HP Officejet Pro 8610 webization Service

I can't get the Web Services enabled PC or printer which Scans/Prints fine on the wireless network.

The only advice I can see relates to the 8600.

Hello GeoffZ,

Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support.  I understand you get a connection error message when you try to activate your printer Officejet 8610 web services.

Please define Manual of the printer an IP address manually and DNS servers by following the steps below.

  1. Please enter the IP address in the address bar of your browser (Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox or Safari).  My screenshots below are Safari, but the location of everything is the same regardless of the browser.  When you enter the printer's IP address in the browser, it must implement the web server integrated for your printer.

  2. Click on the network tab.  You should see the summary of network for your printer. Please click Wireless 802.11 in the menu on the left side.

  3. Please click on "Configure IPv4"

  4. Please click the radial button next to "Manuel IP" then click on the button 'Suggest a manual IP Address'.  The manual, manual IP subnet mask and default gateway of manual must complete for you. Please click the radial "manual DNS Server."  Please enter manual 8.8.8.8 for the preferred DNS server of manual and 8.8.4.4 for auxiliary DNS.  What are the Google public DNS servers.

  5. Please click on 'apply '.  If you get a warning message about changing the IP address please click on 'OK '.
  6. Please turn off the printer by the power button on the printer.  Please wait a minimum of 15 seconds and then turn the printer back on.
  7. Please press the ePrint icon in the lower left corner of the front panel of the printer.  This should encourage you to accept the terms of service.  Please choose "accept."
  8. When you are prompted on the automatic updates, select 'yes '.  The printer should now display the HP logo, while the printer communicates with the HP servers.  Print the information sheet of web services with your printer application code.

Please let me know how it goes.

    Hello

I just installed a Pro OfficeJet 8610 with downloaded installation. I found my printer on the wireless LAN and it connected. I can't print anything from my Windows 8 HP laptop! I print from Word (or anywhere) and I said filled, but nothing prints. I can even see him spool printing, and it seems he's going through, but nothing prints. I even tried a direct USB connection with the same problem.

However, I can print from the web using the ePrint (send to the printer), but it's not practical.

    It is a weird problem.

I had a friend connect using their computer and it worked (wireless) and I can even print from my iPhone locally.

This indicates that the HP laptop - I deleted the printer, reinstalled the drivers, ran all windows updates, reboted (computer and printer) several times and the same problem persists.

Please help - very frustrated and ready to return the stupid printer.

    Hello

    5. Open the 3 folder, locate the HPBXPSRENDER. DLL file and rename it to HPBXPSRENDER. OLD
    6. Finally, reinstall the software and try to print.

I've reconfigured my printer to my router.  Any suggestions?

    Hey @LoreeW,

Welcome to the Forum from HP Support. I hope you enjoy your experience here.

I understand that you have a few problems with ePrint using your HP Officejet Pro 8610 e-all-in-one printer.  I want to help you with this.

I recommend that you first check your printer to verify its intact ePrint connection:

    • Touch the icon (webservices)
    • If you see an address @hpeprint.com, I recommend that you try to send a test ePrint from a different email domain than what you use on your work computer.  If it prints correctly, we can rule out your printer as being a factor in this particular issue.  If your printer's Web services is enabled is more, re - enable.  Any problem would occur with this, click here to access another relevant post I created.  Scroll to my suggestion re: setting a manual DNS as this tends to help by allowing the webservices where fail the normal steps.

If you were able to send your printer work ePrint of any e-mail domain other than the one you use at work, read on.  Click here to see an HP ePrint article that focuses on the various factors that can contribute jobs ePrint not printing not.  Note that some areas of corporate email may become incompatible with ePrint due to the presence of a digital signature in the outgoing message template.  EPrint jobs you send work meet these criteria?

Please let me know the result of your troubleshooting by responding to this post.  Thanks again for reaching out in the Forums - we are always happy to help you.  If I helped you to solve the problem and that you liked this post, feel free to give me virtual accessories by clicking on the 'Thumbs Up' icon below.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8610: Do not print the PDF of ADF 8610 files

If I scan a document on the glass of my 8610, print the PDF that I create on my computer Win 10 or any other machine including Mac and Ubuntu (Linux) "correctly".

If I use the 8610's ADF to create a PDF from multiple page, the document is visible on the screen of ANY box of Ubuntu, Mac or Windows PC (s).

HOWEVER, if ANY computer try to print the PDF file for ANY printer, the page is EMPTY.

Based on 3 operating systems, the result (the white sheet of paper printed), it seems that the creation of PDF 8610's firmware needs some adjustments, please.

Well, I see you using web analytics to the printer rather than the use of the scanning software. There are two ways to analyze which should work a bit better than with a web scan: using the HP or Scan to Email scan software.

To install and use HP Scan (for Windows 10):

Download and install the latest drivers by clicking on this link.

When you want to analyze, click the icon on your desktop with a name similar to "Officejet Pro 8610". If you click the option under scan your PC should open HP Scan.

To install and use HP Scan (for Mac):

Download and install the latest drivers by clicking on this link.

When you want to scan, open the folder Applications, Hewlett-Packard and in this folder, open HP scanner (or scan to).

To set up scan to email:

    1. On the printer, click web services icon in the lower left corner of the screen.
    2. If you see Setup, click on Setup, then Accept/Yes.
    3. After the printer prints a page of web services, click applications, and then Scan to Email.

Please let me know the results after following the above. If you are able to scan, click on accept solution. If you appreciate my help, please click on the thumbs up icon. The two icons are below this post.

    Hi RandyT9,

I think it's related to distinctive ring setting. Have you tried to put the distinctive ring for all the rings feature and see if the printer can automatically respond?

If you are using distinctive ring service, please refer to the user manual on the distinctive ring setting.

If you don't use a distinctive ring service, make sure that the Distinctive Ring

function of the printer is set to all rings.

    Hope this can help.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8610: Program InstantInk HP

I try to save my printer to the HP InstantInk program.  One of the steps requires that I have print a page the printer which will include a code identifier for the site instantink.  My printer now appears to be out of yellow and white ink and, therefore, do not print.

Is it possible to get this code without being able to print?  If I go buy ink, it defeats the whole purpose to register for this service.

    Hey @Undrhil,

Welcome to the Forum from HP Support.

I understand that you're looking to get the claim code from your e-all-in-one printer HP Officejet Pro 8610 without printing so you can finish your instant installation of ink. I want to help you with this.

If your printer is connected to a network (ethernet or wireless will do) tap the Web services your façade of 8610's (). If the webservices are not activated, activate them and press OK to enable the automatic updates of printers. If you see just low ink alert messages jumping in front of them. Under the summary webservices, you should see an ePrint ending address by @hpeprint.com. The foregoing the ' @' symbol is your claim code. If this code does not work, press Print Info under settings webservices; (I realize that this will not print, but it will update the code and make it sustainable for the rest of the configuration of your ink instant).

Wireless Router Range Extender: Linksys RE6500

    Multipoint unresolved printing problem:

HP OfficeJet Pro 8610 had printed out successfully all the three above mentioned computers since the purchase of the 04/04/2015. End of August 2016 he started intermittently refusing to print wireless, sometimes do not connect wireless or holder from job to job.

09/06/16 I posted the question on the Forum of community HP between 07/09/16 and 08/09/16 had dialogue on possible solutions. I followed the Commission received and interpreted it following recommended tasks - all without result:

    (1) sequential power off and cord power to the router Range Extender, OfficeJet 8610 Pro and iMac and removal after 60 seconds of powering the devices in the same order. Result: would not print.

    (2) off wireless to iMac. IMac connected to a printer via an Ethernet cable. Printer would not print.

    (3) tried to scan the printer for iMac's wireless: would not scan.

    (4) tried Scan via an Ethernet cable from the printer to iMac: Scan worked.

    (5) connecting iMac via an Ethernet cable to the router and printing system reset iMac to remove the printer and then added printer as directed by its name: HP OfficeJet Pro 8610 [455491]. The results have been mixed:

    (a) wireless to iMac to the router and Ethernet cable router for printer: test page printed.

    (b) the iMac to the router and wireless router for printer: test page will not print.

08/09/16, having nothing specified by HP Community Forum, I contacted AT & T, the provider of my router and all my services (wireless, broadband, Internet, fixed phone) for the Support service.

    AT & T: recommended

    (1) make a new Setup wireless printing HP itself using my secure wireless network name and password, and then perform a reboot of the router. Between the two actions (new set-up and router reboot), the printer starts and print a previously submitted test page. To confirm that the printer was actually working, I turned off the printer, waited, he turned back and tried to print Test page: the page not print.

    (2) AT & T then told me to do a new manual of the printer setting. Just as I got Set Up on the screen of the printer, the printer prints the Test Page.

AT & T told me that the printer should work fine now.

Once I have shut down my system and restarted the 09/09/16, I found that I could not print anyway:

Wireless to the router for printer

Wireless to the router and Ethernet cable for printer

Ethernet cable to the router and wireless to a printer

    Ethernet cable for printer

Another experiment on 11/09/16 led to erratic printing depends on the original machine:

1 iMac for HP printer: wireless printer for iMac gives not the Page of Test sent for printing, but a series of blank pages, followed by several pages of code and followed by more white pages. Code pages are all the same and then talking about the Cambria police (body).

    a. the first pages all State: %! PS-Adobe-3, 0% APL_DCS_Encodiong: UFT8% APLProducer: (Version 10.11.6 (Build 15 1)

    b. human beings second page with: 14 start/FontName dict / TJOLUV+ def Cambria

Page 2 on three subsequent print reading attempts the same as above, except for a different set of letters before "+ Cambria". A UAXKPA, a JJCFBS, and the third is WOKHHG.

    2. yet, when I tried to print the Test Page of the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro wireless, printing is successful (i.e., the test page prints and do not print pages blank and coded.

I'm sorely need a remedy to this overall situation.

    • What is originally intermittently, the HP printer?
    • What is originally a wireless printing and Ethernet to vary?
    • What is causing the iMac to print Virgin and code pages when the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro both print pages "regular"?
    • The question one demanding a new router?

I am running Ubuntu 14.04 as my operating system. I just bought a Hewlett-Packard (HP) Officejet Pro 8610. I have installed all the software, registered the product, etc. etc. etc.  It receives instructions wireless through a network with my computer and it prints very well on the computer.

It does not analyze. I'm told 'No found computer', followed by instructions for both Windows and Mac users. I do not see clear parallels to the Ubuntu system.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8610: HP Officejet pro not connected 8610

I have a new modem and children router Duel.    Router is Lynksis EA3500 with capacity of 2.4 Ghz and 5 Ghz.   You just bought a new HP Officejet Pro 8610 which I learned now will only work on a 2.4 GHz system.   When I connect the printer to the wireless system, it stops the 5 GHz network.   It starts all other devices.   These devices can join the 2.4 GHz but can see is even more the 5.0 GHz network.   Is not acceptable.

Do I need another printer, or can it be fixed?   I don't understand why the printer will not run on the 2.4, but allow only laptops, televisions and office use the 5 GHz range.   Ridiculous.

I spent 1: 30 on the phone with Lynksis first, and they checked the router works perfectly.   Then I spent 2 hours talking to HP in India and they just said sorry we will say HP to make this printer capable of 5.0 in the future.

Not good - ready to return the printer.   Another option?

    Thanks Eric

I just got the phone with Lynksis and they fixed the problem caused by the HP support line.  HP support line put me on the wrong channel widths.   Lynksis immediately saw the problem.  So after day LOOOONNNG computers and laptops are back on 5.0 and the printer is on 2.4.   Just surprised that the HP support service was unfamiliar with the issue and so ready to tell me that the computers will simply stay on 2.4 if they wanted to be connected to a printer.

    Thank you Eric student honor.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8610: Cannot receive faxes

I am able to send faxes but not receive them. I turned off in error correction, changed the fax speed to slow and auto answer enabled. None of this has worked.

I think the problem might be the way that the printer and fax are connected. I have a cable modem and the telephone line goes directly from the modem jack. My phone service is through Comcast cable, then nothing is plugged directly into the wall jack to the phone.

I have a phone on the same phone number, which is plugged into the upper Jack on the printer. The (phone) cord frrom the modem cable to the printer is plugged directly underneath.

    Hello @foxtail09,

Welcome to the forums of HP.

I understand that you Officejet Pro 8610 is unresponsive to faxes.

    Everything seems correct.

Your phone line has a service of voice mail on this subject?

Voicemail could be intercepted the fax before that the printer gets it.

Run a test fax report to determine the status of fax on the printer and whether or not it is properly configured to send and receive faxes.

    Hello

This can happen for several reasons, most common duration to a problem with the registry permissions.

I would suggest trying the following tool, it is a 3rd party utility that analyze and repair registry permissions, and so you can use it at your own risk (I used it several times without any problems):

    http://www.MajorGeeks.com/mg/getMirror/tweaking_com_reset_registry_permissions, 1.html

Click the Start button and let a few minutes (it may take some time, about 5-10 minutes), the journal stated: "" once it ends.

Then try to reinstall the HP software and check for the difference.

If the same continues I suggest contacting HP sopport to continue such troubleshooting.
