Yes, it should work without any problems.  I would measure the rear plate i/o on the front of the case to ensure that it enters the space, however.  I would measure the rear plate i/o on the front of the case to ensure that it enters the space, however.  I suggest to buy an EVGA card.  They make very good products and very good Technical Support (1-888-880-3842).

Here is the video card manufactured by EVGA.  It shouldn't harm your system somehow.  However, if you have trouble with the installation, you can contact their Technical Support (1-888-880-3842) or online.  They were very useful for me.  Read the reviews to see what users have to say about it.  As you can see, there are a lot of comments and appreciation 5 eggs.  You can't do better.

  • HP Envy 700-214: Message "locking of the power button.

I am getting an intermittent box appears which says "Power Button lockout".

Tour: HP Envy 700-214 with two display monitors

    Monitor 1: HP 2010 (DVI)

    Monitor 2: HP L1950g (VGA)

    Windows 8.1

Periodically this box appears on the monitor 1.  Sometimes the monitor turns off.  When I turn it back on, I'll get a surveillance area of the State, which opens by saying:

    DVI: assets

    VGA: No Signal

    1600 x 900 60 hz

Which is curious since the monitor that is upward is the DVI monitor.  However, this box disappears after a few seconds.

Is the problem with my video card in the computer, or is it with the monitor?

[ETA]  I stopped and restarted the computer and the monitor and held the key monitor more than 10 seconds, as suggested in other posts found here on this site. [/ETA]

Thank you very much.  Please let me know if you need more information.

OK, so I have a HP ENVY 700-214 (plug here: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04100558 ) and I'd like to get a new graphics card that is compatible with my setup. Everything is wxactly the way I bought it. I want a graphics card that will be easy to install, but also the best in the price range of 200 to 350 dollars. Ive been looking around, but don't can't find anything that tells me what I want to know. Thank you for your time, any input would be apreciated.

    @DudeSame, welcome to the forum.

This is a great little video card that will fit easily in your case and give you good performance.  However, you need to check to see if power supply (PSU) in the computer unit has a connector 6 extra pins.  Most maps in the price range you want to require at least a connector, 6 or 8 pins or both.  At present, it is out of stock.  You may be able to find an another etailer.  Read the reviews to see what users have to say about it.

  • EVGA GeForce GTX 660 Ti

I have a HP e9180t desktop computer and I'm looking to upgrade to an EVGA GeForce GTX 660 Ti. This video card is compatible with my desktop computer?

    Thank you

    Hello:

Unless someone actually installed one in this model, it is difficult to say with certainty at 100%.

However, based on the specifications of the PC should be, because the specifications state that the PC has a P/S 460W.

Just check to make sure that food has two connectors 6-pin PCI Express (PCIe), because it is a requirement for the card.

  • HP Pavilion p6-2102ed: MSI GeForce GTX 660 on my HP Pavilion p6-2102ed work?

    Hi all

    I have a HP Pavilion p6-2102ed with H-CUPERTINO2-H61-uA TX motherboard (Cupertino2).
I would like to enhance it with a MSI GeForce GTX 660.
Is the big question now: they both will work together?

I already read something on the power supply. The video card requires a six-pin plug connected to a power supply, which is not the p6-2102ed.
1: how to solve this? Do I have to buy an external power supply? If so, of what powersupply do you recommend? Or can I buy a cable (with six pins) and connect it to the power supply built in the p6-2102ed?

2: I read the MSI GeForce GTX 660 measure 260 mm long. According to me, it will fit in the case. So it will not be the problem I think.

3: the Bios will accept the new video card? Or what I need to adjust some settings in the Bios?

Here are all the questions that I can think of right now.
Please correct me if I wrote something wrong, and if you know the most important information, please tell me!

    Thank you for helping me.

    Hello

The NVIDIA GTX 660 should work in your PC if it has not been flashed with a UEFI BIOS update. You will need to check with MSI on this situation.  I have an EVGA GTX 660 and I did the flash of UEFI to my graphics card.  Find out what the return policy is before you buy.

The CX600 Corsair or CS650m would be an excellent choice for a diet.

    -------------------------------------

BTW - The NVIDIA GTX 660 is a map of excellent graphics for HP PC that do not run a 8 BIOS version.

  • Video card GeForce GTX 660 not detected by the motherboard Windows 7

I recently upgraded my PC with an Asus z97 - a motherboard and processor Intel i5 4. After the reinstallation of Windows 7, I was able to get a signal from my video card 660 geforce gtx for a few hours. After Windows install several updates, however, I am unable to use my video card without receiving an ENTRY NOT FOUND both of my monitors. My video card is also not appearing in Manager devices, or BIOS and use rather Intel HD Graphics. Cause of the undetected video card, I am unable to install the latest drivers for my card and I have no idea what to try next. I also made sure my current diet provides enough power for the card. Is powered without a doubt the map because the fans spinning, I'm positive that I've attached all required power cables, and the card is inserted completely into the motherboard. I tried all PCI-E ports in my motherboard, but it continues to not display. I tried to install the drivers manually, but the video card should be detected before this is possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    My specs:

    ASUS card mother Z97 - A

    Videocard GeForce GTX 660

    Intel i5 processor 4

    8 GB RAM

    700W ATX power supply

I should point out that I have tried almost every technical troubleshooting that I have met, with the exception of disabling Intel HD Graphics. I fear that if, due to there not being any trace of my video card in the BIOS and Device Manager, if I disable this will also lose signal from the motherboard of DVI and HDMI, ports that are what I currently use.

    Hello

As the graphics card is not detected by the motherboard, you will need to contact Asus for more help on this issue. You will need to check if the graphics card is detected in the BIOS or not, if not then contact the computer manufacturer is the right point of support.

  • Alienware M17X R4 - Nvidia Geforce GTX 660 M is dead

I was playing a game and poof... the computer off.  I rebooted and I was 800 x 600.  The computer works fine now, but it does not recognize my Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 M.  So I think he's dead.

I tried everything (drivers, BIOS, troubleshooting, waiting to see if she magically came back).  Nothing has worked.

I need to buy a replacement, but online is incomplete and a computer guy said only he could do was to China and would take at least two weeks.

    Reference Dell sells this replacement?

For the record, the system is out of warranty.

This is a good opportunity to upgrade you GPU at a GTX680 or if your confident enough to small drivers mods then a GTX780.

Dell will tell you the GTX780 is 'not validated for this system.

Their significance is they have refused to release the machine and identification of GPU NVIDIA and AMD codes so when the pilot checks "compatible devices" are back with a negative.

Easily fixed by modding the display driver to include your machine and GPU identification codes.

    Hello

I am looking to buy the GTX to my HP Envy 700-470NA 970. I also need a 600w PSU to use my current power supply (500w) would be risky.

My question is, I'll be able to replace the power supply on my desktop with the 600w Corsair? Well, just reliable and good quality PSU with 600W which can be compatible with my PC would be great.

Please provide a link to the PSU if possible. Thank you!

You are welcome.  Thank you for the additional information.

Yes, the cables should function properly.  Cards mothers HP have the ATX 24 power connector standard pins.  You could buy a modular power supply.  In this way, that you don't have to use all the cables that are not necessary.  This makes more space for good air circulation.

    Hello!

We recommend that you use the drivers from the Dell Support Web site, but if you want to upgrade to the latest NVIDIA driver I suggest you only do a fresh install of the driver as explained here.

I have an Optiplex 7010.  I installed a PSU Corsair AX760i and have let it run for a week check that the upgrade has not created a new problem.

Now, I am trying to install a Zotac GTX 660 Ti video card.  It seems that the new video card is recognized as the graphic edge generates a video signal is no longer, but there is also NO signal through connectors DVI 660 GTX.  I've checked the tension on 2 power connectors 6 pins for the video card and + 12v is here.  Any ideas?

    OK, I solved the problem.

I had to modify the following parameters of the BIOS for the GTX 660 Ti Board to operate.

    General

    Advanced startup options

    X Enable Legacy Option ROM

    Secure boot

    Secure Boot Enable

    X disabled

After making these two changes, the video card GTX 669 it works now.

The video Commission works today, a new BIOS option appeared in which I allowed, as follows:

    Video

    Multi-display

    Enable multi-display x

At this point, I have now loaded the drivers for the new graphics card and everything seems to not work as desired.

I also noticed from another forum that he had questions about the "SERR Messages" BIOS option, it is ACTIVATED in my machine.
