  I'm trying to install the drivers on a print server on Windows Server 2008 x 64 for a printer HP Color LaserJet series 5520. Someone tried to run the installation package for the 64-bit driver and brought the print server. He installed the HP print monitor, and the print spooler would not start. Trying to solve this problem, the files in the registry and FileDepository associated with this printer model have been removed. The key to the Hp print monitor has finally removed (which was the last entry in the event logs) and was able to start the print spooler and print services have been restored. No further questions with this print server.

  I could add other drivers to the print server using the Add Wizard driver without any problem.   No, I did not change the toner, but I found the solution.

  This solution worked for me and my printer works now. You also try MAC OS.

  Remove the printer in printers and Scanners.
  Click on the button +, select the Protocol IP on top, type the address IPv4 of the printer, select Jet Direct below and then apply.

  Suddenly, I'm unable to print documents on all HP printers when they used to work perfectly. To print a test page for my work printers, printers print a page saying: "GE publ.   After finding a few other posts of similar problems, the solution is simply to disable to moy. Their new updates randomly intereferes with printing.

  I just added a new MacBook Air to my network and at the same time moved my HP printer across the desk.  Everything worked fine for months (with HP toners not; there are a lot of ink remaining in each). After reconnection and restart the printer it came with a "memory error power" for all four cartridges.  Standard deletion/relocation, restarting, etc. does nothing to restore the "error".  No drops, bangs or problems occurred when reinstalling the printer - just the new error.

  I use this printer for years.  It works beautifully.

  Windows 10 has just done an update & the printer driver disappeared.  I use this printer with a HP Jet Direct J4135A usb card.  Now any driver or what I do I try to install or use, I get the same error message.

  I am trying to use the printer driver's upd-pcl6 - x 64 - 6.3.0.21178.exe.  The printer driver appears in the settings & is by default we & they say that everything works correctly.

  Can you help me please?  I don't want to go out and buy another printer.

  Found the solution for everyone that might have this problem.

  Just right click on the printer icon in the Device Manager and select printer properties / Advanced / change & driver driver HP Color LaserJet 4550 PCL6 ranking to HP Color LaserJet 4550 PCL6 and click OK.  That's all there is to it.

  Now, it will work with USB (HP Jet Direct J4135A Card) that is not supported, instead of just supported network.

  Try to install the following package to make sure that your drivers are perfectly up-to-date:

  Then restart your Mac and try to scan the image.

  If the same persisnts open the JSCA-Packard folder and move the HP scanning application to the trash.

  Then install the HP Easy Scan app instead (which is the latest version of HP scanning):

  https://iTunes.Apple.com/us/app/HP-easy-scan/id967004861?MT=12

  Now try scanning using the application and check for the difference.
