HP LaserJet M506: HP Laserjet M506 tray 3 always of the duplex, but no other tray don't

I have a user that when printing in tray 3 it always duplex even if I uninstall the duplex under its printing devices option.  Tray 2 works fine.  Any program they print from as soon as they choose 3 duplex she plateau.  If they choose the tray 2, it doesn't.  Any ideas?

I got it all fixed.  In the printing software under Print, manage trays it is a menu drop down called 'Header Mode Alternative' I put this on Disable and now the printer prints only 1 piece of paper in tray 3 when the Duplex is not installed.   And since when the user who is Duplex is installed, and then assign him not Duplex is actually not Duplex.

Thank you for taking the time to help me.

The loss of appletalk on MacOS 10.6 forced me to get rid of my loyal and very old LaserJet and replace it with a p2055dn. The most attractive feature is a duplex. I installed, updated the drivers and print very well. The problem is that the duplex option is nowhere to be seen in the dialogues of printing for Word2008 or Acrobat, if it's for Safari. How to activate this option appears for all applications. MS Word and Acrobat are the most important applications to have access to duplex printing.

OK duplex options now appear in the print dialog for Word and Acrobat

I think the key is after installing the updated driver, restart.

Then, the option will appear in the layout page of the print dialog box option (make sure that you have fully deployed options)

Is it possible to change the name of a HP LaserJet 4250 tray?

    Greetz,

Well there's no easy way to do I know offshore. I have come across this thread on Apple support community: Print rename status bar. They're editing the PPD file to change the names of the bins. It seems that it is possible within the OS X with some serious tinkering.

I couldn't find a place were someone was able to change the names of plateau in a Windows environment.

    Here's the scenario.

I have an ipad and and 4 Galaxy both attached to the wireless company. There are 2 ethernet attached on the same local network printers. 1 is a 4250 and the all-in-one and another 8600. Two mobile devices have installed eprint.

The iPad print two printers simply by specifying the IP address.

The Android device prints to the 8600, but give an "Oops!" -The printer does not exist or you do not have access to this "message after the IP specification.

The printer firmware is updated to the most recent and all protocols are enabled. There is no set of security.

I'm trying to print at 4015 returns the same error opps in the Galaxy.

There must be a difference in application between Apple and Google, or I forget something.

    Hello

The Laserjet 4250 is not supported by the HP ePrint app, although it can run on iOS to make it work for any printer that is not officially suipported by the app there is no guarantees.

The application is completely different and work differently on iOS compating Android app.

You can find any printer supported below:

    http://support.HP.com/lt-en/document/c03722645

If you have a Kitkat or a later version, you can try to use the Android build in solution, install the Plugin from HP Service of the store and check whether that can allow printing to the 4250:

  • Vista and Color Laserjet 5 M reprints all when the printer is turned on?

Vist and Color Laserjet 5 M reprints all when the printer is turned on?

It is a new one on me. I installed the printer with a barrette SIMM Postscript so it would work even at all under Vista and now it prints well but insists on the fact that I have all re - print he has never seen a reason any whenever I turn the printer to print something again.

XP he has never done that, but I've always had the document cannot print the error that I ignored as he did print correctly.

Google has not really revealed anything?

?? Type response level 1 I was looking for... These printers are a full restart, test of memory and when it is off.

But I think I solved it, spent some time on google and there was a suggestion on the spooler in vista, was something like clear keep printed documents or print spooling first, I went also to start printing after the last page. Who took care of a lot of it somehow. Not sure why the generic installation program would need to be changed here. Possible I did for me somehow when I was trying to get the thing to work with the PCL driver too.

Then I noticed that whenever I turned on the printer it is printing a page of demo postscript, for some reason any, it is enabled by default in the SIMM option. Turn power off and now its not wasting so much paper now.

So two things to look for in the computer and the printer.

  • HP Color Laserjet M277n MFP: How to use the black cartridges only when the color toners are empty

    Hello team HP,

I recently bought a HP Color Laserjet MFP M277n I printer I print black & white user only and really don't need color prints. How to set the printer options to print only black & white? How can I replace only the black cartridge when the color cartridges are empty? How many prints (approximate), we can take by toner?

    Kind regards

    Christèle

    Hi @Pavumba,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I understand you're wondering how to use black ink only on your HP Color Laserjet M277n MFP printer. I would be glad to help and don't forget to come back to this thread and check "Accept as Solution", if I have successfully helped solve you the problem. If you want to say 'Thank you' to my effort to help, click on the "thumbs up" to give me a Kudos.

I see that you wonder if you need to replace the color cartridge when it is low. This printer is a printer AIO, therefore, you need to replace the ink cartridge when it becomes too weak to be able to resume printing. However, if you print mostly in black, you can configure a preset black only to print in black and white. This would help reduce the use of the color cartridges.

NOTE: Composite black - for black and white images and photos, a mix of colors called 'composite black' can be used to achieve the quality significantly improved picture and soft gray tones that can be achieved with only black toner. For users who want to print images using just black toner, many HP printers color customer offer configurable options allowing the client to print using only black toner. For example, by selecting "print in grayscale" in the printer driver Specifies print using black ink only. For more information about the use of the toner cartridges, please see this article: how the Toner is used.

  • LaserJet professional M1210 MFP Series: Find the right software for a Mac and how to install it

I recently changed from a PC to a Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite.  My printer is a Laserjet professional M1210 MFP series (although the info on the printer says Laserjet MFP M1217/mfw).  I don't know where to find the drivers and the correct software and I don't know how to install this printer on Mac.  It will print, but no other features work such as scanning or fax.

  • HP Laserjet 4200 works do not since the installation of wireless N300 router

I set up a new computer with Windows 7 and connected to the existing router.  There was a HP LaserJet 4200 connected to the router as well.  This configuration worked.  I installed a new wireless router Netgear N300 connecting the computer and the printer to the router with a Cat5 cable.  I manage not to print (or ping) the HP LJ4200.

I am able to get out to the internet through the router with cables Cat5 on 3 computers and wireless on 1 computer to the router works.

Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong with the configuration of the printer?

Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong with the configuration of the printer?

It's probably a mixup between the IP address or subnet assigned by your previous router and the new router.  Print a network configuration of controls on the front panel of the printer page to see how it is implemented.

    1. Press (select) to open the menus.
    2. Use (up arrow) or (down arrow) to scroll to INFORMATION and press on (select).
    3. Use (up arrow) or (down arrow) to access the PRINT SETUP, and then press on (select).

Now take a look at the network configuration of your computers.

Start > cmd (run as admin) > OK
    ipconfig/all {Enter}

Your printer's IP address must be in the same subnet as your computer.  For most routers, this means that the first 3 octets must be identical.  The Netgear N300 use 192.168.1.xxx, so your printer's IP address MUST be 192.168.1.x, where x cannot be 1 (the address of the router itself) or a number assigned to a computer.  If you have the printer set to "obtain an IP address automatically", the router will choose an appropriate IP address.

However, printers are often configured to use static IP addresses.  Even if it is better, if your printer has been configured to use a static IP address with the previous configuration of your network, it may not be compatible with your current network.

You should also check to see what looking for computers.  My box of Windows 7 is not available at the moment, but I think that the procedure is similar to XP:

Open Printers and faxes and right click on the printer in the network.  Select Properties.  Click the Ports tab.  The port of the printer should already be highlighted, click on Configure Port.  Look in the box "printer name or IP address."  If it shows an actual IP address, this means that the printer will only search the printer at this address.

If the address has changed (see above), the computer will not find the printer.  If there is a 'printer name' in the box, the computer "should" find the printer... but maybe not able to do so for a variety of misconfiguration.  This is why it is best to use static IP addresses for printers... but be careful that the printer is set to an IP address that is appropriate for your network, and that the computer knows that he has to use this address to find the printer.

  • HP Color LaserJet 9500 - stapling feature missing in the printer driver Uviversal

    Hello everyone,

We use a Color LaserJet 9500 in an enterprise environment. He had a hardware failure, our service partner repaired. Since then, the stapling function is missing from the universal printer driver. On the machine itself, we are able to use the stapler, but not on our PC.

You can see from the attached images, official stapling is visible on screen captures, but on our machines, stapling is missing.

    How we miss?

    Thanks in advance!

    Paul of Hungary

Don't know where on your driver, but he should be a tab like device settings on this tab will be a section called installable options and in this section that you will need to change the clip in not installed not installed. Most likely, the driver was reinstalled and the default probably isn't for the stapler unit. You must go to the folder of your printer and right click on the printer icon and then scroll the first properties if more than one and then left click and find the tab that has the installable options. Good luck.

I have the HP Laserjet M4345 MFP base model and I was wondering if I can add the duplexer, so I can automatically print on both sides.

    Thank you

If she is not a duplex unit, it is easy to add it simply slips in the lower part to the fuser unit.

Then you just power cycle the machine and it is detected and begins to work.

You don't have to change a configuration so that he knows that the duplexer is installed the driver.
