HP AIO 8610: HP eprint

Can someone send an email to my email address [email protected] eprint to print a document?

Or do need permission?

If so, how do I allow them?

Hello

You have a list that allows to the people to send documents to your e-mail address printer to print setup? Only people who are on the list can send, if ANYONE can send. Do you want this?

At this point, your son can send valid documenst/files to your e-mail address of printer to print. Please set a list as soon as possible.

Notes:

1. valid document/file formats:

Microsoft Word
Microsoft PowerPoint
Microsoft Excel (HP highly recommends that preview you documents in Excel before printing)
Text (.txt) files
PDF
HTML
Images (bmp, jpg, png, gif, tiff)

2. how to configure the list of senders: sign in to your account connected HP, from there select the senders allowed in the tabs at the top, then click on admitted only shippers. Then you simply enter an email address, you want to be able to send to your printer!

Kind regards.

Since you are referring to the connection of your phone and your printer, I wonder if you are, or that he would rather be using HP ePrint app rather than the ePrint enterprise application. I am less familiar with the enterprise application, but it is generally used to connect to a company service or the public provider of printing, rather than to a printer directly over wireless. The HP ePrint app (not the Enterprise version) can be used for printing directly from your phone to a specific printer over wireless (as well as by an advertising service). I can see what's confusing because they all have two 'ePrint' in their name but they are different applications. You are wanting to print directly from your phone to the printer?

    Hello

I try to print using the HP eprint on my Android mobile application. I am able to print using the WiFi on my phone but when on the go, the app will not find the printer. The eprint service works correctly since I can print when sending an email to my address of email eprint even when I travel but the application won't work when the printer of the Internet access. The printer is connected to a cable modem, wireless. Is there a way to print through the Internet using the HP ePrint app?

    Thanks in advance

Well after I asked a few friends with iPhones and Android devices to print over the Internet using the application, I noticed that everyone could.

So, initially, I reset the printer to the factory setting and reconfigured it. It has resolved all the issues I've had both with built in the application to manage as well as my phone. Now I can normally use the HP ePrint app on the internet and printing.

As a side note, I downloaded an update of the firmware to the printer and most probably caused problems, but, as says the resolved all factory reset.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8610: ePrint Internet connection problem on Officejet Pro 8610

I work in a shared office.  I just got my printer & want to set up ePrint.  I got an error message saying that both the computer and the printer must use the same internet network.  But my computer is using my personal Internet & I put the printer to use the network wifi internet.

I would like to take advantage of the options, which allows, ePrint offer?  Both the printer & computer do I have to use the same internet network or can be on different?

Allowing ePrint can be performed on the print directly. To change the settings on ePrint (access authorization, custom, etc. e-mail addresses), you can use any computer with web access, on hpconnected.com. ePrint works exactly like mail, then the computer can be on any network.

The computer needs to be on the same network only when you want to print to it as a network printer.

I can't get the Web Services enabled PC or printer which Scans/Prints fine on the wireless network.

The only advice I can see relates to the 8600.

    Hello GeoffZ,

Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support.  I understand you get a connection error message when you try to activate your printer Officejet 8610 web services.

Please define Manual of the printer an IP address manually and DNS servers by following the steps below.

    1. Please enter the IP address in the address bar of your browser (Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox or Safari).  My screenshots below are Safari, but the location of everything is the same regardless of the browser.  When you enter the printer's IP address in the browser, it must implement the web server integrated for your printer.

    2. Click on the network tab.  You should see the summary of network for your printer. Please click Wireless 802.11 in the menu on the left side.

    3. Please click on "Configure IPv4"

    4. Please click the radial button next to "Manuel IP" then click on the button 'Suggest a manual IP Address'.  The manual, manual IP subnet mask and default gateway of manual must complete for you. Please click the radial "manual DNS Server."  Please enter manual 8.8.8.8 for the preferred DNS server of manual and 8.8.4.4 for auxiliary DNS.  What are the Google public DNS servers.

    5. Please click on 'apply '.  If you get a warning message about changing the IP address please click on 'OK '.
    6. Please turn off the printer by the power button on the printer.  Please wait a minimum of 15 seconds and then turn the printer back on.
    7. Please press the ePrint icon in the lower left corner of the front panel of the printer.  This should encourage you to accept the terms of service.  Please choose "accept."
    8. When you are prompted on the automatic updates, select 'yes '.  The printer should now display the HP logo, while the printer communicates with the HP servers.  Print the information sheet of web services with your printer application code.

Please let me know how it goes.

    Hi Inorb,

I can understand the frustration you must be feeling when the functionality that you're used to using seems to have disappeared.

I did some research on this by using an iPad with the updated HP ePrint version and an iPod where the HP ePrint app had not yet updated. You are right the functionality you are looking for is no longer available in HP ePrint app upgrade.

This feature can be found in HP all-in - One Printer Remote app, formerly order of the HP printer app.  I've included the instructions below:

    (1) once the application is open, please press 'Photos' on the menu bar on the left hand side.

    (2) select the photo that you want to print.  He must now show in the app with "Print preview" shown at the top.

    3) press the train of settings in the upper right corner

    • Under the "paper size" option to choose the paper size you want to print on (majority of cases it's letter)
    • Under the "Image size" option, choose "custom size."
    • Now, with the help of your fingers you can pinch to change the size of the image and the location of the image on the sheet

    4) press 'Print' in the lower right of the application

I've reconfigured my printer to my router.  Any suggestions?

    Hey @LoreeW,

Welcome to the Forum from HP Support. I hope you enjoy your experience here.

I understand that you have a few problems with ePrint using your HP Officejet Pro 8610 e-all-in-one printer.  I want to help you with this.

I recommend that you first check your printer to verify its intact ePrint connection:

    • Touch the icon (webservices)
    • If you see an address @hpeprint.com, I recommend that you try to send a test ePrint from a different email domain than what you use on your work computer.  If it prints correctly, we can rule out your printer as being a factor in this particular issue.  If your printer's Web services is enabled is more, re - enable.  Any problem would occur with this, click here to access another relevant post I created.  Scroll to my suggestion re: setting a manual DNS as this tends to help by allowing the webservices where fail the normal steps.

If you were able to send your printer work ePrint of any e-mail domain other than the one you use at work, read on.  Click here to see an HP ePrint article that focuses on the various factors that can contribute jobs ePrint not printing not.  Note that some areas of corporate email may become incompatible with ePrint due to the presence of a digital signature in the outgoing message template.  EPrint jobs you send work meet these criteria?

Please let me know the result of your troubleshooting by responding to this post.  Thanks again for reaching out in the Forums - we are always happy to help you.  If I helped you to solve the problem and that you liked this post, feel free to give me virtual accessories by clicking on the 'Thumbs Up' icon below.

  • 8.1 WindowsPhone: ePrint WindowsPhone solution?

Is there a true ePrint to WindowsPhone (v8.1) solution?

AiO has been advanced as such, but it is not a real solution for printing (via Internet) on a printer of HP ePrint remote active...  Oh of course, AiO (for WindowsPhone) is ideal for LAN printing (when the phone is connected via WiFi to the same local network as the printer you want), but yet once, this isn't a solution ePrint - because it's not good for remote printing - what ePrint is actually based on the Internet...

And the ePrint to company for WindowsPhoine is no answer either, because it requires a server ePrint, solution to the location of the remote printer of accommodation...

Once again the question: is it a solution for WindowsPhone ePrint simple requirements (as there are for Android, iPhone, etc.)?

    Best regards

    John

    Hi @avjohnnie,

Thanks for posting in the Forum from HP Support.

You raise some excellent points about using on Windows and ePrint tablets smartphones. I would like to advise you on this.

I'm not aware of an application (HP or third party) who will work directly with the technology of printing on a Windows phone or a tablet. That said, there is a way you can simplify the approach to use ePrint with this type of device and operating system.

I recommend that you add the address of your printer [email protected] as contact in any email that you use, or directly to the contacts list of the Windows device. In this way, when you want to print using ePrint, you can create a new message and address it to this contact (your ePrint address). You can print to paste the content in the body of the outgoing message, or by attaching it to the email.

According to documentation HP ePrint, you can print the following types of attachments:

    • Text (.txt) files

  • HP 4500 AIO Envy: Intervention of the required user - Windows 10

    Hello.

I hope you can solve this problem, because it becomes boring and frustrating completely.

I have a HP DV6-6169SL, 10 Windows on a clean install (even you I got exactly the same problem with Windows 8 and 8.1 of Windows AND the Windows 10 after a unpgrade of Windows 8.1), and this (Envy 4500 AIO) printer does not print, constantly popping up a notification that can be translated by "user Intervention required".

The printer is connect using wireless and it's too far for me to use a cable (and I didn't), then the option 'try with a cable' came out. In addition, a PC running Windows 7 to print without any problems on the same network and with the same parameters. I can also print using Ubuntu without any problem, and I can also use my phone with Android using HP ePrint (incredibly slow, but I think it's because the app is not good enough to stream in a quick way). I can also use HP ePrint to send the document by e-mail (is not a solution but I can't specify most of the settings in this way): it is fair to say that the printer works well, the only problem with the driver for windows.

I must say that, for now, the only installed cartridge is a black.

    Any help?

EDIT: I should mention also that I tried to restart the print spooler and I also tried to delete everything in the % temp % without success. I also tried to restart the PC and printer, and just jobs remain in the queue. I also made sure 'use printer offline' is disabled. Just as soon as I press 'print', this message appears and nothing works.

I solved the problem. You must manually enter a new standard Ip address for your printer. 10 Windows automatically creates an address that seems to cause the problem. If you need to get the ip address of your printer, I think that there is a button on your printer that prints all the details. On mine you hold down the green button.

I have an old AIO 4795 and I am trying to print to it from my iPhone6. Software AIO can't find the printer. The iPhone uses the network for email. Printing to the printer Windows 8.1. IPhone allows to print using ePrint, but this is a really awkward interface

Windows and the machines iPhone use wifi for Internet access.

    Any ideas?

AIO will not work with this printer.

As Airprint is not supported by this printer.

It may be awkward, but applying ePrint is the part only option not 3rd for this older printer.
