    Hi all

I've updated my Aspire S7-391 to 8.1 Windows and now the trackpad is not working, nor the pointer is displayed on the screen. Can I use a USB mouse without problem, and the touch screen works very well. However, even after you have installed the latest driver to trackpad MOMENTUM and by adjusting the settings, the pointer refuses to appear on the screen. Suggestions for corrections are most appreciated.

    Thank you!

    Hello..

You can press and hold down the Fn key and press the T key to check if the touchpad works.

If you have no answer, please uninstall the driver from Device Manager and restore the Acer recovery management pilot.

    Hello

I've updated my mac pro to the latest OS. However, the trackpad does not work correctly. Sometimes he strives to move the arrow but double click, drag, and all other actions do not work properly.

Can someone help me out here? Is there a way to reactivate the trackpad or update driver for the trackpad.

The trackpad is build-in bluetooth no one.

There are two main troubleshooting steps I suggest to complete to start troubleshooting your touchpad is not responding. These steps are reset of memory NVRAM and the SMC on your Mac and the instructions for each can be found in the articles below.

  • I've updated to Firefox, The Free Dictionary has lost some essential features, cannot get back them. The DFT now only works in English. What should do?

I updated Firefox to 10.0.2 and lost the functionality of The Free Dictionary. I reinstalled TFD, but now it only works in English. Say I read a German Web page, highlight a Word, the dictionary will seek in the English Dictionary. Before that I had all the versions I needed, and the dictionary automatically in the right. And before that I could have the toolbar installed, now there is no option for this either. What should I do?

Maurizio salute, I asked you to a problem with the free dictionary. I found the solution, which in fact was not technical. In case someone else has the same, that's what I did not understand: when I highlight a word in a text in a language other than English, the dictionary gives me an explanation in English, i.e. 'not found word', but when I then press 'Search', the dictionary connect in the appropriate dictionary. It works even in Chinese! So, problem solved. The dictionary is not as good as before, but still, it works. Best regards, Markku

  • Pavilion p7 - 1227c needs the network drivers that work with Windows 2008 server R2

  • Can't do a TV picture on my HP 2006 Media edition by using my cable coaxial antenna, I split the signal out that works well with ordinary TV

I am in a rural area of the United States and have an antenna connected to a digital box with a signal strength of 73% to my regular TV on which I get 16 channels.  The radio works fine in the Media center, but I can't get the TV stations.  I have divided the coaxial antenna power and connected it to the coaxial video on the back of the CPU.  I have a 64 x 2 dual core AMD Athlon {tm} processor 4200 +.   When I get to the media center TV auto configuration screen in place it scans and said then not detected no TV signal.  If I configure manually using antenna and then go to the screen "digital land" and hit next, the program stops working and although it shows it running in the Task Manager it will not give more. I guess that's because it detects no signal from the antenna.  I'm stumped and would apprectiate all opinion.  Finally, I would like to power TV live stream to my regular TV of the CPU, but going to cross this bridge after receiving a signal from TV to the CPU.

    Hello

I suggest you according to the question in this forum and check if that helps:

    It will be useful.

  • I upgraded to the Mavericks, and now the amine on my trackpad will not work. It works in Chrome, the finder, or MS suite. Only FF does not work.

The question has pretty much all the details. I am running FF and latest Mvericks and scrolling / / back in the trackpad does not work. I can scroll in any other program, just not FF.

    Try:

    • System Preferences > General > display the scroll bar > choose "always."
  • The trackpad is completely screwed on dv7 HP Envy. w / Windows 8/8.1

Until recently, my laptop has worked almost problem-free until I started hearing some weird beep sound from the speaker. I don't know if it's relevant to the problem, but it might have something to do with it. I noticed the next day morning, the trackpad would not work correctly while being logged on to Windows. I have to hold the left click just to get the cursor to move. In addition, gestures and the part of the trackpad that lets you disable the entry work at all! The only time that the trackpad will essentially work correctly is in just about any environment before loading the Windows account.

Resolution of the problems so far:
-remove the device driver = basic function but a poor performance.
-deleted and reinstalled the driver for the trackpad on the site = same problem once more.

SOLVED! I don't know how to mark the topic as resolved, but all that was needed to solve the problem was a hard restart (remove all devices and power sources and hold the power button for about 30 seconds).

  • HP pavilion dv5 1223tx scrollbar on trackpad works intermittently?

    Hey guys,.

I am having some problems with my laptop HP with respect to the scroll bar. And Yes, I have already uninstalled and reinstalled with the latest synaptics software. It's a confusing question because I already contacted HP realized and they said that they have not all calls to my question.

When I use the laptop for some time the scrollbar would come to a point where it does more then randomly, it will work again, which can become very frustrating. I don't know if what else has this same kind of problem, but I had to return my first HP because of this. I got an in replace and it has the same problem...

I tried to use IE, firefox and google chrome. They have all the same symptoms with the scroll bar after a certain time. The touchpad works fine however. What I am doing wrong? Could this be just a hardware failure? Technology HP said that it cannot be due to the fact that the trackpad is still working. "This problem everything went in the first week I bought it then ' wear & tear ' may be.

If anyone out there has a solution to this please me pm.

    Thank you for your time.

    Johnny.

Thank you marjorie! funny how something as simple as that of could be the solution. Thanks again!

  • Pilot of the trackpad for Macbook A1181 running Windows 10

    Hello

I have an old MacBook A1181 crossing 10 Windows Boot Camp, and I have a few problems.

So first of all, I installed 10 Windows via Boot Camp on OS X Snow Leopard. The installation went well. Can I download Boot Camp 5.1.5640 on Apple's site. It is installed without error. I restarted and now does not work the trackpad. The trackpad has worked before installing Boot Camp, but without gestures.

Then I followed a few steps I found on google on how to make it work again. Basically, I installed the Apple keyboard as a USB input. Now the trackpad works again, but without gestures. I don't really like as long as it's on the zoom and scroll, but really annoing be able to right click.

The webcam drivers do not work, but I found a driver online that works perfectly.

I now that this Macbook is old, but I hope someone has a solution.

Maybe I should also mention that I also tried to launch Ubuntu 15 on it. With Ubuntu I was both able to scroll through and do a right-click without even installing something other than the OS itself.

I also tried to use a software called Tracpad ++, but it has not taken in charge for this old Macbook.

Hope someone knows what to do or just something I can try.

It is probable, since there is no drivers certified for 7/8 year, material on W10.

Remove Trackpad ++, if you still have. What is the currently installed driver that supports your trackpad without the right click? You have a trackpad tab in Control Panel-> Boot Camp?

  • Cursor disappears and the Trackpad unresponsive liked - NEW MacBook Pro!

My MacBook Pro is now a little less than two weeks. In the first days of its use, the slider disappeared and the trackpad was totally insensitive.  The only way to make it work again was to turn it off because he has not answered either keyboard commands. I called the support, which I must say were not very useful, a left me frustrated. The first person I talked to seemed very green - not a vote of confidence!

Fast forward about 8 days later.  Exactly the same thing. Support and through his statement, tried to start in safe mode, but no go. He went immediately from the Apple to the login page.  On top of that, the person was very rude.  It has been long since I have dealt with the Apple support, and these experiences were very different from I remember.  I will communicate the headquarters to complain, but for now, my question is what to do?  This is a NEW computer, so in my opinion, probably this should not happen at all, but I wonder if this is a common problem, and if there is a fix!

My old MacBook Pro got too draggy and the processor was too outdated to handle any innovation that occurred in the last seven years, but boy, I loved this computer!  I have to deal with this issue, of course - setting or Exchange it as a failure - but in general, the new MacBook Pro suck?

Ah, I just saw that the product is 'start 2015' - quite interesting, because I bought it more than a quarter of the way in 2016!  I am really annoyed and disappointed by Apple.

  • HP Pavilion 14 t: Trackpad is not working - HP Pavilion 14 t

I have a 9 - month old HP Pavilion 14 t with without a touchscreen. Recently, my trackpad will simply stop moving. I can do any kind of movement with my fingers on the trackpad, but the mouse on the screen will not move or click. Since I have a touch screen or an external mouse, I would like to know why the mouse stops working. He stops suddenly, and I just have to wait until he decides that he wants to work again - generally, anywhere from 20 seconds to five minutes. I've updated this computer to Windows 10 approximately two weeks after getting it, but I doubt that's the problem, because this mouse problem has only been past sporadically for the past two months.

Never mind... I found that he'd put Sims on my computer causing this problem. Ugh. I love this game, but he's so mean to computers.

  • Pavilion Slimline lock up in sleep mode-fan works high not lights up unless I pull the power cord 1

New HP Pavilion Slimline desktop 400-314 - mode 'sleep' sometimes cause to lock the computer, the power light is on, the fan runs at the top.  Only way to unlock the computer is to hold the power button for 5 seconds.  I wait 15-20 seconds, then press the power button to wake it up.  Immediately the computer restarts to the top with solid power light and the fan turns at the top.  The only way to break this vicious circle must first pull the power cord to the rear, wait 30 seconds and plug it in again.  This time, when I turn on the computer it goes off just fine.

Is this a BIOS problem?  Please help as I don't have that much hair left.

    * Solved * Finally!  After 8 grueling days of pain staking agony and incessant attempts to fix this thing, I finally solved my problem.  I spent countless hours on the phone with HP support and nothing resolved.  That is: the problem with this computer locking up and sending the fan at high spin was due only with external speakers. When you reset the power system disconnected to boot the system, he would normally go for at least half a day before locking up.  I discovered that the speakers are older than 15 years. It's funny, these speakers worked fine on a desktop HP 2004 previous Pavilion running on Windows XP.  Now, it's static build-up that caused my death or something else?  As far as I know, it's that I'm a happy camper using headphones with a new system of HP that finally works.  Thank you to everyone who made suggestions.

  • HP Mini Mie - disable the Trackpad as mouse button

I come from the new edition of Mi and very impressed by it's slick interface and style. I've used Ubuntu for about two months on my home machine, that is why it is annoying me right now...

How to turn the tap trackpad click... in other words, tapping the trackpad would not act as if a mouse button has been clicked.

I feel like this should be easy, but I think that the problem lies in the fact the Sub settings - system - there is only a 'Mouse' and not a 'Trackpad' option, so there is no settings click on and outside...

    Any ideas?

Go to, advanced settings, control parameters, do scroll down to system and find the synaptic package manager. You can search for gsynaptics and install it. It now appears in the Panel settings like "touch pad". Use it to "turn off the tap" on the second tab make sure "disable touchpad" on the first screen because you will need to track down a mouse usb at the end.
