HP Deskjet D1420 lost the software disk

I have a printer Deskjet D1420 here that I had probably about 10 years now, so it is certainly not in warranty. I recently had to plant the office it was connected to caused by a virus and was unable to save all the information that was on it. Today, I went to reinstall my printer and realized that I have more the software disk that is needed to accomplish the task. Is it possible to reinstall the printer without the disk?

Thank you much for the help!

What operating system? You can download the driver for HP here supported operating systems.  Select your operating system and then download the driver and applicable updates.  Do not connect the pritner to PC up to be instructed by the installation program.

Access the site of the manufacturer of the webcam (Logitech, etc.) > get your Webcam model number > and then the operating system > download and install the drivers/software for this.

  • DeskJet 3632: Installing the software with the IPad

Hi all, I just bought a deskjet 3632, I do not have a PC or laptop, so I can't install the software on the disk.

    I have an iPad,

Please could you guide me through the steps of the installation (if possible) I've done a major boo boo, I bought the HP1512, not even give it a second thought that it would not be wireless.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi kee,.

Download and use the HP AiO Printer application to set up your printer on your wireless network If you have router:

    http://support.HP.com/RS-en/document/c03561640

Open the app and click Add a new printer, and then follow the instructions on the screen.

Note: f you can't find the name of the printer with the "setup" from the list of WiFi from your iPad, reset the printer settings by pressing on and now the buttons cancel and wireless on your printer for 3 seconds, then turn on the printer and make sure the WiFi switch on the printer flashes, otherwise press the WiFi button, and it starts flashing.

Then follow the steps in the article to print and scan, so you can use AirPrint to print from your iPad:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c02623193

If you have a router, connect directly to the printer using WiFi Direct, as shown below:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/product/HP-DeskJet-ink-advantage-4510-e-all-in-one-printer-series/5285997/model/5383027/document/c04090221/

If you need to find the WiFi Direct password, press the Information (i) and the WiFi Direct () buttons to print a sheet with WiFi Direct name and the password, the same steps apply to print using AirPrint and scan using HP AIO remote.

    Hello!

Are you sure it's the recovery disk?
What is the content of the CD if you find Windows to display the contents of the CD/DVD?

These messages appear normally if the CD is noisy and so it can t be read properly or in the worst cases the CD/DVD drive is faulty and should be replaced. :(

I lost the dvd recovery-. -.
Is there a method to recover? as acers Alt + f10 recover menu?

    Thanks for your help :)

    Hello

You need the recovery disc, either the clean Microsoft Windows disk in order to install the operating system gain.
L30 being a little older, I doubt that you can order the recovery disk
That's why you need a Microsoft Windows CD!
You will need to buy this CD if you are not the owner of the Microsoft Windows CD.

    Welcome them

  • How can I move from Vista Home Premium to Windows 7 hp? Is it better to buy the software disk or download the software?

My Hp Pavilion Elite M9340F desktop PC was the best computer I've ever owned five computers desktop and portable three. Not only use the personal media drive Bay and two bays of lightscribe disc, I upgraded the video card and the power supply because I run also three external hard drives more (which actually a total of six hard drives run continuously).  I want to spend all or just possibly the main hard drive and Windows 7 Home Premium personal multimedia hard disk.  Is it better to buy the disc or download the software?  In addition, how is it difficult to make the switch?  Even with good backups, I have heard horror stories of losing part or all of the files or have things so scrambled that it is almost impossible to find what you are looking for.  ANY help will be greatly appreciated.  Thank you, Mr. w. Dillon * address email is removed from the privacy *.

    Hello

It's always a good idea to have a paper copy of a disc (for resettlement and repairs).

And Yes, backup all your data as 'can' happen during an upgrade that is supposed to be easy.

This is a very good guide for what you want to do:

Make sure you go from Vista 32 bit to Windows 7 32 bit to be able to do an upgrade.

«How To Upgrade from Vista to Windows 7 Edition Home Premium»

    http://www.howtogeek.com/HOWTO/6892/how-to-perform-an-upgrade-from-Vista-to-Windows-7/

    And follow these steps first:

Go to the HP website and see if Windows 7 drivers are available for your make and model computer / laptop.

    http://WWW8.HP.com/us/en/support-drivers.html

If this is not available, Windows 7 will not properly work for you.

Run the "Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/en-US/Download/details.aspx?ID=20

Check if your specifications are compatible for Windows 7:

    "Windows 7 system requirements"

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/products/system-requirements

"Windows 7 Compatibility Center" for software and hardware:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/Windows/compatibility/Windows-7/en-us/default.aspx

    Windows 7 upgrade paths:

    http://TechNet.Microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd772579 (v = ws.10) .aspx

And the Microsoft Store where you can get an idea of the price of Windows 7:

    http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msstore/en_US/list/CategoryID.50726100

For other questions about installing Windows 7, there is a Forum specifically for that because it is the Forum of Installation of Vista, you're in.

    http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Forum/Windows_7-windows_install?page=1&tab=all

    See you soon.

I have 2 questions that I can't seem to get a response to or able to get am get hold of someone who can answer / solve them eventually.

I have PS CS3. I want to install it on my new laptop, but the drive keeps getting an error indicating that something is damaged. I know that the drive at least worked, because I installed it on my old computer. the disc itself according to me is physically broken I see cracks in the Center. I don't know how it happened its just never been in a case other than the time that I have loaded on my old computer. Is there a way I can get the software again? a new disc or a download?

My second problem is that how can I disable the PS from my old computer that was originally on without actually get on this computer. It crashed some time ago and all the top so that it is history and I was never able to get back. So even if I find a way to get the software I still must be able to get a key open for her but she can't disable another computer because the other computer no longer exist.

    What can I do?
