HP LaserJet P1005: Driver for laser P1005 printer fails

I tried to install the driver, but it failed. I noticed the installer to keep the recursive directory of creatine in the directory "programs" under HP/LaserJet P1000_P1500 series/HPHP series HP LaserJet P1000_P1500 series/HP/HP LaserJet P1000_P1500

So on so forth...

I tried win 7, 8 in comppatibility mode, but it seems to be the same file even.

Need help on this one. Thank you

Hello

As a basic driver is available, a specific installer should be used for each language, therefor, I asked your language of the operating system.

With the help of a Setup for another program language causes the installation program fails.

It is English or another language?

What is the file name of the installation that you are currently using?

  • Print using the HP LaserJet P1005 printer wireless

    Hello

I recently bought a new router billion integrated 7800NXL which has a print server to connect the printer to the router via a USB connection, so that it acts as a print server. I followed the guide to manufacturers on the configuration of the wireless print server and have installed the latest drivers for my Printer HP LaserJet P1005. The computer can establish contact with the printer through the router as it recognises when the printer has been disconnected. On further inspection using Wireshark, the computer exchanges information with the router using port 631 Internet Printing Protocol. When I go to print something for example through Microsoft Word, it gives me the ability to print on the Printer HP LaserJet P1005 but then in the printer spooler it says 0 documents pending and nothing prints. I have disabled all firewall and anti virus software and I am running Windows 7 64 bit. Any ideas?

    Hello

The HP printer is designed to print USB, any 3rd party hardware that the use of the print server is depands on the capabilities of this material.

I suggest trying to update its firmware (version 2.32 a) which lists the bug fix next, which may be related to your issue:

Some HP printers were misidentified as the 3G/LTE dongles

    http://au.billion.com/products/wireless/bipac7800nxl.html

Furthermore, in my experience, many print servers are supported printer PCL based and not on the host as the P1005 (printing language used by the printer).

I couldn't find any information on the guide of the user 7800NXL on this subject, this is something I recommend you to check with the manufacturer of the router.

    Hope that helps,

    Shlomi

  • LaserJet 1020 driver for Windows 7 x 64 does not!

Hello. I have the problem. I recently installed Windows 7 x 64, and when I tried to install the driver for my LaserJet 1020 of the site, an error appeared.

First of all, when I launched the driver installation program, I have subscribed to the license agreement and proceeded. Than, in the loading bar appears, it came with 3 branches of division inside and above text was as "preinstall the driver files. Then suddenly, for a fraction of second text 'Copy of the files on the hard drive' appeared again once «Preinstallation of the driver...» "and he appeared again for less than a second and again and again... "That, after a few times, it's just crushed, with the Windows message"Printer Software Installer"does not work".

And one more: in Program Files-> HP folder there is a lot of driver files (which seem to not work) and another file with the same file and folder inside HP HP... Recurrence, I think.

So, what should I do? I can't use my printer for a long time because of this driver!

I am have not spoken English for a while, so if I explained something strange, ask, I'll try to explain better =)

Which is awesome? I'm awesome! ^_^

I used the Russian version of the pilot, worked flawlessly =)

Take it from here. Happy, if I could help it =)

For the HP Laserjet 1020, HP publishes a printer driver for Windows 10?  It prints on the old driver, but strangely, all crush in two dimensions.

  • LaserJet 1300 driver for Win7 problem

Plugged my Laserjet 1300 in my new computer (System 7) via USB - and Windows could not find the right driver for it.

I cancelled Windows trying to install driver automatically and put the original driver CD disc (Serial #Q1334-60107 ver 2.0) in drive.
but I couldn't get Windows to recognize the printer, even after re-boots.

Since I bought the printer some time ago, I checked for the updated drivers online, that would be 64-bit.

    I installed it:
    UPD pcl5 - x 64 - 5.4.0.11744.exe

During driver installation, I plugged the printer & turned on at what I thought was a good time. I see this:
'HP Universal printing PCL 5' as printer - but it will not be printed.

I tried Windows "Uninstall" feature, but it does not show the pilot, to uninstall it - OR where the driver of the located.

    * QUESTIONS: How do I uninstall the driver? Use disk upd pcl5 - x 64 - 5.4.0.11744.exe OR original pilot #Q1334-60107 ver 2.0?

What is the procedure for installing this?-I can't find anything, despite an afternoon of Googling.

    Thank you.

Did you follow this guide to install printing? Installation of LaserJet 1300 Windows 7

You shouldn't have to navigate to the driver you download. Actually stick it in the trash at the moment when you set "Add a printer", you must select "add a local printer. Ignore the writing to the right, which applies only if everything works properly. If you follow the guide at the top it should install correctly.

No need to feel stupid and no problem at all to help. That's what I'm here for
