replacement driver. Sometimes the default driver does not trigger the sensors to pick up different than the 8.5x11 paper size.

You can follow this thread Shane and install the drivers from 990c.

    Hi @JimMackie,

Because the printer does not have the paper, I would recommend to try the steps listed in the document below. You can start to "Solution 2: adjust paper settings in the print driver.

  • updated firefox, and now it will not load

I updated firefox last night and now my icon has changed to a blank sheet of paper and will not let me load firefox

Sounds like something went PEAR somewhere along the line. I would suggest relocation like this:

    • Then go to add/remove programs, scroll down to Mozilla Firefox and remove it, choosing to keep your bookmarks, etc., the customizations (don't tick the box).
    • Reboot and delete the folder called Mozilla Firefox at this location: C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
    • Finally, run the downloaded installation file.

After completing the installation, go to the Plugins check page and those if necessary updated.

  • Photosmart 110: 110 Photosmart paper feed

    Hi all

I've had a Photosmart 110 for awhile now, guessing 3 or 4 years, no problems before. Now the paper source will not take the paper in the printer. All the rolls are going through, but do not attract the paper. If I force the paper, it will work, but not like a solution.

After reading the guides and videos, I rebooted printer; fact some paper was flat etc, I tried different paper; clean the rollers (I think that all the rolls, there some in the back, some less where's the book).

Don't know not what else to do, won't pay somewhere, I could buy about a new printer for the same price. I also have a spare set of ink (20 pounds), if I can help it so hated to buy a new printer.

    Any suggestions please?

  • Printer will not feed the paper card stock

We have an Officejet Pro 8600 who will not feed the paper card stock. It was the printer that I used when I worked and did a great job on standard paper, but it won't take my wife stock card paper craft. We used to have a Deskjet F4400 HP all in one and we were able to print. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    John,

Welcome to the Community Forum of HP.

Try indicating what type of media you print to the printer - if your media in the printing preferences settings do not understand "card", you should choose something else which is similar: Matt Brochure, card, 'something' that kind of card stock for the printer to the printer waits 'thick' paper looks.
