  I'm trying to get an extended display of my laptop to an external display.  I have Windows 8.1, the 64-bit operating system.  My second monitor is an HP w2007, connected with cable (for computer) HDMI to a DVI (to watch).  The computer detects the second screen and will duplicate.

  When I display extend, I can't move the windows to it.  I see just the wallpaper and the taskbar, but my mouse can't go beyond the limits of the screen of the laptop.

  I just realized that my extended display is if I move the windows on the right.  I kept trying to the left!  I was also able to change the direction by defining the display properties.  So, my question is resolved!

  So, my computer started to shut itself down and random reboot sometimes freezes and hangs itself without having to restart and I have to turn it off by holding the power button.
  He started with a 0601 error in the newspaper that I changed the cmos battery and the problem seems to have stopped for awhile, I had once a 0305 error, but after that everything seemed normal until I now the random reboot and gel (I get no error code).
  After the Cmos pass I also an everynow ' 502 reset cmos ' and here, but I can always start the computer after pressing ENTER. I updated the bios to the version latest incase it was the bios and the issue is still ongoing.
  When the computer restarts it sometimes reboots with half of my ram just so I have to restart again.
  
  I think it could be a hard drive problem, but that's assuming only. Even if it passes the quick test, but I'll do the full test today. I can be on the computer without the main dough and only the AC adapter.  (this started to happen just after I had windows 10 don't know if it's a coincidence and I restored it to factory settings once after than to try to fix it)

  Hi, I have recently updated my laptop to Windows 10. He had so many problems and I didn't like it at all, so I just returned my laptop to Windows 8.1.  Since then, my laptop does not correctly every time, and the fan immediately starts to work as well. I can start my pc and connect to my home screen each time.  If the tile is moving or light up when I move my cursor, then I know that I can use my laptop for a little while. It can freeze after getting out a good program. Other times when I start my laptop, everything is dead except for logging on my screen. My Windows key on the keyboard does not work most of the time.  If the screen does not respond the first time I turn, as described above, I can't absolutely nothing on my pc. I can't access the search bar by moving the cursor to top right, I can't open the tiles, I can't spend in desktop mode, etc.  Front I upgraded to Windows 10 and downgraded to 8.1 all worked perfectly, because I've updated from 8.0 to 8.1 Windows almost 2 years.  I have a defective battery. in fact I can only use my laptop if it is plugged. My fan is constantly going, but I don't know if it's my loss of battery or what's wrong with my pc now.  I have described my problem in the Microsoft community forum but have had little response that was not helpful. I was told to go to the command prompt and put in DISM: scan now (which also contained letters more than that, but I do not remember all). I followed the instructions and for 2 days, my pc seems to do better. Then he returned to this problem again.   Hello and thanks for the display on the HP support forum.  What you can do at this point that there are several updates released by microsoft and hardware vendors is running the Windows Update Troubleshooter.

  If this fails to solve the problem.  The only option will be to restore the operating system to the previous, until HP gets the drivers so that they can release them on the support page for your laptop for Windows 10.

  My 3 year old hp pavilion x 2 removable 2 in 1 touch screen works only if detached from the keyboard.  It has been for the last couple momths stop without warning whenever it was moved slightly while attached to the keyboard. Now it doesn't work at all and stops as soon as I connect it to the keyboard. Everything else works fine. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

• Pavilion dv6 3042-TX: my laptop is overheated more quickly than the 2 minute noodles.

  To make your life easier so that you can do the same for me, here are the questions in a list:

  • As soon as I turn on my laptop, it takes about 2 minutes to heat up like fire.
  • When I browse the internet, watch movies or edit videos, it heats up so bad that at one point he burned really on the side of my thumb.
  • Due to overheating, the laptop is lagging so I want to break.
  • I don't have an antivirus installed yet, so I think it's one of the factors that is the cause of the overheating. I would appreciate it if I was informed WHY my laptop is overheating.
  • I have re-installed Windows. It is still overheating.
  • Whenever I unplug the charger, the power level immediately drops to 11 percent. So I have to stay connected AT all TIMES.
  • I can't put my laptop on a flat surface and hard; as the fire heats up and crashes. I have to keep high.

  Here are my questions:

  • Should I replace the fan in laptop? Or should I get a cooler?
  • Should I replace the battery? Who will correct the problems of power level?

  More great frustration in my life have laptop brand new, this for me.

  After that the laptop goes into mode 'sleep', I'm not able to go back to Windows. All light are there and watch as usual, but there is no Lenovo Welcome logo or any other sign of normal behavior. I can turn it off by holding the button market / stop, but when I turn back the problem is still there. Windows does not start.

  I was able to go back to Windows that day after leaving just laptop without any power and battery.

  I called Lenovo and they suggested to disable the standby modes use put into hibernation. I did it. When the screen saver started, something went wrong, computer got froze and I had to restart, but then again, black screen and no reaction.

  Anyone have any ideas?

  That's what I end up doing. OnKeyrecover does not work either so what spoke on the phone with Lenovo. Then he is gone now for repair.

I was, however, successful in finding the plug of your computer somewhere else and no. Bluetooth is indicated.   Well, you must make sure that the speakers are set as the default audio device. Try the following.

  1. Click Start, type 'Sound' and press ENTER. This will open the sound preferences window.
  2. Click on the speakers and the "set as default" button down.
  3. After you click OK, restart your computer.
  4. Display the result.

  Here's another solution, that you could use.

  Before you try the following, make sure that you can always read the character product activation key 25 on your label Windows COA (5 blocks of 5 alphanumeric games).

  An example of a COA label can be seen here.

  You can create a Windows 7 installation disc yourself using another PC - just download the good Disk Image ( it must be the same version that originally came with your laptop - IE Windows 7 Home Premium ) from the link below and use an app like ImgBurn to burn the ISO correctly on a blank DVD - a guide on the use of ImgBurn to write an ISO on a disc is here.  These Images are clean and a well respected source, however there are only limited versions available.

  Recently my 1110ax BIOS corrupted and m unable to get by any way mrntioned on the forums.

  Key combinations don't work not and this USB STICK.

  Now the service center guys say that the motherboard has problem and must be replaced. which I doubt completely.
