HP Officejet 6310 IP address

I created my printer to print over a network. It woks fine until I turn it off. Then ip address changes and I have to put up again. It's the third day, I had to do this. Is it possible to stop the IP address always change?

Hello

Together with an address static IP is the way to go. Please use PrintDoc instructions at the following link:

  • Cannot connect HP Officejet 6310 for Mac OSX 10.5.8 Dl624S wireless network usage

I'm new to Mac . I have a HP Officejet 6310 and a Macbook Pro running Mac OS x 10.5.8.

My printer works when connected to my Macbook directly using the USB cable. The problem is when I try to print when my printer is connected to my D-Link router via USB and my Macbook has a wireless connection to the network. The printer is not found.

I can print from my computer Dell laptop on the network wireless but not not using my Macbook. I am only able to print from the Macbook if connected directly to the printer.

When I try to manually connect to the printer by typing the IP address I get the following error: "could not connect on your device setup assistant.

I also tried to add the printer using system on PPI Protocol preferences but no joy there either.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

Thank you. This helped me to solve a similar problem.

I have an HP 1022n compatible IP printer on my network, but could not install it with any HP installers. It does not appear in the device lists, and I couldn't add it manually via the IP address.

Using the Mac printer setup I was able to install it, but nothing happened when I introduced printing to it.

At the end of the day, I deleted the printer via the Mac printer setup and reinstalled using "HP Jetdirect - taken" under "HP Laserjet 1022 - Gutenprint v5.2.3" and Protocol as the printer software.

    That did the trick.

The printer still does not appear in "Utility from HP" or "HP Installation Wizard", but at least I can print to it.

  • OfficeJet 6310 won't work with end 2009 27 "iMac

I have a late 2009 27 "iMac (Intel Core i5) and an Officejet 6310, connected via ethernet. I also have an iMac Core 2 Duo oldest on the same network that the 6310 works perfectly with. The iMac 27 "will not simply see the 6310. I installed the latest drivers Apple HO, I have reset the printing system in the printing preferences panel & Telec. In the P & F pref panel, I tried to install the printer using all 3 protocols (Line Printer Daemon - LPD, Internet Printing Protocol - IPP and HP Jetdirect Socket), I plug the verified address of PPI, I selected the generic Postscript printer and the HP 6300 series drivers and nothing works. When I run the HP utility, I get a message "192.168.1.104 is currently unavailable...". ».  When I try to print, the printer status box returns a message "host 192.168.1.104 network is busy, try again in 15 seconds".

What is happening here? Thanks in advance.

OK, now I feel really dense. I plug the wrong IP address. Is is possible that this change? Could have sworn that I had it right. In any case, I print now, thank you for your time.

  • HP Officejet 6310: Broken printer HP Officejet 6310?

When I broke the power connector HP Officejet, the cord of the HP Officejet 6310 to the power adapter, I broke the HP Officejet 6310. So I used a power connector HP Deskjet 1000 replaces the HP Officejet 6310 power connector, and when I plugged everything in, I got a reading on the screen HP 6310 power "Reset". Is my broken HP Officejet 6310? Or you do NOT know yet because the HP Deskjet 1000 power connector is not compatible with the HP Officejet 6310? Please let me know. Thank you!

    Hello

The HP Officejet 6310 uses part # 0957-2175, which is

    http://www.Amazon.com/HP-0957-2175-AC-adapter/DP/B002MB9ERK

and the HP Deskjet 1000 part #0957-2286, i.e.:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c02435664

I don't think that the power supply for HP Deskjet 1000 has enough power for the HP Officejet 6310 or is not compatible. But we don't know or some other factors. You must spend $15 to buy the right power supply for HP Officejet 6310, this is the only way to ensure that it is still alive or not.

  • Officejet 6310 all-in-One fainted during the printing and copying

I have an Officejet 6310 all-in-one.  I have Windows Vista.  Yesterday, I replaced the black cartridge with HP98.  Now when I make copies or print a document, print the page gets more light and more light, about 1/3 to 1/2 through the page and very light down by a horizontal white line through the text.  I cleaned the cartridge with a damp cloth, I ran the command of cartridges clean but also align the cartridges.  I turned off the printer and unplugged and restarted again.  When I run a self-test page, especially the black line went up to 2/3 of the way, then it is empty at the top and gets darker, then the last 1/3 is fine.  The test pattern shows a few holes in the grid to black.

I just checked the cushion under the black ink cartridge and it is saturated with ink.  I don't know that is where the problem originated.  I would be very grateful of any advice to solve this problem.

    Thank you.

Is it a HP cartridge or a charging/reman?  It seems to be a faulty cartridge.  If it is an original HP, then check the warranty of the cartridge as shown here.

It is unlikely that the ink that you see in the field of the service station is the issue.  The ink that you see is the result of the normal maintenance routine that the printer uses to keep the printheads from clogging.  It is normal that there is ink in this area.

  • Cannot print in color of HP Officejet 6310 all-in-one

I have a printer all-in-one color HP Officejet 6310, connected to the network. The ink levels are fine - I just bought new ink.

The printer cannot print in color, my computer Windows laptop, no problem, but will print in black & white Mac.

Why? Y at - it an option for color printing that I haven't checked? How can I fix?

go to the icon of the Apple at the top left > system preferences > printers and scanner/print and scan / print and fax.

remove the printer using the "-" lower-left next to the icon (+)

After you remove > press the plus (+) icon.  > Click on 'Add a printer or a scanner', if it has given you this opportunity.

in the new window > click on the name of your printer. Then check the bottom > NAME, LOCATION, PRINT USING (USE).

Make sure the part "USE" or "PRINTING to AID", it should be the AIRPRINT printer name not.

Then ADD at the bottom right. > try to print in color now.

  • Officejet 6310 all-in-One: can't send faxes from the computer screen

We use an Officejet 6310 all-in-one printer. Computer of my wife, a laptop Toshiba Satellite Windows 7 Professional, has suddenly come to the point that it will no longer send faxes from the computer screen. We get an error message that something must be installed or reinstalled. We have lost the CD of the software provided with the printer. We can send a fax if we have a document printed to power the machine, and we can print faxes. We lose a lot of paper and ink because of this problem. Help, please.

    Hi GregsterMc,

Given that the Fax icon is not displayed in the window of printers and devices, you need to uninstall and reinstall the software again. This should solve the problem.

    Thank you.

  • Can I use a printer HP Officejet 6310 on windows XP, vista and 7

Original title: HP Officejet 6310 printer

I have two computers, a desktop computer running XP Pro and a laptop running Vista.  I recently bought a laptop running Windows 7 64-bit.  Can I use a HP 6310 printer on all three?

    Hello

Windows Compatibility Center shows that this printer is compatible with windows XP, Vista and 7. Drivers for all the operating system three are offered by HP, so you should be able to use this printer on all three OS.

  • Officejet 6310: cartridge error

I regularly get messages "Cartridge error" as follows: "both cartridges are not intended for this printer" or "both cartridges must be replacred" or another message saying something like the cartridge on the left is incompatabnler & needs replaced.

My solution has been to remove and reinsert the same cartridges that have been installed. Sometimes, I also have to slide the cartridge door by hand from left to right the printer. After going through these gyrations, the printer will work for a few days and then one of the same error messages appears & the printer stops working until I reintall 1 or 2 cartridges and/or slide the cartridges on the right side of the printer.

    Hi @txquacker,

Welcome to the HP Support forums.

I understand that your HP Officejet 6310 all-in - One Printer shows "cartridge error: one or two cartridges are not intended to be used to this printer ' error, which is temporarily solved by removing and reinstalling the cartridges and sliding manually the carriage from left to right." I would like to help with that.

Here is a specific document on this issue - ' cartridge error: one or two cartridges are not intended to be used for this printer "Error Message."

Please let me know if that solves the problem, or if you need assistance.

In fact, if it helps you to find a solution, please click on the 'accept as Solution' and the 'thumbs up' buttons down below in this message.

  • all-in-one Officejet 6310: officejet 610 all-in-one in offline and don't watch does not reinstall in windows 8

I have a Wondows 8.1 and a printer portable all-in-one officejet 6310.  I have my printer installed and works fine on my laptop, but out of the blue one day that the printer will be offline and restarting the computer and printer does not correct.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled the computer many times - this helps for about a week before it disconnects again.

Now when I uninstall my laptop says there is no printer in range and lists no printer for me to install.  When I tried to manually in my printer - doesn't say that there is no such printer available.  Any suggestions?  Apparently this ONLY happens to me on my computer and not someone else in the home on their laptops - we have a total of 4 laptops in the House all on the same router and using the same printer.  Oh how I feel like a fool with windows 8.  Someone at - it helps or good suggestions for me? PLEASE? !!

Don't worry, it happens to the best of us. I recently became very angry because my iPad was not charging, the end came unplugged from the wall charger! Laughing out loud

This problem can be caused by outdated closed ware, contradictory I.P within the router, etc. I have worked on a Thread revolving around Windows 8.1 for awhile, check it out for some possible future troubleshooting operations.

There are steps to add the printer a way, assign a static IP, check that some updates are installed by Microsoft, etc.
