I have a LaserJet P1606dn - all of a sudden, I can't use the automatic on both sides print - Please help!

    Hello

Make sure that the automatic duplex printing option is selected:

Enter the control panel > printers

Right click on the printer icon, and then click Properties (printer properties for Windows7).

    Click the Device Configuration tab.

Make sure that the option allow automatic duplex printing is checked.

If there is no change, try to uncheck the print manual duplex option below, then check any change.

The terms may be a little different because my OS is not in English.

The front part / duplex must be placed at the bottom left part of the device Configuration dialog box.

Please let me know of any changes,

I am running 64-bit Windows 7 Ultimate and my LaserJet P2055dn printer attached USB works fine EXCEPT it may not be able to manually print on both sides. If I understand the situation correctly, the printer driver that is installed by the operating system is for Color LaserJet P2050 Series PCL6. The HP site, it seems that if, unlike Vista, there is no specific driver for Windows 7 for the LaserJet P2055dn. I can live with this situation, but I would appreciate your comments or suggestions on how I can activate auto two side printing on this printer.

HP has a document that describes what you need to do to activate automatic duplexing on the CP2025. The address of the page is:

  • Acrobat Pro DC not recognizing both sides print with HP Scanjet 7000.  Any ideas on a fix?

I've recently upgraded to Acrobat Pro DC and the print command both sides worked until yesterday.  Now Acrobat will still scan pages only side, but even with both sides order selected, it does not analyze both sides of a document.  I tested the scanner and it will still scan and copy both sides of a document using the duplex control on the scanner button.  I use a pc with windows 7 64 bit and a HP Scanjet 7000.

  • LaserJet Pro M402dn: One side printing as default on HP M402dn

I want to print one side only as a default setting.

The current default value is two sided.

How can I change the default permanently on a back?

I don't want to change the setting that each I print.

Or how can I select 'Print every day' as the permanent choice, unless I change it myself?

    Thank you

If you're talking about a pilot affecting then you must open the Printers dialog box and set the printer driver properties overall.

In Windows 8, that I have to click on the Windows icon at the bottom left of the screen, and then start hitting devices and printers.

Printers Citizen was on the list of research would be to click on it to open devices and Printers dialog box.

Then I would right click on the printer and to Midway in the list which appeared I would choose the properties of the printer, there is another similar entry at the bottom of the list, but you want the halfway point with the word inside printer.

Once you open this dialog box, you can click on the tabs and change the settings and then to apply them and those that will become the default settings for all applications.

    Hi itakexrays,

You are right! My apologies. After you set the option 1 sided Original 1 sided copy , go to settings, lower left corner. Now, you will see up and down arrows in the upper right corner. Continue to press the arrow down until you see set as new default.

  • How to use the print face feature two automatic? I get only one side printed.

I just got a new HP Officejet Pro 8600 and it says it's supposed to automatically print double-sided.  When I have a paper face two feed the paper from the upper bin feeder, it takes in and it then prints on one side, then he pulls the book which he just printed in as if he was going to print the second side, but then it ejects just page and does never print the second side.  I have an Asus computer running Windows 7, but I'm just trying to make a copy two faces to the right of the printer itself.  I went into the settings and there are two options under two back, we say '1-coast face 1 copy Original' and the other choice I have chosen is "1 side 2-sided original copy.  Those are the only choices.  What I am doing wrong?

The two-sided printing module will print the back automatically when printing.  When making copies, it will print the back if you put two (or more) pages in the feeder and select this option to copy 1-face to face 2.  This model apparently does not 2 head to head 2 copies, i.e., it doesn't have a mechanism to scan the rear face of load in the ADF.

  • Default AirPrint of reversal of the rather long and short side (printer Photosmart 5520)

    Hello

When I used to print from my iPad via AirPrint on both sides on my printer HP Photosmart 5520, it used to print, so that you may browse on the long side. For some reason, it changed to printing, so it switches to the short side.

How can I change by flipping on the long side?

My son has discovered a fix for this problem. We have now tried on three iPads and whenever he has set.
The solution is to disable double-sided printing in the options when you are about to print a document and then turn it back on.
After that the only time anything printed duplex will be sharp long printed not short edge.
It is not a rocker, I can't get my iPad to print double-sided on the short side now (not that I want to), for some reason once you turned two-sided printing off and on again, long-back becomes the permanent default.
    Weird!

P.S. He arranges for all applications.

  • Color LaserJet CP2025: 2 SIDES PRINT

When I upgraded my computer (HP Pavilion 500-267C) to 10 Windows, I lost the ability to automatically print on both sides. I looked for an updated driver, but it doesn't seem to be the one who will deal with this issue.

I unplugged the printer (again!), removed from the computer and re-installed. This time he allowed me to turn on option 2 faces. Must have been a bad driver.

    Thank you!

  • LaserJet P1102w: two side printing on Laserjet P1102w

    Hello

I can't print on both sides for Laserjet P1102w with my Mac, I followed all instruction on HP user manual on page 23, on the '7' clause, I have to click on continue, but it is not a "continuous" option at the request of the printer or the product. And after printing half a million pages, the application works. Please help me.
    Thank you

    Hello

Once the 1st page printed and reloaded in the status bar, open and close the top page cartridge access door to resume printing and print the 2nd side.
