HP 8620 printing images from Word

Just buying a 8620 new HP printer was a HP Officejet Pro 7590. Both printers were connected via ethernet, and everything has been installed correctly.

Discovered a problem with a Microsoft Word document that I created that contains only graphics. This printed document very well with my old HP printer, but with the new, even if the print preview, said that the provision was okay when I print the graphics were too large for the paper and were cut on the left side of each of them.

After a lot of trial and error, I discovered that I had put my display icon in Windows 7 to 125%. This doesn't seem to be a problem with the previous printer. As soon as I reset the display of the default icon of 100% all-over print very well.

I did not have this problem with any other programs Office seems to just have a problem with Word. Printing text works well with the two settings of the icon.

Don't understand why affecting the 125% desktop icons would print from Word output.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this? I increased the size of the icons as to 100%, they are quite difficult for me to see, that's what happens with age.

I came to the conclusion that the problem I'm having with my printer is a HP software issue.

Maybe it's wishful thinking on my part, but I think that the only hope I have to solve this problem is if a new update is issued for this printer that solves the problem.

I do thank you for trying to resolve this matter and for your quick reply to my messages.

Right now I am cancel my request for help and hope for the best.

6380 into one ask for photo paper when you try to print envelopes from word. If I put the piece of paper in the photo tray is printed on this paper. Does not print the envelope on full text information in the main tray. If the photo tray is empty says photo fill tray. Same program will print envelopes on my printer Hp 6120 is connected to the computer.  6380 has been printing large photo and web pages and copy paper analyses, also has Word correctly printed pages. I guess I will need to replace the older jet desktop printer ink I planed to faze out. So much for the upgrade.

I found that when configure envelope printing in WORD it selects the photo tray for food (with 6380 all-in-one), this causes the alert: photo error empty of the status bar if photo paper is not loaded.   If I select the main tray feed in the printing options when you configure envelpoe print. WORD cautions that it's not the tray THAT Word has chosen for this printer. But it works and I can print my envelopes.

  • Photosmart 5520: Printer Printing slowly from Word

My printer started to print slowly.  I printed a printer status report and comes out at normal - as speed does a test page sent from my PC.

But when I print from Word, it has a little break between each line of prints.  I think the problem is, therefore, with Word, but where do I start to fix?

    see you soon

    Hi @arghhhhhhhhhh,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I see that your HP Photosmart 5520 is slowly printing from Word on Windows 8.1. I'm happy to help you with this printing problem!

For further testing, what happens when you print from Notepad?

By the sounds of it, no doubt looks like the problem is in the word. Have you tried to open a new Word file and copy and paste the content in there? Perhaps a document has been altered somehow.

Another suggestion is to try our HP print and Scan Doctor, to see if there is some driver conflicts.

Thanks for posting and have a great day!

  • Import images from Word

    Hello

When I import a Word file in Dreamweaver CS5 images are not included. Also when I copy and paste, the images are not included.

I know I can export as HTML from Word, but this then includes crass MS HTML, of which a large part is not eliminated by Clean Up Word HTML. I want to clean HTML, and a CSS will be applied, etc. - page formatting is not wanted.

I tried other cleansers HTML without luck - they will strip the href links.

Import images and any other content seems such an obvious requirement, I can't believe that Dreamweaver is not this... If I do something wrong?

    Charles

If you simply copy directly from Word in DW, the image is not met because, as far as html is concerned, it does not exist. Word does not use html tags to reference images, so that you simply copy the text.

For the images to come in DW as well as CD97BX (gibberish text markup language) Word, you must ensure that save you as > Web Page (htm, html). Do NOT save as "Web Page in single file," who will save the file as completely useless Microsoft integrated only.

When you save as 'Page Web (htm, html)' make sure you choose a folder in your Site that is defined as the save location. This will give you the page main .html (wonderfully complex MS included code gobbledeeguk) as well as a folder of images that you can use for your site. It generates as a few others, totally useless files that must be deleted from this folder.

  • How to print from word in Labview

I'm doing some automated tests for printers and I need to be able to print a specific document on the size of 10 points in font Courier. So what would be probably easier is to print directly from Word. I hope that someone has suggestions to do this task. I also have the file to a PDF file as well, but it is only on a specific page in the document. So either print the Word document, print in a font size of 10 points through Labview Courier or print a page of a PDF file. Thanks for any help I can get.

Thanks for all the help I figured it based on what I needed. I found the vi of the report in a location or format plain text that you can choose a font and size and tell Labview to print from the default printer. Thanks again for all the help.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8100 does not print envelopes using Word 2010/Win 7

Hello!  Need help getting my new printer to print envelopes using a 8100 Pro OfficeJet running Word 2010 on Windows 7.

I'm used to using the feature for envelopes within the Word merge but in doing so, it tries to print on the right side of the page, but the trayonly allows you to center the envelopes (and when I tried sliding the envelope on the side, it prints twisted and cut the address as well (as if he doesn't realize that it is an envelope and not a sheet of paper.)  Just trying to print a single envelope, not a 'real' merge and mailing.  I also tried to change the value by default when the envelope prints in this menu, but nothing works.

I tried to move to one side only, retype the address in the area directly (instead of highlighting and have it automatically copy in the box) and has removed and reinstalled the printer driver.

Surely, there must be an easy fix for this.

    Thanks in advance!

None of this has worked.  You need some sort of disconnect between the printer and the word where it won't just simply print the envelope in the Center.

On the good side of things, I tried and am able to print envelopes using Publisher (after their model of envelope a little tweeking).  It is not as smooth as to be able to print directly from Word, but it works.  And will be definitely better than a handwritten envelope or label slapped on it.

Thanks for your help, Spencer. :-)

  • P2055: Duplex from Word

I can't print duplex from Word, even though I can do from the Web. The word Duplex is not available.

    Hello
Please follow the steps below to automatically print double-sided print jobs:

In the file being used to print click the file menu and select print.
NOTE: The print window might be minimized. Press show details to show all available print option.

Click Copies & Pages drop down.

    Select layout from the drop-down.

Set the duplex option as the binding edge (Portrait) Long or short edge (landscape) bond.

You can save the settings for later use by clicking preset > save current settings as preset. By default, a used preset will remain until another preset will be used.

    Kind regards

  • From Word to PDF format without changing the number of pages

When to convert a 320-page document Word 2013 in PDF using Acrobat, the number of jumps to 331 pages, change notes, sections... How to fix? TX

To develop on the response from Michael Kazlow, the problem is not caused by windows, but rather how Microsoft Office applications format their text. The issue is not just with words, but also with any other application Office as well. In addition, it is not a question of if you create the PDF file using the instance of driver Adobe PDF PostScript printer, but on the contrary, when you compose the document while the instance of Adobe PDF PostScript printer driver is the printer by default/current in Word!

These applications format text using fonts that are standard to the current output device resolution. For example, if you view a document in Word and the currently selected printer (usually the default printer selected in Windows when you start Word) is a resolution of 600 dpi device, the document is formatted with a space for each character measured in units of 1/600, an inch. If you change the active printer or print to a printer with a resolution different game, Word reformats the document using fonts based on the new resolution. The resolution is 1/1200 inch in the case of the PDF Adobe PostScript printer, default, driver instance. In general, more text fits on a page with text lines long when a higher resolution is used and less text fits on a page with long lines when using a lower resolution. If your default printer is a high resolution, you can see the resolutions up to 2400 dpi, for example.

Microsoft Office applications are also known to reformat pages based on other parameters such as the printable area.

These questions just do not affect the creation of PDF, but also print on different devices producing different line endings and pagination.

To make matters more things, when either you Save to PDF using the ease of creation of PDF of the Office, or even Save as Adobe PDF using Acrobat PDFMaker Office (part of Acrobat) installation uses yet a different mechanism to reformat the page, as productive at the end line inconsistencies and pagination of what you see on the screen or print directly from Word to a particular device. (We don't know exactly what mechanism Microsoft uses in these cases to cause gaps.)

Office and Adobe users have complained to Microsoft this behavior general for more than 20 years and apparently this isn't any priority to Microsoft to resolve this issue.

  • Printing blank pages when printing from Word 2007, WordPad and Notepad, print well other programs

    Weird printing problem

Good, in Windows Vista and using a printer HP Deskjet 645c with the updated driver, here's the weirdness:

When printing from Word 2007, Wordpad and Notepad, the sheet through the printer appear in print, but no printing actually takes place. Same for the two existing documents and those newly created. On the other hand, everything prints normally IE8, Firefox and Adobe Reader. Reinstalled the printer driver and also to delete the Word data key in the registry. No love. Automated ran, troubleshooting of MS, but still no love because he found no problem. Someone at - it a good idea? Seems there must be something in common between Word, Wordpad and Notepad, which I suppose are at least somewhat in the code, or perhaps in the way they approach the printer driver.

    Hi TNCharlie,

    (1) I want to clarify if you arejust I try to print the text or insertion of objects into Word and WordPad?

Fonts and graphics damaged can cause printing problems in Word/WordPad

    (2) using a wireless printer?

Check to see if it makes a difference if connected.

Step 1: This test in word

    1. open a new blank document in Word.

    2. on the first line of the document, type the following text:

    = Rand (10)

    3. press ENTER. This inserts 10 paragraphs of the sample text.

    4. try to print the document.

    5. If the document prints correctly, replace it with another font or insert a clip art image, a table, or a drawn object

Step 2: Don't know if you have tried this fixit, please run the fixit available in the link below and check if that makes a difference

  • UNABLE to PRINT from WORD on e-all-in-one printer, HP Officejet Pro 8600 - N911a

I have set up my printer. I tried the usb connection and wireless.  I can print via usb for installation of Adobe.  I can't print from Word.  He tells me that it can not detect the printer.  When I go to the selection of the printer in Word, however, it says 'ready' I tried the HP pc doctor.  It shows that everything is configured correctly and that it is able to print a test page.  What I am doing wrong?  I am running Windows 7 (64-bit)

    @KEMODREAMS
Sound as if you have a driver conflict. Try a different driver. I'm you a link to a post that shows how to assign other drivers.
