  If you have run the test on the HARD drive in the Menu diagnosis (f2), try to run a test on the HARD drive in the Bios Menu as follows.

  Shut down the laptop.  Tap away at the esc you key start Notepad to open the Start Menu.  Select the BIOS ( f10 ) and under the Advanced or the Diagnostic tab, you should find the facility to conduct a test on the hard drive.  Post back with all the details of any error message.

• Laptop won't come from hibernation, all tried, please help!

  My Hp laptop will not be from hibernation. I tried all the things I read about the practice. Can someone at hp please indicate what is the next step? I removed the battery, put just on AC. Don't do the hard reset, which is held the power button increasingly used yet 15 sec (even on a min) come out of it. I above, psychic power, volume (orange light) wifi light also lights orange. The fan turns on, the CD-ROM drive does its thing, then the caps lock and block numbers start to Flash. I had let it over heat and stop, still nothing. Removed the battery from the clock, everything. I saw were people have replaced the motherboard and that did not work. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

  I think you have to send in a redesign or if not under warranty.  If it is under warranty, call HP for service.

  You can try the following.

  Shut down the laptop.  Tap away at f8 that you start the laptop to enter the Windows Recovery Console.  Use the arrow keys to select Safe mode and press ENTER.  If windows will load in this mode, on the Start Menu, click principally made programs, click Accessories, click System Tools and run the system restore.  Choose a restore point at least 24 hours prior to the issue of logon and then proceed to the restoration.  When you are finished, Windows will restart as normal in order to check if you can now connect correctly.

  Another option if the above does not help is as follows.

  Shut down the laptop.  Tap away at f8 that you start the laptop to enter the Windows Recovery Console.  Use the arrow keys to select "Start using last good known Configuration" and press ENTER.

  Have you tried to connect the laptop to a power adapter and then gently shake the power adapter connection to see if the power led blinks on and outside?

  Who will let you know if the problem is the connector of the DC adapter on the motherboard. They are not lacking.

  I Don t go to replace it cause it s not worth the monay.

  Have you tried a different memory location? On some PCs, you must have a Module of memory in the first place. Otherwise, it does not start.

  If this does not work, then the motherboard or video card might be faulty. Take it to a Service Center for repair.

  OK, I found the answer. It was a hard reset. Just hold the Start button for 20 seconds (or until it no longer flashes) then wait a bit and you can restart the laptop.

  A few days ago, when I got home, I found that my VAIO VPCF1290x of 3 years was dead. The battery indicator has been telling me to get a new battery, but I thought it would be enough for now.

  Last night so I was using my laptop it suddenly stopped without error or message. It was not overheating, as it is on for about 15 minutes. I could not reactivate afterwards. The charging light on like everything is normal. Battery was full and laptop was plugged.
