  I just installed an Airport card in my Mac Pro to 2006 but I can't find the antenna inside the case cables? Does anyone know where they would be located? Included with every Mac Pro models, or is mine were too old for this? I have experience with this stuff, but I don't want to spoil anything.

  I just bought this machine and have had problems with a poor quality since the wireless signal. HP technical team came up with all sorts of different explanations, and I even had to send for the "repair" because one of them think that the wireless card was defective. I put t know exactly where is the location of WiFi antenna, but it should be placed somewhere under the keyboard. It is very easy to remove the keyboard (fixed with three screws) and you can check if you can find the crack. There are also the antenna (black and white cables).

  With this damaged wiring, I doubt it will be problem except playing havoc with wireless reception.  Stick the broken insulation should be fine, as long as the wire is OK.

  The adapter is needed to connect the antenna cable, because the antenna cable supports different jack. If the wireless antenna must have the same cable as a normal antenna if cable adapter is required.
  Maybe the 3rd party Wlan antenna has an own map but I n t think so.
