• Color laserjet 4500 stripes CMYK

  Hello, last week, I have an old printer to my friend HP color laserjet 4500 (older printer...).
  He works "very well", but on each page, there are two bands CMYK. There is always in a different position on the page, but at the same distance from the other band. I ve already many printed pages, and these bands are always distinct as the first impression... Configuration pages (where you can see those stripes) and a close-up (page 3) is attached. Is there anyone who knows what could be the problem? Thank you!

  It sounds like a problem with the main drum, unit is 6 inches in diameter and thus you can get 2 copies of the default on a page, the colors are separated as the unit performs a full rotation between each color due to the gear and the displacement of carousel, so that you get each color in turn one after the other.

  As it is the width of the image, it may be the cleaning squeegee or similar within the drum unit, it might be useful checkign the lift remaining where it is close to replacement anyway.

  Each cartridge replacement will not solve this problem, as the belt is not a cause that on this model, the color of the scene are stacked exactly on top of the other, the image is formed on the surface of the belt, the element that takes the ink in the cartridges, and transfers it to the belt is the drum unit and it will expose this issue if defective.

  You should be able to confirm able from the beginning of one single fault at the beginning of another, this should be 6 inches (152 mm) - you should see also the spacing between each color of 6 mm the image below shows a typical default if the drum has a brand, the image will show spacing of 6 mm between the colors, the spacing between the beginning of the black point and the beginning of the next black dot will be 6 inches.

  We have a Color Laserjet 4600 printer. For a long time, it has been printing cyan on the back of the documents that are printed.

  Recently, I cleaned the front "roller", which is long and looks like a long piece of rubber/plastic black thick.

  It printed fine for a few leaves, then again blue printing on the back of the paper. The front of the book seems perfect, however.

  I also noticed more cyan toner, which is "stuck" on the front "roller" of the printer.

  I went back to take a picture of him, but I couldn't find on the "roller" to show you.

  What can I do to fix this?

  The part number of the kit is Q3668-67925. Very easy to replace. You just remove the screw at the top of both sides and just slide the old one out and put the new. You must first remove the top of the foot. If you have a crazy glue container, the people were able just to glue the broken pieces and put back once the glue has hardened.

  Our Color Laserjet Pro M176n MFP is stuck at initializing, since the last time that the yellow toner cartridge has been replaced. After the replacement of the cartridge, the toner carousel turned, started making rattling noises and then stopped. She does after every start. It seems that there is something blocking the movement of the carousel, since I can't move it even manually as described in of many other forum posts on similar problems. Is there a way to access the back of the carousel to see if there is something blocking it from moving?

  I am convinced that there will be second hand sources so that I can buy and replace the card myself. (I am a technophile electronic and capable of doing this kind of work!)

  Please indicate the sources anywhere in the world.  I live in the Portugal.

  Take a look on ebay. There are a few alternative control and ration cards. I think that a main draw of replacement for the printer will cost for a new printer or used may be the only option...

• Color Laserjet Pro M476dw MFP: HP Color Laserjet MFP printing problems M476dw Pro

  Only, we installed our printer HP Color Laserjet Pro MFP M476dw yesterday and I noticed once it is published a PCL XL Error report instead of what I was printing.  I don't think that anything from him, but today, it happens almost all the time.  I tried to find possible solutions and stumbled upon everyone says to disable AVG...  We do not use AVG, we use MSE.  Is it a driver problem or else?  Any help would be appreciated.  Nothing more annoying than to try to use a new printer and it is not working properly.

• Page color Laserjet Pro CM1415fnw covers in cyan when left.

  I have a CM1415fnw pro Color Laserjet started dumping toner cyan on all print jobs. You can still see the entire job behind a wall of blue. It prints a few jobs if the printer is off and unplugeed for a little while but when left will do as shown above. seems properly print black and white if the setting for all of the work of the printer is configured to print in grayscale. I tried to clean and calibrate several times back to back and tried to update the firmware with no luck. Replaced all toners of color as they were almost empty probably about 7%, still no luck. Does anyone else have a similar experience? All other functions work fine.

  On the manual, starting on page 233, it includes steps for quality problems that you can take a look at.

  LASERJET PRO CM1410.

  Make sure that the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (do not use a hub or a surge protector)

• Problem with Printer Color LaserJet 2600n of printing. Thin strips Magenta on the printed Pages

  I have a Color LaserJet 2600n, on which I replaced both magenta and yellow cartridges a week ago. Both cartridges are genuine HP. The printer cleaned and calibrated.

  Today, the thin magenta strips about 3 "apart began to appear on my printed pages. Print pages, but there is a 'click' stable, audible about 2 seconds apart from from the inside of the printer. Even after a cleaning several times, the bands are less bright, but they are still there. They also appear on the printed test page and on the page of troubleshooting print quality. Is there something wrong with this new magenta cartridge? This problem has never happened before in the 6 years, I've owned this printer.

  Hello

  Do you think that the printer has impeded?  Or, is there a big gap between the ejected pages?  Have you checked the paper type in the bin?  Please make sure that the paper type is set to "Plain".

  After the closure of the status bar, the media sensor will detect the first fed leaves 5 and decide on the type of media.  Maybe your media are dirty or defective?  Try cleaning the sensor of media.

  You can disable the detection of media sensor, so if the above does not resolve issue you, please let me know.

  Hi have a Color LaserJet 4600 printer that produces very fine vertical streaks of light on the magenta.  What is a toner problem?  Is there a warranty on the cartridge?  Thanks for any help!

  Most likely the toner cartridge is bad, isn't it a color.  HP Toner come with a warranty, howerver, they must be returned to the seller with whom you bought for replacement.

  I see that you wonder if you need to replace the color cartridge when it is low. This printer is a printer AIO, therefore, you need to replace the ink cartridge when it becomes too weak to be able to resume printing. However, if you print mostly in black, you can configure a preset black only to print in black and white. This would help reduce the use of the color cartridges.

  NOTE: Composite black - for black and white images and photos, a mix of colors called 'composite black' can be used to achieve the quality significantly improved picture and soft gray tones that can be achieved with only black toner. For users who want to print images using just black toner, many HP printers color customer offer configurable options allowing the client to print using only black toner. For example, by selecting "print in grayscale" in the printer driver Specifies print using black ink only.
