HP dv6 7304se envy

Can I change / update the graphics card for the computer laptop hp dv6 7304se envy?

Your ' very welcome e.

All you have to do is to read the service manual and to find the procedure to upgrade or replace the video card.

You won't find a procedure to do so.

This is because it is not a replacement.

    Hello

Your language is good enough, don't be sorry

Your Support page is not a listed Intel graphic driver. Your laptop came with 64-bit Windows 8 & I guess you clean installed Windows 7 64 bit, right?

Your laptop has Intel/NVIDIA switchable graphics system. In this case, you can install the Intel graphics driver first & then NVIDIA driver HP supports the page. for example,.

You can try this graphics driver Intel Intel directly. Download, save & install it. Restart the system.

Then download, save & install the NVIDIA graphics driver. Reboot the system after installation of finishing.

Check whether the problem is resolved.

  • HP DV6 7210 Envy - we: I think I ordered the wrong part... She will still work?

The fan from the CPU on my laptop HP ENVY DV6 dead recently. I ordered a replacement, and it arrived yesterday. I don't check the part number pretty well. I ordered this part:

    HP Part # 682060-001

And I have an AMD A8 APU on the machine, with graphics of APU, which, according to my research, the type of UMA (but not the number of right-hand side for this particular brand of the processor fan).

Will it still work or if I need to order the right part? The reason I ask is: what could be so different between these two kinds of fan? In addition to the speed or shape?

I need this laptop repaired as soon as possible, because I want it to work when I leave for a vacation in a week and a half. I ordered this fan for a Chinese company, and it took two weeks to get [!]. Is there another place I could buy one? As directly from HP?

You ordered the Intel version. They are similar, but not exactly the same thing. I suggest using google image for two part numbers and requires special attention and you'll see that screw hole patterns are likely different. If this is not the case, one that you ordered will fit the holes on your motherboard and fits into the air holes, so I say use the thing.

  • HP dv6 7210us ENVY: ENVY Hp dv6 7210us motherboard

My computer beeps at me almost whenever I'm working on it.  It's a beep distinctive high pitch and then a serious tone.  I also sometimes hear a click, but I don't remember if it's before, during or after the beeps (I think it was after the second beep).  Does anyone know the beep codes for the card mother (682180-501)?  Thank you

Hello GLavergne... I'm sorry that you are having this problem with your ENVY dv6 7210us.

As has been pointed out by Hüffer, these codes only rejects BIOS during power upward.  In this case, I don't think that the BIOS and hardware support beep codes - only blink codes.  You can see by visiting http://www.hp.com/go/techcenter/startupand clicking through for laptops - LEDs blink or computer page will beep.

As you indicate that you are using the computer when it is happenning, you have exceeded BIOS in Windows.  Something in your Windows environment is to launch the beeps at you.

I hope this helps.  Good luck!

  • Want DV6 - 7015CA: Envy DV6 - 7015CA keyboard

I just bought envy laptop DV6 - 7015CA renovated factory.  He came without knowing with an English keyboard.  The language is set to English so it types the correct characters in the right place but I hate the extra key to the left of the Z, the touch of left SHIFT and the return of key. I want to replace it with a standard American model keyboard.  I replaced the keyboard in an another DV6 desire last year, so I don't know the procedure.  I just want to know if I can replace it because it uses a software driver to remap the keys, and if yes, what keyboard model should get.

I love the computer and played with tears the back of an old... it is still functional and in use and replace the keyboard in there with a standard keyboard.  But I don't like tearing it unnecessarily if I can get just another keyboard to put in it.  It doesn't have the backlite and I prefer to replace it with a backlit version.  Difficult to back out when you get used to one.

Also, if I replace it I need to do anything with the drivers to make it default to English characters?

Thanks for any information you can provide.

If you install this OS will map just the keys correctly that you already have the English language.

Otherwise just set the language and entry into English:

  • notebook dv6 restored envy and windows 8 not be loading not I don't have disks

I bought a laptop HP dv6 want used with Windows 8.  The person I bought was not to remove his password or fingerprint scan, I have been unable to reach (I bought out of State).  I did some research and found the best thing to do was restore complete system - which i followed the instructions and made.  I don't have the original driver disc.

I am now in a loop of contant, where he arrives with the first password which successfully, I have changed but want to remove.  When it starts to load the administrator that is in a constant loop of Windows didn't load correctly. Restart the computer.  And I fo around and around, I tried everything I found here and many other bulls and still I am unable to make it work.

I have a Windows 7 disc, but I'm afraid to even try because I was told that resetting to the factory settings would work and it doesn't I don't want to do more damage.

I noticed that the date was born 00/00/0000 say I'm not sure if it of part of the problem or not

  • Dv6-7300sa envy: Envy HP dv6-7300sa eGPU

    Hello

I was doing some research for some time the possibility to connect an external GPU to my laptop.

The solution I found is an adapter EXP GDC beast/Ares 7.0

    http://www.Amazon.com/laptop-external-PCI-E-graphics-card/DP/B00Q4VMLF6

    http://www.banggood.com/exp-GDC-laptop-external-PCI-E-graphics-card-p-934367.html

It uses a mini PCI-E slot. I hope my laptop model only has one slot mPCIe, I'll have to withdraw my wifi card and connect the adapter it.

My point is: I surfed on a few forums and found information that some HP laptops have a whitelist supported wifi cards in the bios, it prohibits the user to use any other material, except those in the list. Another day I discovered the forums of HP dv6t 7300 isn't a white list. But my computer laptop dv6, not dv6t.

I would like to know for sure before I buy adapter, if there is a white list in the bios of my computer laptop or not.

Thanks for the help in advance.

Do not. It will not work. The slot of a WiFi on laptops HP is dedicated to wireless cards and anything else will not work in there. It is not connected to the video bus so a video card will not work. The thing that circulate on youtube is a scam. If you read the fine print on the Web site for the manufacturer of this device, he explained that a computer laptop mini-pci is a bandwidth of 1 x and a video card needs x 8 or x 16. Even if you have a picture of him you would get enough performance to run games.

  • HP dv6-7245 Envy: bluetooth

I want to HP dv6-7245 and my bluetooth on my laptop to connect to my mobile phone from windows 8, but not my lg mini hi fi system bluetooth ready too. Help, please!

    Hi @Sactownlegend

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I understand that you are having problems with a BLuetooth device, but others are working.

This would indicate that the problem is not directly the Bluetooth or wireless on laptops, but more likely a problem with the LG stereo system, or a need for drivers for it.

But just in case, you can visit this page:
