HP ENVY battery 6

I bought a new computer hp laptop ENVY 6 windows 8 on September 3, 2013. My battery gets charged very quickly from 95% to 100% and then performs very quickly from 100% to 95%.

What is the problem?

It depends on the programs running in the background. To check the functionality of the battery, run the battery of HP Support Assistant check to ensure that no problem material with the battery.

    Hello

I'm about to receive the Envy Touch laptop (HP Envy 17 t) but after ordering, I discovered that the battery is installed in the device and not easily moveable. I intend to have this laptop (like desktop computers) permanently plugged into the wall outlet.

What I've done in the past, I removed the battery, which is not an easy task in HP Envy 17 t. Any suggestion on how to extend the battery life without remove it.

I have posted several times on this topic: Chargers and batteries are now very intelligent, they know when to stop. The battery of my laptop 15 hp envy ts won't hold a charge. It works fine when connected to the charger but when removed, will stop. I have ran a battery test through the HP support assistant and ran a test of components. Each indicates that the battery is ok. But every time I take it off the charger of the battery, which says its at a decent price, the laptop will die instantly. I also checked the battery number and it is not outside the recall.

Hello! I hope someone can provide some guidance. I have seen a lot of useful information on these cards, especially on this issue, but I think mine is a bit tricky...

I bought a new HP Envy Monday (today is Wednesday) and I noticed that the battery is charged at 50% (the battery icon, when you go over it, says 50% load)

I found this curious, because I got the battery plugged for more than 8 hours.

I made sure the strings have been correctly connected, removed and added to the battery, etc.. I found some additional information and checked the battery HP using HP Support system, and he says that the battery must be replaced. This test is accurate? I have to really replace a battery for a laptop brand new?

Should I try another test before asking for a new battery? Thank you in advance for your help!

    Hello

It certainly seems that the machine comes with a defective battery, so my best advice would be to return the laptop (not only the battery) to the retailer you bought it and get a replacement.

  • HP dv6 Envy: battery, do not charge, the light goes blue/red then off

Slowly, the battery started not charging, the day before he arrived he was in charge, but that once plugged waiting a bit with it, or I have to turn it off and keep the adapter to plug again. In its sequel, the light is not on to signify the load and it does not charge. When the laptop is turned off and I plug in the power adapter, it goes to a blue light, red light, then in the same model, do not at all support. I wonder if there is a problem with the battery, solder or simply the motherboard itself. I tried a new power supply and took out the battery, when its plugged in without the battery, pressing the button power turn on turn on for a second, but it used entirely and the charging light will also turn off when it turns off, but immediately return to solid when its completely off with battery blue.

    Hi @ActingDemicky,

Do you have completely replaced the power adapter, power cord and I tried to plug different?

  • HP ENVY m7-u009dx: battery replacement Options?

I noticed how there is no Abu topic this nor any category on this issue.

I recently bought this laptop HP Envy m7-u009dx and realized that the battery is not external. I use this laptop on a daily basis and know that this laptop will die in a year or 2 because the battery is no longer good or is short on cycles.

If so, what are the options should I get the battery replaced/fixed? Because currently, I don't see any batteries this product online.  I don't know whether to return this laptop to the store or not.

I'd rather have an option of a spare battery to replace me myself, rather than ship it to HP company with chances of there being transport and forwarding accordingly constant damage.

I appreciate it if I can get a response. I love this new laptop, I don't want to waste a new one in 2 years.

  • Charging battery HP Envy x 2 problem

I started having problems with the secondary battery on my HP Envy x 2. I have for a few months now, and first of all, everything was fine. A couple of weeks, I started having intermittent warnings when I lit the envy. He said there was a problem with the calibration of secondary battery and it must be callibrated or possibly replaced. The problem is that even if it says this he sometimes shows that the battery has with full success and sometimes it isn't. It still does not appear to use the load sitting in the accumulator, it is intermittent, too. I have been using the battery calibration procedures and although the battery shows once again as a 100% load he always says that the battery must be callibrated.

    Ok.

Followthe troubleshooting procedures in this document from HP web. If you still have problems with the batteries \an\or load later, I suggest you Contact HP for warranty repair.

I'm very angry because I need to change the battery (security expited in January 2016) and in all the links of 1000 HP, I can't find the number. HP could make it more complicated, but there is no way.

At the end of the spare parts site https://parts.hp.com/ there is no battery number to buy. I need to buy the keyboard too, because there is missing it B... and I can't find my product number.

  • HP ENVY x 360-15-w102ns: HP ENVY x 360 battery still connected

    Hey there,

Please want to know if it's bad for the battery, grab the always trendy gear.

Whereas, in the HP ENVY x 360, the battery is integrated. If your computer is always plugged in, the battery is concerned with the passage of time (loss of life).

  • Displayport ENVY causes battery lose detection and performance max brightness

    I have a HP ENVY 17 - 3D was released in early 2012, running Windows 7.

It has 1 HDMI port and 2 additional display ports. The graphics card is ATI HD 7690 M XT and supports switchable graphics on the fly.

The processor chip is 2nd generation Intel Quad Core i7.

    Problem

When I use the displayport cable "Displayport to DVI" connector active, my battery would not be detected, and the brightness of the computer screen laptop builtin automatically tops out at 100%, without the possibility of reducing its brightness in my custom settings powerplan (100% light is bright for me). I recently started to use the displayport to send video clips as extended desktop to an old monitor LCD of Sony, which has instead of the latest HDMI DVI. The HDMI port has now been connected to the flat screen TV. Even if I converted the portable/DVI on the old Sony HDMI signal, and only a monstercable adapter-nothing fancy, I never lost the features. This started to happen when I started using the display port...

However, as soon as I return to the HDMI output that is unique to all monitors, my battery is still visible, and I can adjust the brightness of the screen through my powerplan again...

This problem is only apparent when I use display port...

Finally, the catalyst software is the original that came with the machine I can't update this because nothing else apparently takes in charge the switchable graphics and have had bad luck with the newer versions... If I'm wrong please let me know...

    What I try to do

Very simply, the laptop's HDMI port will connect directly to a TV dish 1080 p SAMSUNG. This image is simply a mirror of the laptops display, which is also the same resolution - 1080 p. The old Sony monitor simply connects to the Displayport now via an active adapter 'Displayport - to - DVI' to use the extended desktop.

Overall, it's just 1 screen flat TV cloned/updates mirrored on the laptops display in the same resolution (1080 p), and 1 smaller screen for the range of extended desktop. So 3 screens are light in total:

Laptop + SAMSUNG TV via HDMI direct (in mirror and identical - the two 1080 p resolution)

Monitor Sony via displayport using '-Displayport to DVI-' active adapter.

Everything else works fine - I just lost my battery and the ability to control my screen brightness, which is huge for us with power outages and have reduced the brightness...

If anyone has had this problem and what should I do?

    Any help appreciated...

    Thank you very much

    GIO

  • HP ENVY x 360: HP ENVY x 360 Win 8.1 battery plugged not removable, does not support

    HP dear supporters,

I have a HP ENVY x 360 laptop with Win 8.1 operating system. He writes that plugged in, not charging. This laptop has a non-removable battery. I read the forums and advice but neither solved my problem.

I tried to close, plug off, wait, plug in, turn on, without result.

I also tried to uninstal in Device Manager the baterries, then restart the laptop, without result.

I also tried the fix for the problem with HP Support Assistant, digitization of the battery and he writes that my battery is ok, but then "unknown".

I tried to download updates, no results due to "unknown".

I'm not able to solve the problem of my laptop and I wouldl ike to ask for your help.

    I await your response.

    Kind regards

    @zsofiaanna

    Thanks for posting,

If none of the latest articles helped.

The best thing you can do is to try with another adapter with the same power supply.
