  Recently, I upgraded to win 10 (64-bit) Home from 8.1 to win.

  We have a 8470w (XT908UT) computer laptop Elitebook with the screen on the laptop does not.

  Do us get the display on an external monitor but not on the laptop to display itself.

  Check the display settings of the control panel and Device Manager, the external screen is present while the computer screen is not.

  We have unplugged every unnecessary internal element for display (same HDD, keyboard and trackpad)), problem persists

  We changed 2 motherboards, 2 screens and card 1 gfx. Still the same problem persists.

  After some research in the service manual and hp partsurfer.

  It seems that we have received a gfx NVIDIA instead of one card

  Gfx ATI card. The service manual says its compatible but not. Partsufer mentions only the gfx ATI card when the laptop

  PartNumber is submitted.

  the display is now correct.

• HP elitebook 6930p wifi works does not after imaging system

  I recently created an image of a hp elitebook 6930p and cloned it, when I noticed that the wifi does not work (although he was working at some point before I start Imaging). If I use an ethernet connection, internet works fine.

  What else can I do to fix this?

  Have you checked HP Connection Manager?

• EliteBook 1020: External keyboard does not work in the form of Bitlocker

  We had a few HP 1020 and 1040: models recently, and all have the same question. When the laptop is connected, the external keyboard does not work in the form of Bitlocker. It works in the BIOS and in Windows itself, but not in Bitlocker.   If the bios is up to date, I would look at the BIOS settings. I think that Fast Boot is enabled in your case, this may cause usb devices not to see in the stadium that BitLocker requires

  I wonder if your system is an upgrade (Windows 8 for Windows 8.1); There is no a SimplePass program listed for the OS Windows 8.1.  Upgrades can be tricky - SimplePass runs very well on a system upgrade, and then - poof!  Not-so-good.  IF your OS is an upgrade, the following may or may not be as useful - however, we invite you to take a look at the following and I hope it helps.

  Open the file > click Download > click 'open in Adobe Reader.

• EliteBook 8540p: various components does not not on EliteBook 8540p

  Hi, I have a 8540p here, and I just installed Windows 7 pro 64-bit with Service Pack 1. Many components of the laptop will not work:

  Broadcom Wireless network adapter

  Ethernet RJ-45 port

  DisplayPort

  Audio out / headphone

  and potentially others I have not yet checked

  A few things work as a couple of usb drives and the dvd player.

  I can't have the computer automatically search for drivers online since I cannot connect to the internet and have not had the chance of finding me drivers. In addition, I don't know if it's a totally separate issue.

  From what you have posted, you must install the audio driver, applicable graphics driver (Intel or Nvidia), driver ethernet wireless driver (are you sure that your laptop has a broadcom wireless card?  Most of the EliteBook come with Intel wireless cards).

• EliteBook 8570w: laptop battery does not display a proper load

  Hi, I had this Elitebook 8570w for about 3 months now and have taken excellent care of it (and the battery), but the battery is facing up.

  This problem just started today. The indicated battery charge is not correct. It says it has, say, 70%, but stops because the battery is too low.

  When I plug in and turn on the back, it displays the correct percentage, but as soon as I unplug it the percentage starts show wrong again.

  I tried reinstalling the driver, but it has not solved the problem. Right, it is said it is 79%, but I know it should be about 20 to 40%.

  I have a problem with my touchpad. His work not at all...

  -High Doubleclicking on the left
  -Reinstalled the synaptic drivers (I used this driver)
  -Windows update
  -The Device Manager and clicked on "upadte pilot."

  Info:
  -L'option touchpad in Control Panel > mouse > 'Synatics' is missing. TouchStyk of Synaptics PS/2 Port1 shows, but there is no option for the touchpad.
  -The thing in the middle of the keyboard and external mouse works as well. Buttons with the touhpad works.

  According to the message that you have recently published, I want to confirm that this could be a hardware problem and the cover must be replaced. I highly recommend you Contact HP support by phone to get help to get your Notebook diagnosed and repaired by an authorized HP Certified Engineer

  I have a complete clone of the drive C on the SSD. I don't have the HP_TOOLS partition and the hidden partition on the SSD recoverty.

  Nope. If it were, it would not work without them. Check and see if you can get into diagnostics UEFI tapping F2 you power up. I would check that. No need to run the computer, but you never miss it until you need it if you have a possible hardware problem. There is a program downloaded UEFI, you can install if necessary. There is no download Windows 10 but UEFI 8.1 Windows should work:

  I have a 6930p which was the model that preceded the 8440p and there is a black band with a few icons lit above the keyboard and mine has a blue icon wireless.  If I touch that, it becomes orange which means that the wireless is turned off.
