  After the last Notebook HP system BIOS updated (version F.35Ap1), brightness (fn2 and fn3) keys are no longer works and the brightness is stuck at 100%, although under the battery in the taskbar icon, it says 0% and I can't change that.   I could solve the problem. I had to download the lates graphics driver from the HP Web site directly. For some reason that this new driver is not in the HP Support Assistant updates.

  I would use minitool partition manager to clone the disk partition & 100 MB windows C if your installation.

  Works well in general & used for this task a lot. Use the partiton options rather than SSD clone will enable driving a complete copy of all of the source to the target SSD. Don't delete anything since! TB until what you tested SSD clone A1.

  My new HP Envy 700 - 215xt came with Win 7 Home and I've updated to 8.1 Pro Win.  In control compatibility before the upgrade, the software said that the bluetooth device driver was not compatible with Win 8 and forced me to uninstall it, I did.

  Now everything has been migrated and works fine, except for the part of Broadcom wireless adapter bluetooth.  The WiFi worked very well.  In Device Manager, I see the card wifi Broadcoom BCM43142 under the heading, network cards and I see a BCM43142A0 listed in the other peripheral topic, and it shows that there is no driver installed for him.  Try to uninstall/reinstall, it is nothing and a Windows search for a driver comes empty also.

  It looks like all the drivers, specifications and manuals are missing from the pages of support again.

  This happened earlier in the week also.

  Another Member of the forum has reported the problem to administrators forum, which will be in touch tour HP, but since I am not employed by, nor do I represent HP, I don't know how long it will take to restore the missing data to the support pages.

  Whether the weekend will not help much either.

  It seems that some research solved the problem.

  I finished updating the remaining graphics drivers using a third party service, and things stopped crashing.

  In addition, the question was actually with the driver for the monitor, which was something I did not installed (PnP-monitor). I swapped it to the generic PnP monitor, that solved the problem.
