HP Deskjet 2540: Enlarge/reduce the size of the document during scanning.

Is it possible to enlarge/reduce size of document on the Deskjet 2540? My wife uses this function to its sewing patterns. If not able, could someone please recommend software?

Thank you

Tom

Hello

No function zoom, you 100% het (size) of the original when scan. No need to buy a software, you can use Windows Paint to increase/decrease the file scanned.

Kind regards.

  • How to reduce the file size or reduce the document during the conversion to PDF.

    I have to download an onlind doc and can't download it if it is in PDF format.  I converted it all right, but they limit the saize equal to or less than 5 Meg file.  The file is a page, and it says it's Meg 6.3, so it won't, except the transfer of files.

    Hi speck300,

    If you want to reduce the file size of a PDF document, you must use Acrobat. If you do not have Acrobat, you're certainly welcome to try for http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html. Acrobat Pro, there are several options to reduce the size of the file, including the file > save as other > PDF of reduced size and file > save as other > PDF optimized.

    Best,

  • Can you enlarge/reduce the size copies?

    For the HP Officejet Pro 8600 e-all-in-one printer can enlarge/reduce the size of the original by making copies?  Even for the more than 8600?

    If you select the copy option on the front panel of the Officejet Pro 8600, then you will present a screen with the settings... in the middle of it.

    Select the settings option:
    * Scroll down to resize
    * Use the arrow keys left/right to scroll the resize options.

    Resize Options:
    * Actual size of 100%
    * Full Page 91%
    * Adjust page
    * Custom size
    * Legal letter 72%
    * Letter to A4 94%
    * 2: 1

    I hope this helps.

    Press OK button to turn on the screen if it is in power save mode.  Move the up or down arrow to 'Copy', press OK, press the 'Settings' button then scroll down to 'Size', OK, then scroll upward or down to the appropriate setting.  If you select "Custom", OK, you can use the up and down arrows to select the reduce/enlarge scale factor, then press OK.

  • HP deskjet 3636: printing reduces photo size issues

    I'm trying my Motorola Moto G allows you to print images on a printer HP 3636. I used cloud print and printing HP, also HP ePrint service decision-making. They will all feel fine until I try to reduce the size of the image. No matter what I cut it to size, the image will print the original size. Smaller, pixelation more he gets. I have e mailed the image reduced to my laptop and my office and they will both be correctly printed image size reduced, I even used two different printers. I had the idea to send me the picture to my phone, but it is always printed on the large size. No idea what is causing this problem?

    Hello

    When you say small, do you want to say you want to print the image on a smaller paper size, or you want to reduce the size of the image on a selected paper size (a large border around the image)?

    When you use HP ePrint, try to play around with scaling, cropping, and correspond to the options on the page. Sometimes, due to the aspect ration of the differences between the original photo and the size of the chosen medium, it is not always possible to get exactly what you want, but you should be able to get close to you're desired output.

  • HP DeskJet 2546B: Deskjet 2540 stops in the middle of the print page

    I was not able to connect my computer to my pc via wifi a colledge, so I connect my printer via the usb port on my pc (I use the white cable provided with the printer that connects to the back of it). Impression of normal word documents is very well, but I have been tring to print several pages of a pdf file and it stops a few lines of print. No error message, no warning sounds, just stops. The power light flashes too.

    The cord is still plugged, it says in my devices on my pc that is always connected, and I can see the print job in my what. I can delete from my without any problem and it will spit the rest of th page. If I leave without doing anything, he will spit the pages finally after one minute. It will always work in Quebec of the printer, but it won't do anything with it.

    And I can't seem to convert the content of the pdf in word format to work around the problem.

    What can I do to fix this?

    Hi @Roket107,

    Thanks for joining the Forums of HP Support for a solution to your printing problem.

    I understand that you are using a HP Deskjet 2540 all-in-One printer with a Windows 10 computer and when you try to print from a PDF file the print job stops printing without any error messages, but seem to print correctly from MS Word. I would like to help.

    I would start by checking the printer software installed by downloading and running the tool HP Print and Scan Doctor. This tool can diagnose and solve many problems of printing software and printer.

    It could also help to ensure that the updates of Windows are updated.

    If HP Printy and the Scan doctor does detect no problem with printing software, perhaps that the software used to view and print PDFs must be updated, or uninstalled, then reinstalled.

    Please let me know if that solves the problem, or if you need assistance.

    Indeed, if this help you to achieve a solution please click the 'accept as Solution' and the 'thumbs up' buttons down below in this message.

    Thank you!

  • Canon 7 d "*" button does not reduce the magnification during playback

    My Canon 7 d "*" button will not "reduce the image / display thumbnails" while reviewing images (described on page 165 in the official Canon 7 d docs.)

    What the "*" button made during the review of the images is complete the review process and return the camera to normal operations.

    The "*" otherwise performs duties as announced during the filming of the photos and the camera works fine.

    1. Does anyone else have this problem?
    2. Is my camera broken?
    3. If Yes, can it be repaired?

    Thanks in advance for any help.

    PJoseph,

    Not going on the notes and advice, there are no known problems with the EOS 7 d that you describe.  It is unusual, and if you are still having trouble with this, I recommend that you have the camera assessed by our authorized Service Center.

    To start this process, you will need to fill out a service request on our Web site.

  • How to reduce the resolution to scan from the HP Officejet Pro 8600 on iMac

    I use a new HP Officejet Pro 8600 (N911a) with my iMac (OS 10.5.8) wireless. It produces large analyses... too big for my needs. Everything I scan results (1 to 8 page WORD documents) in 3 to 10MB PDF file size, some of which are too big to send an e-mail to some people.  How can I adjust the resolution down to create smaller pdf files?

    Tell that to analyze and it will ask you what type of scan, you want to make and which printer you want to use.  Apart from these options should be an arrow pointing down.  Click on this button, and it will give you options of different analysis for the type of analysis that you have chosen.  This should give you all the options you need to go down the size of the documents.  I use OS X 10.8, so if you see something different, let me know and I'll try to walk you through it.

  • Possible to edit the document during the sending process?

    Hello

    We use the Echosign API (SOAP version) v20 to apply values of database for the editable fields in a document template and then send it out to the signatory. So far so good.

    However, we wish to change the flow and the document created in Echosign in a "Draft" State, but still be able to edit the document (add/remove text blocks) in the Echosign interface before being sent manually to the signatory.

    Is this possible?

    Thank you

    Hello

    You cannot change the content of the template if that's what you want to change.

    Kind regards

    Please can someone help?

    Brian

    Welcome to the community @brianardmore HP

    I came across your post about problems you encounter when you install the printer on your system Windows 10 and wanted to respond to my suggestions.

    I recommend power cycling network devices and a clean boot on your computer and then try to install again.

    1. turn off the printer and the computer and unplug the router for 1 minute (do not press the buttons on the router).

    2. plug the router back in and wait another minute, turn on the printer and the computer.

    3. from the computer, start clean: clean boot instructions

    4. download and install the printer here: printer install file

    5 return to clean boot instructions and allow the start of programs.

    Note: the security program you have on your computer may be detecting the printer as a threat. Try looking through the settings in this program to add the printer to the list 'allow' so that he knows that it is safe.

    You can also try installing the printer using a different method, such as if you are installing wireless, try USB and then convert the USB wireless when you have completed the installation.

    If you have any questions let me know the details. Good luck!

    Hit the "accept as Solution" if we reached a solution and the "thumbs up" to say thank you for my help.
