  My pavilion dm4t-1100 computer slows down a lot when I connect it to the power source. I don't know what could be the problem or how to fix it. I thought it might be a BIOS issue, but there is no option to change the voltage in the BIOS.

  In fact, I found that a defective AC adapter was causing the CPU usage up to 100% and slows down computer. I went to the best baught and buy a new one. Laptop works as soon as the rocket now.

  After the upgrade to win 10 col just worked until the last update. It started to operate intermittently between 'work' or 'pause '. I deleted the program and installed sp71729. The installation seems to have loaded ok but now the data user is unaccessable. The new program wants the files with name extension (*.opi) while the old name extension (*.tsd) and not recognized by the program. Is there a conversion or should enter our secure Web sites when we teach the new Simple pass all of our usernames and passwords?

  sp71729 installed the program series 8 HP SimplePass, written by Softex.

  You were (already) running 6 HP SimplePass series program, originally written by AuthenTec (before they sold the company to Apple and disappeared).

  The two programs are completely different code - series 8 HP SimplePass is not an 'upgrade' to the 6 series.

  You can switch between the two series--they may not be on the computer at the same time.

  Ok... There is no conversion program - companies are / were competitors on the market.

  Yes, you must enter all the site / password information when you switch series.

  You might be able to return to the series 6 - assuming you want to do - IF you can find a driver of validity (for your fingerprint reader) sensor at least Windows OS 8.x.

  The last program of AuthenTec series 6 HP SimplePass - with a suitable driver for the fingerprint reader - works in Windows 10.  The only downside may be that it won't make any further development for the series 6 HP SimplePass code - the company that wrote the code no longer exists.  The good news is that the 6 series is a particularly robust program and it can continue to function in Windows 10.

  You receive error messages? If so, what are they?

  It works if you manually on the site which was on SimplePass and use the fingerprint reader to connect?

  Your laptop supports only the connection SATA II is a bit useless to buy any SATA III SSD that they will operate as SATA II disks. The service manual indicates that DM4 laptop support SSD 160GB drives, so all SSD should work as I do not think that the ability is a limit. OCZ, Intel, Corsair and a few others have good readers then choose one of the series SATA II of these manufacturers. I've seen some cases that a SATA III SSD did not work but a SATA II we did on older laptops. Maybe the newer controllers SATA and the old BIOS may cause some compatibility issues...

  I see that you are having problems with the fingerprint on your laptop reader. It is quite possible that was caused by an update that is mentioned in this document. Impossible to connect to Windows with SimplePass fingerprint reader

  I bought a HP Pavilion with a intel processor core I5 and Windows7 64 bit a year ago and i ' ved checked the warranty and it has already expired... in any case, the laptop doesn't have a few days back, (error was due to hard drive SMART error-301).

  I had just chaknged the hard drive, and the recovery was not an option then... long story short... do a full reformat was done...

  My unit came with the Simple Pass from HP and the quick launch (if I can't connect my operating system a quick check on the web I can use it) I can't re install thses two.  Can someone direct me to where I can download and install it on my computer?

  Half the time I try to sign into my favorite sites with log-ins that I type in my information, close go, tap NO to do simple pass I want to add to the list and then nothing happens. If I press the sign in again then simplepass opens again and nothing happens until what I restart my laptop then its usully OK again.

  Can I safely just uninstall simplepass without creating problems to come as if I didn't use it anyway.

  You can uninstall HP SimplePass as usual since entering programs and features - when the uninstallation is completed, restart the laptop.

  Hi, my just out wonked HDD DM4T - 1100 HP and I am doing a new installation for Win 7 x 64. I got the OS running, but I can't seem to get complete drivers and the HP software. Can someone point me to the right direction? The HP download site drivers do not seem to have the right drivers for the reader to finget prints since it is not detected by Simple past well it shows in Device Manager. Or... the system partition and recovery of my old drive is always detected using an external USB enclosure. Is it possible to use these?

  If you can read the files from the old hard drive, look for a SWSetup folder and who should have the installation files for the drivers and the software that came with your laptop.

  I don't think you can do anything with the recovery partition. This is a picture of the system and I do not think, it can be explored, but you can try it and see.

Unfortunately today, I pressed on the do not see the message box thought I would still be able to use it. However, I soon discovered, that I can't use simple past on my gmail account. I can always use it on my facebook account. It's really frustrating for me because I really liked the simple pass on my gmail account. I'm at a loss. I pressed on turn off and turn on the account of the simple pass program in 2012. I am very angry. Can someone help me please? I just want to use simple past on my gmai account again.
