  I just had to reset my Toshiba Windows 7 laptop to factory settings, I backed everything up to an external hardrive beforehand.   Normally you get factory settings if you are using the Toshiba recovery disc. It will restore the pre-installed Windows version that came with your laptop.

  If you have Windows 7, you can t create a Toshiba Recovery disk. Only possible on what s preinstalled Windows from Toshiba, but if you install your own copy, you can create such a floppy.
