HP dc7100 SSF, XP Pro, Mem: DDR PC2700, DDR PC3200 non - ECC, 512 MB memory

I gave this computer in a family member to replace another computer, she has 256 MB in each of the 2 locations. the other 2 units are empty... The old computer is a HP Pavilion a610y with 512meg memory on a memory card. On the label, it is identified as: 0425 PC3200U-30330

HYMD264646B8J-D43

512MB DDR 400 MHz CL3.0

The dimensions of this card are: 5 1/4 inches long and 1 1/4 inches in height.

This will agree and will work in the computer of SSF series HP-Compaq dc7100?

Dimensions desktop memory are a standard size, only the notches in the memory stick changes depending on the type. PC3200 notches are the same as pc2700 & it "should" work in the dc7100, but will operate at pc2700 speed since all the memory will operate at the speed of the slowest in the machine.

Only way to know for sure if it is compatible is to try it. Support white tabs at each end of the slot memory to open it. Match the tab inside the slot the memory stick guts to be sure that it is oriented correctly. Press firmly until the memory is seated and white paws nearby on the ends. Turn on the power and start. If you get the boot and no beeps error, you should be good. Once in Windows, check to see if the new memory is recognized. (You can also enter the BIOS to check before Windows starts)

  • Satellite Pro A100-622 can not read the card SD and Memory Stick with Windows Explorer

I have a Satellite Pro A100-622 running MS Vista Home Basic Edition. I tried to use the card reader integrated with SD and Memory Stick card but cannot view the contents using Windows Explorer.

In both cases, the laptop recognizes the card and try to install new hardware. Unable to do so, he asks the drive of the software provided with the cards. Any software not provided with a card and I cannot find drivers to make the drive work.

The only application that I can find on the laptop that is associated with the player is a module of SD formatting, but I don't want to format the card (s) I want to just read the current content of them and add files.

    Any ideas?

    Hello

You can download the drivers (and especially in your case for the sd-card-reader) here:

    http://PC-support.Toshiba-Europe.com/Vista/

    and here

    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/download_drivers_bios.jsp

So the other point is the service of the SD card must be enabled in the start menu-> Control Panel (change to Classic view)-> Administration-> Services-> Chip card (at this point, you must activate the service and configure it to start at windows startup).

If you have any other questions, just ask. ;)

  • I just bought a MAC pro. I signed in but none of my apps to my other apple devices are in section purchased from iTunes. How can I get this new macbook to access the apps I bought before I bought the macbook?

I just bought a macbook pro. I failed to access applications that have been purchased before buying the macbook. I use the same apple ID. How do you get apps already purchased?

    Hi SupaDupaTrini,

If you don't see the applications you have previously bought for download, I would first examine the history of your purchases using iTunes on your MacBook Pro software:

See your purchase history in iTunes on Mac or PC store
    https://support.Apple.com/en-us/HT204088

If you do not see your purchase, it can be hidden. Learn how do to hide or show items in your purchase history.

If you can't find an item that you purchased from the iTunes Store in the last 90 days, report a problem. For older purchases, contact the iTunes Store supportand some purchases, billing and redemption.

    Download your latest purchases
    https://support.Apple.com/en-us/HT201272

Before you can access a purchase, you must do the following:

    1. To log in with the Apple ID you used for the original purchase. Use the following steps to see what Apple ID allowing you to download something.
    2. Check if the purchases you are looking for are hidden. If your purchases are hidden, you can see them not even after following the steps below. Learn how to view purchases.
    3. See if content is available for the redownload. Previously purchased may not be items not available if they are no longer on the iTunes Store. Also, make sure that you are in a country whereyou can redownload points. If you have changed your Apple ID from one country to the other, you cannot download items you purchased in a previous country.

    Take care

  • Module of RAM not recognized on my Satellite Pro A60

    Hello
I have a Satellite Pro A60 and recently bought a RAM of 512 MB memory upgrade.
I have fitted on the correct port, however, there does not appear to be be achnoledged as being there.
    Can someone help me?

    [Edited by: admin August 31 05 19:02]

    Hi Robert,.

I guess your A60 has two RAM ports, then I suggest that Exchange you the two RAM modules autour to check if the port rather than the modules itself that is the source of the problem.

I hope that you took of anti-static precautions before manipulating the new RAM module. They are easily damaged by a discharge of static electricity.

  • Pavilion A700 n memory upgrade

    Hello

I want to upgrade the RAM on my Pavilion Z700 n that was installed with 512 MB. When I got outside, the label on it said that it was a PC3200 400 MHz DDR.

But when I checked online, the manual said that it the PC uses PC - 2700 RAM.

Also, when I checked in with Crucial line for the compatible modules, the site suggested that I could have a maximum of 2 x 1 GB PC-3200 modules while the manual says I can install up to 2 X 512 MB PC-2700 modules.

Could someone clarify if I can install 2 X 1 GB PC-3200 modules on the machine?

    Thank you

Your PC has a motherboard ASUS A7V8X-(Kelut) . The plug from motherboard to state that it will accept 2 GB PC2700 / memory modules DDR PC2100 non ecc.

Think this Crucial than said you. The modules are guaranteed compatible with that upgrade is expensive compared to upgrade a PC more modern that uses DDR2.  PC3200 modules will have their speed downgraded by your BIOS by the SPD settings that the BIOS sees it in the code memstick. PC2700 / non ecc PC2100 modules are simply not easy to find because they are no longer manufactured.

Yu will have to remove the installed OEM memory modules and use only new replacement modules

  • Having trouble finding compatible RAM

Hi there, ok so I bought 2 GB KIT 2 x 1 GB PC2700 333 MhZ DDR NON ECC OFFICE RAM MEMORY SAMSUNG 2 kits, so total 4 GB of RAM, I have a HP D530 SFF Mini-Tower and everywhere I went, told me these sticks must be compatible with my system.  I tried 1 at a time, both 2, 3 and 4 at the same time, this system will not recognize the sticks, does anyone have advice as to why they do not work, I don't want to go wasting money again before ordering anything else for the same result!

It's embarrassing when you say "everywhere where I went, told me that these sticks must be compatible with my system". If you ordered a site that was generic or specific.

    Individual:http://www.4allmemory.com/memory/compaq-hp-business-desktop-d530-sff/

generic: just googling PC2700 333 Mhz?

  • Memory for the dimension 2400 choice problem

I am looking to order more memory.  A concert stick would be nice.

My problem is the manual system provided with the Dimension 2400 says this:

    DDR SDRAM memory architecture
    Two memory connectors
Capacity of memory 128-,-256, or 512 MB

    Maximum memory 1 GB
Memory type PC2100 (266 MHz) and PC2700 (333 MHz) DDR
    SDRAM (non - ECC)

To purchase memory from Dell Web site says this:

    Memory Dell approved

    Maximum memory: 2048
    Number of slots: 2

    512 MB memory Module for Dell Dimension 2400 / 2400C / 4600 Desktops $ 33,14

    1 GB Memory Module for Dell Dimension 2400 / 2400C / 4600 desktop $ 55,14

If the Dell system manual is not saying 512 k by maximum stick and the Dell store saying 1 GB max stick?

I would like to get a 1 GB stick.  What should I do?

Hmm... I just read on user 1 GB stick magazines that many are running in their Dimension 2400.

Just want to confirm really what I got caught once before buying the bad memory. I read another thread, so am sure I'm ok with that.

OK, the RAM, I need for the upgrade of the Satellite A60 Pro is:
    200-pin SODIMM, DDR PC2700 Unbuffered CL2.5 (Non - ECC)

    Maplin:
    http://www.Maplin.co.UK/search.aspx?criteria=A31CG&doy=24m12
    A31CG DDR 2700 512M SODIMM

    Crutial
    http://www.crucial.com/UK/store/mpartspecs.asp?mtbpoid=04FE6CD8A5CA7304
512MB 200-pin SODIMM, DDR PC2700 upgrade for the Toshiba Satellite Pro A60 Series notebook

I don't think that 1GIG RAM is needed for my daughter :-)

Note: On my main PC, I got defective Crutial Ballistix memory, but Crutial were very good replacing it for free.

Thank you and a Merry Christmas and a happy new year to all of you on this forum.

Ah, just another thing I'm not clear on.

The NEW RAM replaces the existing, in other words I have remove the 256 and replace it with the 512? Reading the user manual, it is not clear and talks about expansion module. Probably, it would be obvious if I opened it to the top, but I'd rather not at this stage.

    Thank you

    Hello

The easiest way to see if the error occurs due to the memory card is to remove them and restart the unit. If the unit works properly without resend memory.

I found what RAM modules are compatible with your device:
    256 MB (PA3311U - 1 M 25)
    512 MB (PA3312U - 1 M 51)
    1024MB (PA3313U-1M1G)

All modules of this are tested with your laptop model and they should work fine.
