HP Laserjet Pro P1102w: P1102w does not connect to internet

I'm having a problem getting my new C300 Chromebook ASUS to recognize my HP Laser Jet P1102w professional.  I have both connected to my wifi network and have many apple products that will recognize the printer on the network.  In addition, I have a HP Photosmart 7510 that sits on the network and the Chromebook had no problem to recognize.  I went through the steps to implement the P1102w for access to the internet and each time all devices when I go to the ip address of the printer, it says unable to connect to the internet.  In addition, when I'm on the ip address on the Chromebook site, it will display a report of configuration via the network to the P1102w.  Any suggestions?  Your help would be greatly appreciated.

You have installed the latest firmware for the printer (version 20130703)? It is essential for wPrint to work.

Fix/Enhancement:
Enhancements for ePrint - This update will be necessary in order to maintain ePrint functionality.

You can find the current version of the software of the printer Status Report, that can be porinted by keeping the button pressed Cancel until the device start printing.

Be aware tha utility to update the firmware it is available for Mac OS X 10.4 10.9 or for any version of Windows, the tool for a Mac cn is located below.

Also, be aware that you must connect to the printer via USB to update its firmware, it is not supported via a wireless connection:

    I would cycle power to the router, restart the computer and the printer to see if it will help.

    It can be assigned to the printer port. Devices and printers, right click on the printer and left click on printer properties, select the Ports tab and see if the printer is checked on TCP/IP and no WSD. Let me know how it is listed.

    UPDATE: the below solution worked on my MacBook, both running El Capitan. Ignore the instructions provided in the manual of the P1102W and follow the steps below.

    I have a P1102W printer.

    Recently my LaserJet P1102W refuses to connect to networks using WPA Wireless.

    As it does not have an IP address, I can't access the web server.

    I see that you encounter some problems connecting your Laserjet P1102w printer to your network wireless using your Mac computer. I can help you with that.

    First of all, I would like to mention that it would be easier to the printer connected to your network using a Windows PC. If you can't borrow or use a Windows PC, the following steps should allow you to connect the printer. If you can borrow a PC, please let me know what version of Windows and I can provide a link to the drivers to configure the printer automatically.

    Preparation of the printer

    1. Turn the printer off.
    2. While the printer is turned off, hold down the two buttons on top of the printer.
    3. Hold the buttons on top of the printer and the printer.
    4. Hold down the maintained for even 10 seconds.

    Wireless printer setting

    1. Make sure that the printer is connected to your Mac via the USB cable.
    2. Click on your Apple icon, system preferences and printers and Scanners.
    3. Click the icon of your printer on the left.
    4. Click Open print queue, printer installation, utility of printer, open printer and HTML Config utility.
    5. (If the above step generates an error, change your default browser on Safari. Please let me know if you need assistance with that).
    6. In this new window, click on the networking and wireless tab on the left.
    7. Under Mode of Communication, select Infrastructure.

    9. Under Security Mode, select WPA/WPA 2. If you have an old router, you may need to select WEP instead.

    7. Click in the box next to and select your printer from the list.

    If that didn't help then share what router you're using, please indicate brand and model? I'll offer to make sure that your router is updated with the most recent firmware, also I personally always use Google's DNS servers. Some servers DNS provided by your ISP (Internet service Provider)

    You can change this setting by going to do the following:

    Press the Win key on your keyboard.

    1. Type Ncpa.cpl (this will take you to the network connections)
    2. Select your wireless connection

    6. Type 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 airfield

    Update: I indeed found firewall was the issue (the first time with updates of Firefox). I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but that no longer works.
    Then I opened the application window of Norton Security (looking for information of firewall). I don't actually change or click on what to Norton. I decided to try to install again. This time, when I hit "Run" instead of "Save", the small window Norton popped up saying downloading is safe. Then he installed and opens very well.

    It may be a quirk of Norton? Or by choosing run rather than save (and running after registration)?

    I have an iPhone running iOS 9.3.2 6s (last updated).

    I recently got a HP Pavillion Entertainment, model number dv7 - 3188cl, for me to use for a class at the school by my uncle. Before the recovery, everything worked perfectly well. My uncle asked me to reset the computer, so we used the recovery disks that wiped the hard drive successfully but then refuses to reinstall the operating system. Instead of getting another set of recovery disks that I've used a Windows 7 install disc to reinstall the OS and he did so successfully with one flaw, the laptop does not connect to the internet.

    I tried to connect via ethernet and it does not find my WiFi network. I suspect his lack a driver and checked for drivers on the HP site but he said that there is none.   • iPhone and iPad does not connect to internet

    Since yesterday, I was unable to connect to internet via wifi on my iPad and iPhone.  They show the power of the full signal and says I'm connected, but won't load Web pages or refresh applications.  When I disable wifi on my phone everything works fine on the LTE, but I don't want to use my data.

    I think it must be something with the update iOS because:

    -J' completely rebooted our router and modem and it worked on my iPad for about 30 seconds (what makes a Web page) before it stopped working again.

    -My boyfriend did not the last update on the iPad or iPhone, and both connect on our wifi at home, while my iPad or iPhone will connect to the internet.

    -My iPhone also does not connect to the wifi in my work, even though I know it works as I am online on my computer work via wifi.

    I noticed something strange on my iPhone and iPad when I went to check the settings wifi yesterday - the VPN configuration is flashing/refreshing without touching me, even if I don't have everything set up VPN connections.  When I actually click on VPN, an error is displayed.  There may be something wrong with the VPN on the new update which blocks the wifi signal?

    If you are able to connect your iPad and iPhone to your wireless router agreement but the iPad and iPhone will not connect to internet, it is unlikely to have anything to do with the version of iOS.

    Restart your router (unplug unit, wait ten seconds and then reconnect it).
