HP 7525

It seems that power does not work properly.

When I plug the green light dim, and after a few seconds it will brighten and then stop disabiling my printer.

Any suggestions?

Hello

I suggest you to connect the printer directly to a wall jack (bypass the surge protector / power strip) and then turn on the printer.

  • HP photosmart 7525: hp 7525 unable to connect to web services

I recently bought an Imac, and now I can't get my hp 7525 to analyze correctly. It says unable to connect to web services. I tried to uninstall wirless and re-login.  Help, please!

    Hello

    My apologies for jumping.

To add more, the latest firmware MUST be installed to maintain connectivity of the web services.

Click on the configuration icon and select Tools, then print a printer status report.

Locate the firmware listed, if it is a value lower than ELM1CN1607AR (see "BOLD" kinds) you will be required to update the firmware.

Unfortunately, a Mac OS firmware update utility is not currently available, so you must use a Windows PC to update the printer:

Once obtained the latest firmware, try to use Web Services again and check for the difference.

  • HP photosmart AIO 7525; noisy and too long to print

    HP photosmart AIO 7525

connected to a HP windows 7 64 bit

It is my printer 2nd in 2 months (same model # from the same store).

First, I went back to scratches and that I could not solve the problems of alignment.

This, it is extremely noisy; It takes a minimum of 50 seconds to even begin printing, looks a keurig coffeemaker, and it continues to operate after the print job. Looks like it's lining up or clean the printhead everytime

Initially, it would not connect to web services; but after 2 hours, I got it to work.
In printing a page of a web page, the only thing that printed was clearly the company to the top, the page number, address date and files below. All him rest isn't clear (like the rest) and the characters are shredded and not aligned.

Any help on these questions or I am going back this one too?

    Thank you

    No, it does not.

the update does not apply to my system

    Win 7 64 bit

I think I can just return it too

We bought a new router and when it was installed, I cannot print from my iPhone 5. My phone is set up on the new WiFi router. I guess the signal to the printer is going through the router. I don't really know.

I need help to know how to enable printing from my iPhone.

    Hello

AirPrint is based on Hello (multicast), which should be supported by your router.

Some routers does not support such an and some may need to change the settings of the multicast router work.

Please let me know your router brand and model to understant better capabilities.

So, you can try the HP ePrint app and check if that can allow the addition of the printer by its IP address.

Click on the plus sign while choosing a printer and type its IP address, which can be found by clicking Setup > network > network display the summary on the front of the printer:

  • Photosmart 7525

I have a Photosmart news; connected wireless yesterday.  Unable to connect to Web Services.  Followed directions, but on photosmart screen, can not activate Web Services - is not a code; No email address for printer.  I start to activate the automatic update of the screen of the printer, I say 'yes' to the update, then it error.  EPrint is also not enabled - will not let me activate.  I have Wi - Fi and you can print wireless desktop and laptop but not connection to the Web, so I'm not able to get the "freebies"; coupons, works of art, etc., available on this printer.  Error States "error connecting to server - unable to connect to Web Services.  "Confirm access to the Internet and try again or enter a proxy address"-I even tried who "not good."

Is there maybe something wrong with this new printer and I would come back.  I suck - I bought it for eprint, etc, not a lot of good if I can get to what I want.

    Please help if you can.

    Hi @LaceyNo1,

Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support.   I see that you get a connection error message when you try to install web services for your printer Photosmart 7525.

Please define Manual of the printer an IP address manually and DNS servers. I've included a link to another post which has measurements, including the screenshots of how to do it. Don't worry that the screenshots are for a Photosmart 7510, the steps are the same.

Please let me know the results.

  • HP Photosmart, 7525 how to print photos from iPad to use the main paper tray.

I have pictures of troubled impression of the main plate. He continues to try to use the smallest. Photo tray
I tried selecting the main tray by default and will not work.
With the help of hp photosmart 7525

    Hello

If you use AirPrint, the default setting is to use the photo for the photo tray and the main tray for all other printing. AirPrint allows very little flexibility in this regard.

To increase the flexibility around paper selection and the plateau, you will need to download the HPe-Print application on the app store and use it.

  • USB and wireless printing on PhotoSmart 7525

We recently purchased a printer all-in-one PhotoSmart HP 7525.  I created the printer via a USB cable to a single computer (the main desktop computer).  The printer works perfectly in this way.

We also have a wireless network and other devices on the network to use the HP printer.  However, the main desktop computer doesn't have wireless connectivity, it's why I connected the printer with a USB cable.  I don't want to replace Wireless USB connectivity.  I want to add wireless capabilities, so we have two options available (USB only for the desktop, wireless for iPhones, ipads and other computers on the wireless local area network).  Furthermore, I realize that we need to install the printer drivers on any PC without wire that we want to have access to the PhotoSmart printer.

What I want to do is to leave the main computer set up exactly as it is (USB connection).  I want to put the printer on the wireless network without disturbing this set-up.  What is the best way to add this printer to our network on the main computer wireless capability wireless?

Thanks a lot for your help.

In fact for the specific printer you can do it from the Panel as well.

Follow these steps to connect the printer to the new network by using the Wireless Setup Wizard.

How can I install / set up the scan on the HP Photosmart 7525 function.  I never connected when I bought the printer?

    Hi clipper91,

    Thank you for your answer!

To find out if you have the full feature software and drivers installed, go to Macintosh HD/Applications/Hewlett-Packard, and then double-click the HP Scan icon. If there is not an HP Scan icon, then the software has not been installed.

    I hope this helps!

Photos of color on my computer will not print in color with Photosmart 7525

    Hey @helpdd,

Welcome to the Forum from HP Support.

I understand that you are unable to print color photos using your HP Photosmart 7525 e-all-in-one printer.  I want to help you with this.  I have some suggestions that could restore this functionality for you.

Have your impression I tried a color copy of front panel of your printer?  If she's dating success in color, this seems to indicate your problem is software partner.  In this case, I recommend you check your print settings in Windows - here's how:

    1. In the software you are trying to print from, click file and then click on print. The print dialog box opens.

  • Printers HP 7525: printer 7525 HP black cartridge for first location

I can't find a 'black' for the side cartridge far left slot (not the picture) to my printer without having to buy color cartridges too which I don't need.  HP 564 packaging said it fits the 7525 but it DOES NOT fit in the first place... it's TOO BIG. I bought one for $15, so I know not it does not fit and I've fulfilled my original with refill from Costco for $ 7 and that does not work either!   It shows that the cartridge is empty and he is not.  It's $40 to buy all color cartridges, which includes the small fitting cartridge.  All solutions other than the pit printer and buy a new one and not a HP one?  Someone managed to find the smallest 564 black cartridge that fits the HP 7525?

The cartridge on the left side, the same size as the cartrdiges color, is the Photo, not the black cartridge cartridge.  You can buy it in the store or HP or others online.   The black cartridge is physically larger than the color or Photo cartridges.

564 black cartridge has a Pentagon on the cartridge but a circle on the box...  The Photo cartridge has a butterfly on the cartridge and a camera on the box node.

document here can help.   It is available in standard or Size XL.

BTW, if a cartridge is filled he will continue to show as empty, unless the chip on the cartrdige is replaced or reprogrammed.  I suggest to take back to Costco for a refund, they did half the work.

  • MSI MS-7525 (Boston): upgrade to Windows 10

    Hello

I want to update my PC for Windows 10, but I'm afraid that Win10 does not support my card mother MSI MS-7525 (Boston). So if the upgrade to win10, I get some problems?

    Kind regards.

    MattPallina

I've updated several PC Win7 Win10 - and they had all these problems in one way or another... so I wrote this to provide advice to people considering such update:...

You think about the amount of work that you want to post just to run Win10.  Seriously.  Old machine Win7 tend to come in two flavors when it comes to upgrading Win10 - really easy and really difficult.  I have an older HP DV6 that falls into the second category - as your machine.

To upgrade the really tough machines, you must be willing to do three things:
    (1) do a full image backup of disk external drive or USB stick, capacity
    (2) changes to the reserved system partitioning hard disk recommandΘes mΘthodes,
    (3) uses a very different approach and maybe more than one, to use Windows Update to do the upgrade,

    (4) prepare for a clean install.

1: the backup image.  This is VITAL, because the machine is most likely failure of the upgrade, and when that happens, you will learn that GoBack to Win10 function is NOT reliable, and leaving you with a machine corrupted which will require the factory reset and lose all that on it, to get it working again.

You can avoid this by making an image backup to an external hard drive or a USB drive using Macrium reflect (MR), which provides a FREE version that can be used to image and restore partitions or drives together.

What I recommend is the following:
    (1) download and install Macrium reflect (MR)
    (2) run M. and choose the option: "Create an image of the partition (s) required to backup and restore Windows" to write a full backup to an external drive or USB key
    (3) use the option to create a CD or a USB startup key

NOW, you have the means to restore a full system that works for the external hard drive or USB key in a few minutes.

    2. reserved resizing system: there is a small partition on the HDD with Win7 preinstalled machines known as system reserved.  It is something known as the boot loader code.  There is 100 MB format: all that is necessary for Win7.  But Win10 needs 350 MB and, in some cases, is NOT able to resize it on its own.  IF this happens, you must manually use a partitioning tool to resize it yourself.

    3. using a different approach: Windows Update is easier, but less reliable, how to make the upgrade to Win10.  A much better and more reliable way is to use Microsoft Media creation tool: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/media-creation-tool-install?ocid=ms_wol_win10 choose the upgrade this option now PC.

After all this, you know that MS install drivers with only the most basic features.  Given that HP does not have drivers for your PC Win10, this limited functionality is the best you're going to get.  HP does not actively write new drivers from Win10 for the old PC Win7.  To keep all the features of your PC, your best shot is NOT to upgrade to Win10.

    4. prepare the clean install of: you might end up having to do a clean of Win10 installation if the result of the upgrade is really bad and you are DETERMINE to run Win10 on this PC, in any case.  So, before doing the upgrade, follow these instructions on the community forums Win10 on creating a genuineticket.xml file: http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/23354-clean-install-windows-10-directly-without-having-upgrade-first.html

You need more later to activate your pc Winb10 after the installation of clean.

    Good luck

I'm a volunteer and I do not work for, or represent, HP.
