Sorry, but HP only provides Manager HP recovery as part of the installation at the factory. HP doesn't provide downloads of the HP Recovery Manager and you may need to order recovery HP media to get the computer to a factory State. Please contact HP in your country / region via the Portal Support HP's worldwide to the order of HP recovery disks.

Hello
I tried to update my laptop Win8 to Win10, but before that Win 8 must be upgraded to Win8.1 then Win10. Unfortunately, I encountered the problem after you install the free upgrade to WIn10.
I decided to use the system recovery and the source is from my USB. (I created the USB key recovery). The restoration was completed and started making configuration suddenly my laptop just because of the excessive heat caused my laptop stop does not complete the installation of windows 8 and finished to get the dialog box of "Windows Installer".
I inserted the USB key, but it seems that its not reading. I tried F2 - mode of the system, but it only shows the Bios and other tests not the usual display of F2. I haven't tried F11 and same thing no chance.
My question is, how do I make my laptop back to the operating mode as the way to reinstall the entire operating system and HP Recovery Manager or HP configurations.
Do I need to buy a CD of HP recovery my laptop?
I have HP reactions appreaciate or someone who is ready to help and assist.
Thank you in advance.

Hello support,
Please, could you tell me is hp pavilion dv6 - 7013cl entertainment notebook 10 64-bit windows support, isn't even available all the drivers to download for windows 10 for hp pavilion dv6.
You have all your customer reviews, how fitting is hp pavilion dv6 7013 for windows 10?
Thank you and best regards,
Granite
I can only tell you my experience - when I tried to upgrade my hp DV6 and had Win10 fail and leave it in an unusable state. I'm waiting for the recovery discs arrive at HP, so that I can restore and get back to work.
There is no Win10 at HP for the DV6 drivers - I checked.
Before the upgrade, I would say that it does not support Win10 - as their tool to check upgrade reported no hardware or software problem, and that my machine was ready to be upgraded.
But... This is obviously not true, or he would not have missed the upgrade.
The first service pack to Win10 (only they do not call it a service pack, they call it a Service Release) will come out this week. So I would wait until the month next to the upgrade.

Hello:
First install the amd chipset driver and restart. You want the first file on the Web page.
http://support.AMD.com/en-us/download/chipset?OS=Windows 7-32
Then, install the beta AMD Mobility Catalyst graphics driver.
http://support.AMD.com/en-us/KB-articles/pages/latest-catalyst-Windows-Beta.aspx
Audio: Accept the agreement. Download and install the first file in the list.
Wired network: download and install the second on the list.
Card reader:
USB 3.0: Install both...
3D driveguard:

I do not know what your model wireless card model, has do this...
Go to Device Manager.
There should be a category showing other devices .
Less than one catergory other devices should be a list of devices that need drivers.
They will have little things! marks next to them.
The wireless network card is the device below the category other devices like a network controller.
Click the network controller device, and it will open a window with tabs at the top of the window.
Click the Details tab.
On the Details tab, you will see a drop-down list of property. It will be a default Description of the appliance.
On this list and select the second item which is the hardware ID
Now you should see 4 lines or more characters and the top row begins with PCI\VEN.
After this first string.
That tells the user the manufacturer and the type of device that it is.
So I can post the driver for the wireless card I think you need.

HP Pavilion g6-1201tx Notebook: I need my windows 7 Home Basic recovery copy
I lost my drive recovery House pre installed base of windows 7 for my product mentioned above, I need my product software Home Basic windows 7 please help me.
Hello;
Let me welcome you on the HP forums!
Ordinarily, I advise to use HP recovery media to restore your PC to its original state. That would erase the entire disk, format the drive and install the operating system, drivers and utilities HP.
Unfortunately, there is no support of HP recovery related to HP for your PC Product Page. This could be an oversight by HP, or it could also mean that HP stock is no longer the recovery media for your PC. They store any long recovery media for older PCs.
You can try to contact the HP customer directly, using the links below, to see if you can order them if:
If you live in the United States or the Canada, details are on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/phone-assist.html#section1
If you live elsewhere, contact details are on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/ww-contact-us.html
NOTE: once you get through, stay on the line until you are finally able to talk to someone ' one - it can take a while!
If you have difficulties to find a phone number, then try: 1 (800) 474-6836
If HP no longer provides a recovery media for your model, a few other sites, you should check are: http://www.computersurgeons.com/ and http://www.restoredisks.com/
Good luck

Pavilion a1250n: cannot use 4 GB of memory on 64-bit operating system
I resurrected this PC to give to my grandson, so I added 2 GB more memory.
But when he starts, he sees only 3 GB.
The configuration of the BIOS shows all 4 sticks of 1 GB.
I ran the test memory Windows startup, and it shows all 4 GB and it extracted all OK.
But, the properties of PC watch 4GB installed, 2.75 GB usable.
I confirmed that Max Memory has been disabled in the MSCONFIG startup parameters.
Googling has provided advice to set up activate Memory Remap in BIOS - but there is no such setting, in fact, there are NO parameters associated with the memory in the BIOS.
I am running the latest version of the BIOS - there is no update.
I use an add-in video card GeForce and hoped there will be a setting in the BIOS to avoid system memory allocated to the integrated video chipset, but only focus on the video entry is to choose what video is the main, and I already defined on PCI - E.
I am at one loss as to what else to do...
Hello:
What you see is probably normal for a PC with an AMD chipset this old.
I know for a fact that on a desktop computer Intel, you must run with a chipset 965 or newer which takes in charge of 8 GB of memory or more, so that Windows to "see and use" 4 GB of physical memory.
These PC that can support 4 GB memory shows the same amount of memory usable net as a 32-bit operating system.
There is nothing you can do about it.
I guess the same goes for AMD platforms... you probably have a PC with a chipset that can take over 8 GB or more memory on order for Windows to "see and use" all of the 4 GB of physical memory.

My wife was using her recovery of system on its flag, when we had a power outage for about a minute. She tried to restart the computer, but we get a blue screen saying there was an error and we need a system recovery disk. Well my wife never had time to do a computer system recovery disk. I was just wondering what we can do to solve this problem. Can we get a recovery disk HP system and if so how much it will cost. She has the operating system windows 8 on it.
The product number is H3Z36AA #ABA and serial number is {deleted personal information}.
We checked and its HP Pavilion is still under warranty. S thank you very much in advance.
You can order drives recovery HP HP HERE or the third party provider ComputerSurgeons.com HERE. The disks should cost $27 or less, depending on where order you from.

Windows 2008 R2 as operating system supported for vCenter Server?
Hi you all, experts
In http://www.VMware.com/PDF/vSphere4/R40/vsp_compatibility_matrix.PDF it says that Windows 2008 R2 is supported as the operating system on the server vCenter.
In http://KB.VMware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US & cmd = displayKC & externalId = 1022137 R2 is not mentioned.
Then...
Is R2 platform support?
I read the correct documentation that SQL 2008 Express is NOT supported as vCenter database?
Are questions about wheter it works - it is questions about knowledge if it is supported.
Concerning
André
Hello.
In http://www.vmware.com/pdf/vsphere4/r40/vsp_compatibility_matrix.pdf , it says that Windows 2008 R2 is supported as the operating system on the server vCenter Server.
R2 is not mentioned in http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=1022137 .
Then...
Is R2 platform support?
What is listed in the compatibility matrix is correct, then Yes.
I read the correct documentation that SQL 2008 Express is NOT supported as vCenter database?
Yes. Use you it as a database, or just use the SQL SERVER 2005 Express that comes with vCenter?
Good luck!
