  We have set our own problem.  By accessing the printer web interface and clicking on "Configure device" then clikcing on the management of the paper. We put all paper handling options to "ANY."

• HP COLOR LASER JET CM1312 MFP: Print cartridge problems

  I loaded two cartridges with success, but with the third (CB541A - Cyan) I get the 'delete the shipping in the Cyan cartridge latch '. It IS deleted. I put the old cartridge and no problems, I tried again with the new and the same message appears. I tried to turn off the machine with the new cartridge in but nothing works.

  What should do?

  But not sure since the old one works, sounds like a faulty new cartridge. Consider a replacement.

  I just bought Laser Jet Pro 100 but have problems to do the installation despite trying several times.

  Initially, the installation seems to work very well and I was able to print out a few pages until I turned off the printer and turned back on again, the impression doesn't seem to work more.

  Attempts to re - install the printer also failed. The error message indicates that the installation takes too long and asked the facility to perform again.

  I get very frustrated for this printer. What should I do now?

  I would try a suggestion more. Could you try to install this printer on another computer. I want to see if the installation fails or not. If so, then I will help you. If not, then there are someone on this Windows 7 computer that blocks this facility to settle. Please post your results.

  I have a HP laser Jet 1100 s in perfect condition and I would continue to use it with my new laptop, but I need a conversion cable which would replace the connector to a USB connector 25 pins. Y at - it a possiblity that a cable like this is available and will work.

  Earlier made the conversion. That's what I did. I ordered a USB adapter cable female parallel printer DB for $5,46. This allowed me to use the original printer with smart card cable. I plugged the usb connector on my laptop and windows 8 load the driver and the printer works like a charm. Can be a turn on the way to solve the problem, but it works. I want to thank you for your comments.

• How to get a hp 4600 Color Laser jet print on a vista or Windows 7 64 - bit OS PC which does not have a parallel port connection?

  My hp 4600 color Laser Jet uses a parallel cable to connect to a Windows PC. When I had XP as the OS it worked fine. But now after the upgrade to Vista or Windows 7 64-bit OS it will not work and my PC does not even recognize it when it is plugged into the PC with the parallel to USB cable that worked so well before. So, what should I do to get the PC to recognize the Hp 4600 and have it printed again as before? (My first plan is to try to get the printer to work by hooking up through Wireless.   According to the HP support site, there are drivers available for Vista and Windows 7 If you're lucky it. Download the appropriate drivers for your computers. According to the information of product from HP, this printer can be connected directly to the network by an ethernet cable. I don't see where it has wireless capability, but in any case ethernet is preferable for printer connections if possible.

  Connect the printer directly to your router or switch connected to your router and assign a static IP address outside the range the router DHCP. Then, install the drivers that you got from the HP website for your operating system.

• Print Page of cleaning HP Color Laser Jet CP1215 problem

  I have a HP Color Laser Jet CP1215 connected to a Windows7 64 bit operating system. The printer prints the shadows cast on the left and right of the paper edges, but also the light shadows in the printing.  I saw the HP Toolbox for my printer and tried to print a cleaning page.  All I get is a text box indicating that the printer could not be accessed, even if it will calibrate and print a test page. I need different drivers or is there another solution?

  The driver may be corrupted not allowing all the features work.

  There could be a problem with the toner or the fuser unit causing this problem.

  Make sure the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet and the USB cable is connected directly to the computer. Try running Cleanup again.

  If you still have problems you can uninstall and reinstall the latest version of the software.

  HP Laser Jet 1022 Windows 7 64 bit, this printer has functioned well for my needs until the update of your driver 28/12/12.  If I restore my system before this update of the printer works fine, but of course, every morning after the updates of windows, I get the message "current printer is not available, select another ' when I try to put in place it does not do.  Also just a side note, this is my desktop printer and computer, but I have a HP Laser Jet 1020 at home with windows XP and have not had any problems.  I can't every day system restore and losing all the other critical updates, please help

  This driver issue affects many of our customers, and now we are still working on a permanent solution for it.

  To avoid having to perform a full system restore every day in the meantime, you can change your preferences Windows Update prompts you to pick updates to install, then uncheck the update for printer drivers.  It is much more time that to rely on the automatic update, it will allow all your other device drivers be updated properly all by allowing you to maintain the working version of the printer drivers.  You can also choose to simply turn off the automatic update of all drivers, but windows 7 does not allow to choose which drivers updated and who ignores, meaning that you would have from time to time manually updating your device drivers too keep completely up to date.

  I was watching a few just referb cartridges today.  I had two in my hand and spoke to another technician who said that society referb clean very important he should which is deep inside.  I tried to google your exact cartridge to make sure that I was looking at a similar to yours and I couldn't not all the images out of the box, so I'll just describe what I saw and can let me know if yours does not:

  So I had this little 'flap' on the bottom of the toner cartridge and when I pull it slightly back and forth, I see the drum.  It is what can be easily replaced (by buying a new toner) If you see what looks like one white line - in other words damaged.  By just trying a new or used cartridge, you can solve the problem.  Although the referb may have a new drum in there, we're components deeper inside, which could cause problems like that, but to answer your question directly... eh, I doubt it, but you get about 60/40 chance of getting a good or bad toner when you get a refurbished.

  Research on the age of your printer, it's probably just some general maintenance reason so if you get a new toner and you you have the line again, look at my link and in this list, you will see a merger that's going to be the next thing I would check.  Pretty easy to change I guess.  I hope that answers your question.

  When I try to install drivers for HP Laser Jet M1319MFP for win7 64 bit, in installation process half collapse. I tried on different computers with the same operating system, and even--> the collapse of the installation. Pls help.

  Fix adding scanner.

  After you have added printer (as I wrote above), you restart. In devices and printers, you see a yellow triangle to the printer. You do a right click on properties and equipment, part you see 3 drivers with yellow triangles, select one, then click on properties, then inside new window driver click on update driver and to find the driver on your computer, select the folder where you have unpacked hp_LJM1319_Full_Solution - v5.0.exeand the computer folder use driver. Repeat on the other marked with a yellow triangle and everthing works - scanner and fax.

• HP Color Laser Jet 4600: Can I change my HP 4600 to print wireless?

  I have an old HP Color Jet 4600 Laser printer - it prints only with the old parallel, no usb connector.

  I have 2 laptops at home, both computers running Windows 10 (64-bit) and an iMac with Yosemite.

  I know that I can buy a USB cable to parallel, but is there a product I can buy to put my printer in a wireless? I would like the opportunity to have all 3 computers can print to it.

  I'm thinking there must be some cards that I can install for this...

  Get the 620n, they should be pretty cheap on ebay. I understand Minnesota computers sells also reasonable.

  Never use the 615n, they were famous, but not for the right reasons. I've replaced dozens of this model.

  A 610n is acceptable, but they were not as reliable as the 620n.

  I want to connect my Laser Jet 4100N directly to my laptop which only has USB and LAN ports.

  The printer has a parallel port and a LAN port.

  I have access to WiFi internet, the modem is located in another room.

  I have a CAT 5/6 connecting cable.

  I get the 192.168.1.8 IPv4 address for my computer by typing IPCONFIG at the command prompt.

  I connected the crossover between my laptop and the printer cable.

  Turn on the printer lit up an indicator on the LAN port on the printer.

  In the menu devices & printers, I added a new option of "using TCP/IP" printer and 192.168.1.8 provided IP address.

  The computer search TCP/IP but end in nothing.

  Please help me to communicate with the printer.

  You try to use your wireless PC address to print with a wired device.

  Your PC has two network adapters, they are not in fact cards, they are integrated into the motherboard and but I will refer to them as cards for simplicity, or I could call ports.

  When you find the IP address of your PC you are probably finding an IP address wireless, but since you're wired card has never been configured statically and is not connected to a network there is no ip address.

  What I would do would be statically configure the IP address of the port wired on your PC, & I would something like 192. 168 2. 2, with a default gateway of 192. 168 2. 10, & a subnet mask of 255. 255 255. 0 and don't worry because you do not connect you to the largest network on the DNS servers. Then I go to the printer and change the network settings and give it a 192 IP address. 168 2. 10 and its default gateway I would set it to 192. 168 2. 2 and the subnet mask would be the same that you set on the PC.

  Regarding the process of search for the cable network on your PC etting sand information in map, I think you need to do some research of the internet based on your operating system. I mean version of Windows operating system. Windows 7 would be different from Windows 8 in perhaps a few minor details.

  The reason why I change that a number from 1 to a game in your IP address is that it puts the port wired into a network separate from the wireless port, in my view, that will keep your PC of confusion as to which port uses to communicate with the printer.

  And back to another part of the discussion, the default gateway of a network printer on a small network is often on the IP address of the printer because the printer has never try to connect to what outside the network, but in your case, we want to put the IP address of your PC wired port to ensure that When the preacher looking for information, outside of himself, he sends will go to your PC.

  I have been using my 177fw Laser Jet Pro MFP on a Mac 10.10 for awhile.  Print, fax & scaning all worked.  I can scan is no longer.  I get the message "the scanner has not completed analysis" (there may be another message before that but it crushed until I read.).

  I use a USB cable for the connection.

  On August 31 I got HP Printer Software Update Verson 5.  What is my problem?

  I noticed your post about how you can't scan with your MFP HP Laserjet Pro 177fw on your Mac. And I'm happy to discuss this issue scan for you!

  To confirm that the hardware of the printer is functional, you are able to make a copy with the glass of the scanner of the printer?

  To copy:

  1. load the document on the scanner glass according to the indicators on the product.

  2. close the scanner.

  3. on the product control panel, press the button number of Copies.

  4. Select the number of copies.

  5. press the black start copy button or the button color launch copy to start copying.

  Let me know if it works, or if you see another error message.

  If the copy works, then try the steps described in this guide, Scanner USB connection is lost (Mac).
