  I recently upgraded my PC and installed a new motherboard. Now, I've had my C3180 printer for 5 years now, whenever I have installed the printer software, I have had no problem on one of my computers. The software in question is the HP all in one series to my printer.

  Now here's the problem, after setting up my new PC, I'm trying to install the printer drivers to use the scan etc. The error is the software constantly gives it's when I try to install: cannot find USB drivers and a USB device "this computer has no support USB available for this installation. I tried the program several times and he refuses to install.

  Well, here's the catch, I installed all my USB motherboard etc drivers correctly and they all work. All my USB devices, keyboard, webcam, headset all work. Now on windows 7 64-bit devices and printers, the printer is actually shown and active. I even printed the windows program help and it prints that I need to fine.

  In Device Manager in the USB printer section he calls here HP Photosmart 3100 is active and has no problem at all.

  Hello

  (1) run the executable (i.e. AIO_CDA_NonNet_Full_Win_WW_130_140.exe) HP installation package
  2) open Windows Explorer and type % temp % in the address bar, and then press ENTER.

  3) navigate to the extracted installation folder, it will start by 7z (e.g. 7z1234S)
  Note: If there are several of these files to find the most recent sort by "Date Modified".
  4) go to the "Setup" subdirectory in this 7z folder.
  (5) move, delete or rename the usbready.exe file which is the Intel USB System Check utility.
  6) navigate the directory tree in the 7z folder and double-click the installation executable (Setup.exe)

  You can see any difference now?

  I called them today, I don't know what you tell them but I transferred to technical support, where a man sent me to buy new cartridges French and out my Japanese those and then when I called to say I, another man told me to put them in and then when I did he put me on hold and then came back and told me he would send me a new printer C1380 the next week!

• Photosmart C3180 prints text scrabbled

  I have (2) printers Photosmart C3180, each on separate Wxp Pro Sp3 desktop computers.  Sometimes a single printer starts printing printing text scrabbled in the middle of a page or image.  Sometimes, the scrabbled text is spread (one line at a time) on several pages, and I turn off the printer to stop it.  The other printer worked properly all the time.

  I ran the latest HP printer/Scan diagnosis tool and pointed out just as good.  I even moved the printer on another computer with a new installation and I still have the occasional print issue.  Turning off the printer and the print jobs always restarting.  I disabled the advanced features of the printer, but that did not help.  HP update indicates no updates needed, but MS Update (2) optional updates (DOTUSB, DOTPRT) for my C3180 printer.  What are MS knows that HP does not work?  Which solves the update of MS (as there is no detail or back links to MS)?

• C3180 prints not Outlook.

  My HP C3180 will print any emails on Outlook. I press print and nothing happens at all. I have pretty much manages print a Word doc, but with a lot of struggle and by changing the preferences of the printer to its best quality and dark black.

  I would say uninstalling the software of the printer.

  Once it is uninstalled, I suggest you put your system in clean boot mode in the configuration of Microsoft.  You can do this by following this document: How to perform a clean boot in Windows.

  Once the computer is in clean boot mode, I would suggest to reinstall the drivers and C4100 all-in - One Full Feature Software and HP Photosmart C3100.

• C3180 printer has been disconnected software-wise (Snow Leopard)

  I loaded the 5 Jan snow leopard.  No problem printing until yesterday. It was the first time this month for a sweep. Went to the HP website with the question on that.  Got a long printed "scanning software does not open or is not responding in mac OS X V10.4 ' following instructions. When I'm at the point of the Printer Configuration utility this utility disappeared.

  So I dug around the memory of the computer and found the software used to configure the printer. (a C3180).  I ran it.  Now, if I want to print something, the printer is on a permanent BREAK.  Failed to contact HP - they have a phone problem that makes my incomplete call.  Someone knows how to help?  Peter

  My problem is I can not find this file to open and I have no idea of what we call the name of the file I'm looking for or where it could exist and I've done a search without success the only file I've met are theHP recovery Partition and this does not open upward to display this exe file that I need.

  I have windows 8.1 which at the moment I am lost on where things are except 'This PC' and that did not help me.

  I took the first step and copied the files on my desk if anyone can help me find this folder to restore these files and complete the task.
