HP Envy 100 D410a can't see mac apple printer so don't scan at him

I installed the software from the disc supplied and all functions of work outside the mac function analysis. He couldn't get any computer to scan to. I use a wireless through a router connection cable Netgear WGR614. My mac is a Mac OS 10.6.6 MacBook Pro 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 4 GB RAM.

I followed the HP Web site suggestions and uninstalled the HP, dumped preferences software, repair disk permissions and reinstalled the correct software from the Web site. I also got an update from HP printer via the software update later and gave the mac and printer an IP address manually.

The scan-back function found my mac but the software scan-back on the mac went into a loop, and I had to force quit. I decided to reboot the wireless router, the mac and the printer but the printer is returned to a State where he could not find the mac.

Discussion on the HP site suggests that PCs must be set to "Enable analysis for computer" whenever they are turned on or awakened from his sleep. It notes, however, that it is not necessary for macs, that it happens automatically.

Please can someone help? Thank you very much.

Hi Randy.

Thank you very much for your advice.

I followed the road of:

Full CV uninstall-> restart mac-> add a printer in the preferences and download the latest Apple HP drivers for 10.6-> complete HP drivers from the HP website.

The scan for mac worked worked the first time.

Amazing it is really as simple as the order in which the different drivers are installed. Sounds simple in hindsight, but there was no way to guess that at time of initial installation.

I am very grateful to you - it was driving me crazy!

  • where can I see the photos 'print screen '?

where can I see the photos 'print screen '?

They are in the Clipboard. If you paste into a paint program (type mspaint into Start - Run all programs - accessories -) or a text editor (Start - All Programs - Accessories - Wordpad). Also see the tool captures to capture the screen (Start - All Programs - Accessories - Snipping Tool).

Copy the screen [Prev |] Next | Content]

PRT Scn Copies the entire screen to the Clipboard as a graphic or the screen with the mouse if you are using multiple monitors. Use MS Paint to paste the picture. It is also known under the nameof Office Snap.

According to the key parameters of Prt Scn tab Misc properties of a Dos program, a program back can still print on printer Prt Scn keyed.

ALT + Prt Scn Copies the active window to the Clipboard in the form of a graph. This is also known as theWindows Snap.
CTRL + Prt Scn Copies the entire virtual screen when you are using multiple monitors in the Clipboard in the form of a graph. Unlike the other two screens to Print that precedes this one doesn't seem to have a name, or if so, it is not listed in the header of the window files.
CTRL + Alt + key number minus button Copies the active window to the Clipboard of remote desktop in the form of a graph (same as thePrt Scn locally)
CTRL + Alt + number Pad Plus key Copies the entire screen to the Clipboard in office to distance in the form of a graph (same asAlt + Prt Scn locally)

Such programs that Outlook Express do not allow paste not web graphs. Paste into MS Paint andrecord under a web graphics. If the screenshot by email sending save it as a jpeg, gif or png file before sending (in MS Paint, file - save as, and then choose a format in Save As Type). The color isn't usually important for the screenshots is a way to make a really small file save as a GIF (this reduced to 256 colors), and then save the Gif to Png (lossless and better than Gif compression) or Jpeg (lossy).

To take screenshots of the menus in the current use of the window the Alt key and hold it down during the entire procedure. ALT + a touch of letter to access the menus, then the keysdirection to move the selection, then Print Screen. Release Alt.

  • ENVY 100 D410a failed AirPrint

How can I set up my printer to have a different printing defect, when a print job is coming from my iPhone 4 via AirPrint vs the default I have configured for e-mail.

Nope.  It is designed to be an interface for quick and easy printing for printing through your mobile device without having to install software, etc.  You might want to try HP iPrint.  It is a free application that will allow you a greater amount of customization.

  • updated to 38.2.0 and now I can't see the messages. I don't see the list of folders in the left pane.

I only see the list of folders in the left pane, but the messages are not displayed. It receives without problem, I can't see the emails.

  • I configured my printer (envy 100 D410A) online, but I can't eprint for my printer.

I have send an email to my e-mail address of hp & it does not work.

    Hi sbcdtc,

Try to check the desire for updates. Go to 'Setup' > "Web Menu" > "Product updates" > "check for updates". If there is an available update then let it install. After the update is installed the printer restarts itself. Once she comes back to life, search for the product updates once more to ensure that there is not another. Then try to send an e-mail to the address printer again. Also, you can check the status of your ePrint on www.eprintcenter.com jobs

Although I work for HP, my messages and responses are my own opinion and not of HP.

If I have solved your problem, please do not hesitate to provide laurels and make sure that you mark this thread as provided solution!

  • Problem scanner HP HP CN517A - HP ENVY 100 - D410a

The scanner makes a horrible noise when I turn on the printer as if scanning bar is working, but cannot cross the whole bed scan.  I can print from my PC without any problem but can not scan or copy.

If you can not make a copy of the standalone printer, without the computer, it's a hardware problem. You will need to contact the HP Support (1800-474-6836).

My office is currently using an HP Officejet Pro 8600 more. We are in a reassessment of our printing needs, and I would like to know how many prints we currently print / printed on the printer if possible to see what can be our needs.

On my old desktop Ricoh printer, he told us how many color and b & w prints how much we have per month. If there is a function similar to this for HP it please let me know.

    Kind regards

  • Can not see faxes sent in Windows Fax and Scan after the migration of Windows XP

I have recently updated from Windows XP to Windows 7. After the upgrade, I don't see my faxes from Windows XP. I used to have a few of them, but now it is empty after the upgrade. I was able to find the actual files of the NT\MSFax\SentItems C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows but it does not appear when you open the program. Does anyone have a solution for this?

I was able to find similar problems on other forums, but their corrections does not apply on mine. It was the first part of the file name for the current user under HKEY_USERS.

Which edition of Windows 7 you are using?  Ultimate may be able to use Virtual PC (XP Mode).  Editions can use other Virtual Machines but require an XP version under license and unused, while which comes free with XP Mode.

This warranty covers the gambit set of VMS in the 'Home' versions if you want to have a look.  Of course you will need a licensed copy of XP to install and run in any of them.

  • Unable to get web services reactivated on Envy 100 D410

My envy 100 D410a was once working with ePrint, but has not been used for a while.  I've recently switched to connected HP and had to re - register the printer.  The news to save the printer would not print.

After trying a few times, I removed the web services and then tried to turn it back on, but every time I get the message "problem connecting to the web services server.

I have the Group of experts through the troubleshooting to restart the printer, restart the router, nothing helps.  I have currently set an IP address manually and can print wireless via a laptop, but not ePrint and no web service.

I tried to configure the servers manual DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 (via the printer IP address URL), but whenever I try, I get an error:

    An error has occurred. (wipv4Page-400)
    Click 'OK' to go back

    The current firmware is: SLM1CN1039HR.

SOLVED!   This can be closed.  I did a factory reset, but not on the tab network/section.  Once I did this and restarted the printer, web services could be reactivated.  I can now access the printer via HPEPrint.
