HP Compaq 6715 s: bad resolution on HP Compaq 6715 s

6715 s I bought a HP Compaq antiques. It has 10 pro installed windows but there seems to be a problem with the resolution of the screen (images look a little discaled and I get a horizontal scrolling on pages where I don't have them on my old laptop). Resolution is set to 1024 x 768, and I change it only at 800 x 600. In properties, I see 'generic PnP monitor '. What can I do to get the correct resolution?

I realized a web page that uses svg images. One of them is here:

The svg is produced by Adobe Illustrator, CS5 version. Seen in any browser, the images look good at any magnification, but when I print the page in Firefox, the image is blurry seriously, apparently because that pixelation uses the wrong resolution.

The same phenomenon occurs in all browsers, not quite as bad in Chrome, but still not perfect.

    Hi, guys!

I have a little problem with my pc. I own a Compaq Presario CQ57 and I recently reinstalled my windows 7 Ultimate 64 - bit Windows, due to a problem of windows. The person who installed the windows and the drivers, installed the wrong display driver and my PC displays everything in a weird way. The best size I choose for my resolution is 1024x768px, but I need a bigger one at all to work correctly.

I looked for the drivers, but I can't find the one I need. I highly appreciate any response.

I don't know if I managed to make myself clear, so I'll add a link. Click on. The first image of "set the display resolution" better describes what I need for my pc. Thank you!

After connecting the screen to my MacBookPro 2012 (Cougar) I just can't get a good resolution. I tried to use 1080 p in the settings of the screen on a Mac, but the result is so bad. It is not strong as it used to be with my old MacBook late 2006. How can I change the settings - I connect with a HDMI cable. should I use another alternative? Is that what I can do on the Mac or the screen?

Check the calbe hdmi adapter. It might be a version that allows no more than 1080 p.

  • Very bad resolution in the menus (models)

I have a number of movies shot with a Canon Vixia HF10 camcorder. The camera settings are on NTSC with cadence 60, AVCHD.

In my iMac (OS X vers.10.7.3), I have tried everything first to change my films in iMovie, but as soon as I discovered that iMovie does not correctly the AVCHD format.

With Adobe Premiere Elements, I could however manage excellently AVCHD format. But when I got to the final stage in creating a menu

my movies (I used models of first menu) the menus were very bad poor resolutions. I could see this time to 'Preview' and on DVD.

The actual movies have been great with a real resolution AVCHD on DVD.

Why this happens to you menus? I have to burn my movies without the menus?

When you preview your DVD menus, looking for a version of what your final release will look like very low resolution. The document is intended to test the navigation. The menus and video will look much nicer once the file is rendered and output as a DVD or BluRay.

  • Bad resolution on Windows 7 - Satellite P100-203

    Hello

Since I installed the new Windows 7 (32 bit) on my Toshiba laptop, I has not yet managed to get a better resolution of the screen then 1024 * 768.
I tread to install the necessary drivers windows 7 for my gforce go 7600 from the Toshiba Web site but that helped me to give me a higher resolution.
    It really hurts my eyes.

Is there someone who may have a solution to this irritating problem?
    Thanks in advance,

    MH01

    Hello

The question is whether the Device Manager contains a yellow exclamation point next to the graphics card. If there is no yellow exclamation point, this means that the driver is installed correctly and the lower resolution is not related to the missing driver.

If there is a yellow mark exclamation then this means that you don't l l install the driver correctly.

You can try to install the Toshiba page display driver, but don t, run the exe but cela in Device Manager.
Use the Advanced Setup that allows you to point to the files in the driver downloaded from the driver page.

I have a Satellite L500-1XJ and for some reason when you visit Facebook it's always high resolution with a small text and You tube is in contrast with a low resolution and large text.

I checked my settings in Windows and it's very well together in 1366 x 768, it's just these two web pages which, for some reason, are different. I think my daughter was pressing the mouse buttons one day and this seems to have changed the settings for the screen on these two particular web pages.

  • Bad resolution of Qosmio G30 - external display via the HDMI connection-

Hello! This problem makes me crazy, please help if you can...

I just bought a G30-102 and I am trying to use it with an external display via the HDMI connection. The problem I have is that the native resolution of 1920 x 1200 cut the edges of the screen and the quality looks terrible - its almost as if the entire screen is enlarged. I tried with a BenQ FP241wz initially (1080i is 1920 x 1200) and the Toshiba helpline could not find a solution either - even after painfully reinstall all the drivers, etc..

Its been going on for so long, I thought I'd try it out with my HDTV instead, just to be sure it wasn't a monitor problem. So I tried with my Toshiba 32WLT66 - and come to find that it has exactly the same problem.

All the display settings appear to be correct and the G30 is convinced that the result is correct, so I have now it is - don't you think not that this is a problem with my HDMI port?

Please help, I'm a designer, and it is essential that I use the machine on a large screen. If it is a hardware of the G30 problem, I need to talk to Toshiba immediately replace or fixing.

    Hello

I tested the Qosmio G30 (HD-DVD) with my LCD TV using a HDMI cable. Everything worked perfectly. As a first step, I put 1080i value in the settings of the BIOS and after following the instructions in the HDDVDGuide document under http://support.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/TSB6A01LH000LR01.htm

  • Bad resolution

I have a 1920 x 1200, 16:10 native portable display. But when I go to display settings to change the resolution (below) I have all these funky resolutions that extend from my screen.

    Resolutions (lowest to highest)

    800 x 600, 1024 x 768, 1280 x 720, 1280 x 1024, 1400 x 1050, 1600 x 1200, 1920 x 1080 and my native 1920 x 1200 resolution.

Wacky huh? All I want is the 1440 x 900 16:10 resolution, I'm afraid try adding the resolution in the register myself (because I'm not good with computers and don't know where to edit), I tried PowerStrip (not compatible with my ATI Radeon HD 3870 PCI Express card) and I have all my drivers updated, but I still have this problem.

Please help me solve this problem, it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Andrew

Edit: Under Vista 64-bit and if you need more information to resolve this problem, just ask.

Yes, I'm sorry that I have not been on. It seems that in the 10.x drivers Catalyst, they removed all the resolutions that I liked, so when I updated my graphics driver to 10.3 (current is one that came out), I lost all the resolutions. So, I went on the site Web of ATI, entered my OS and card and other and clicked on the "previous Drivers and Software" and downloaded the patch 9.12. All fixed upward. Thank you.

  • Dual screen monitor - bad resolution options

I have a Dell Latitude E6420 running Windows 7 Professional 64 bit which I use to several jobs in various locations.  Most have a docking station connected to one or two screens (one VGA, one DVI).  I run dual screen as often as I can, so, even at a workstation with a single monitor, I use the screen as a second monitor.  I also give presentations from my laptop, usually via a VGA connection port of the laptop.

There is a special meeting room which has two screens plasma inside that depend on a VGA connection (must therefore always show the same performance and appear as the single monitor when connected to the laptop).  I use a lot this room.  Until recently, when I plugged it monitors would show an image full screen to ordinary resolution (800 x 600 or 1024 x 768).  I use these as secondary monitors, with my laptop as main screen.  I have check all monitor activity through the interface of the Intel HD 3000 graphics driver.  The pilot is the last available from Dell (9.17.10.3040).

However, now when I plug in this House, secondary monitors show an image in a hurry (abscissa) and the single resolution options offered by the pilot are 1366 x 768 and 4 x 3.  Yes, FOUR by THREE pixels.  None of these are the native resolution (which should be 1024 x 768).  Nothing I can will get monitors to display full-screen with good resolution.  My colleague, with (in theory) the same laptop has no problem.

There also seems to be some sort of cache or memory for monitor configurations.  Whenever I drop down to a workstation, Windows automatically configures the monitors in the way they were last time I was there (so with the monitors in the correct locations, resolutions, etc.).  Is it possible to reset this memory, so that I can start from scratch?

    Hello

Please contact Microsoft Community. I imagine the inconvenience that you are experiencing right now. The issue you described can occur due to the incompatibility of the display drivers. So let me help you with that.

You did changes to the computer before the show?

I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below and check if it helps:

Uninstall and reinstall the display driver

First download the display driver and save it to the computer. You can download the latest driver to display from the link below.

    http://www.Dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/drivers/DriversDetails?driverId=XGPWM

Uninstall the display driver, then reinstall it. Follow the steps mentioned below to uninstall:

    1. Press Windows + R, type devmgmt.msc , and then click ok.
    2. Search now and do a right-click on the display driver , and then click Uninstall.

For your reference, you can check the links below.

  • Bad resolution size is re-enabled Photoshop

I had Photoshop CS6 on a Macbook Air 11 '', and when he died I re-uploaded it on my new 15 "Pro. However, when I open the text and interfaces and so on are really pixelated and I cannot see anything in the net. Even when I open an image, it is not crispy and doesn't focus itself as it normally does. Even windows configuration when I downloaded it were like that, so there is something wrong with the program itself. Is it possible to change it so that it looks on the screen 15 ''?

  • Bad resolution H.264 problem

    Hello

Usually, I make my films to screens of to the str like H.264. But this color combo seems to be the problem.

I ve just made very simple animations, two solid gray different in background and then texts som orange on top that makes the .ai files. (Same result eith .psd and .pdf)

Make it only that looks really good is made through as lively queue.

That one is sharp as a knife, the rest looks like Danish LEGO.

No one knows the reason for this or have any ideas of how this output with better quality?

    AE_Example.jpg

Use Adobe Media Encoder and make sure you have selected a high bit rate, quality, and two pass encoding. I don't know what animation rendering benchmark - h.264 means because there is no such codec. In some versions of AE, you can choose h.264 Quicktime, but you should never use this format. Apple has abandoned the development of Quicktime H.264, and it has never been very good. Only the SOUL gives you the ability to do multi pass compression and which significantly increases the quality to make it without the data rate. You can also increase the flow of data to each 'broadband' or 20 or even 30 if the video is launched from a computer. If it is streaming from a server keep it to 20 or 25. You can always test the system used to determine the best settings for playback. I also see a color difference. Solve you this problem using the color management. The last suggestion I have is that you use 29.97 FPS (NTSC standard) If you are in the United States. You will have less problems with artifacts of movement at this pace. Color full against each other are always going to have some compression questions but your look pretty good. You will never get the same edge detail with things like the text moving if you compare with I Frame (MPEG) compression lossless codecs, but you should be able to get close enough.

It is very important to realize that you can't judge a video playback with a still image. The video play back on the device for the delivery of resolution and frame rate. I carefully watched the sample that you gave and the only difference between the two samples of hl.264 is the saturation of the colors. The edge aliasing is quite similar as you can see by this composite. The best suggestions I can give you is to make sure that you understand the color management and turn on, turn pass compression 2 in the SOUL and lift the data rate. Design wise I'd throw a little texture into your course. It can be very subtle and you will get a better behavior of edge when you begin to move the type on the screen.

  • Bad resolution in the images uploaded on Pinterest

I'm at the end of my mind and I can't for the life of understand me what causes this problem. I created graphics for use on our social media platforms that have problems during the translation of Web software. As long as they are high resolution in Photoshop, once uploaded to sites like Pinterest, it seems that the resolution is something funky around the text in the chart in particular. I tried to change the dpi, change the bits per channel, recording JPG and PNG, making the higher resolution and lower, flatten the image, pixelation of text layers and nothing works. Pinterest is the worst of the platforms, but there are traces on Twitter and Facebook as well in appearance.

Is this something to do with the settings of Photoshop? Or is this just a problem with the site? I know that I can be quibbling here.

    Anything to help. Thank you.

It's not your fault: Pinterest processes images uploaded with predefined jpg that is "good enough" quality, but jpg is formidable as the format for the illustrative vector illustrations sharp and lettering. As in your example.

The result is fringing and blur, because jpg uses lossy algorithm to save the picture data, who loses the original edges in the process.

Many Web sites that allow you to download images will process your images in a similar way. Some allow more control, but most are not.

BTW, Pinterest scales down from any image with a maximum width of 736px. Any height, seems, is allowed.

Accept, let go and move on! :-)
