HP pavillian desktop: bluetooth

I have no bluetooth icon that I can find. I went to sevices.msc and start the bluetooth service, now it shows it works but I can't always find a bluetooth anywhere. My moto x phone looking for bluetooth devices and did not find my pc. can I view the service bluetooth running and still no bluetooth on my pc?  the pc is a little older than a year.

You are the very welcome.

Yes, he would.

It's just the native bluetooth software with all versions of Windows 7 and newer.

Mine also has... 'Bluetooth Support Service' set to run manually, and I know for an absolute fact that my HP dc7800 CMT does not have any material of bluetooth.

The service is useless without the corresponding bluetooth hardware.

Just get an external USB bluetooth adapter.

I got this one for my HP 8200 Elite CMT Business Office.

  • A printer Lexmark 6200 older use w/new HP Pavillian Desktop (w/Windows 8).

I try to install my printer Lexmark 6200 Series like in my new HP Pavillion p7 - 410 w/Windows desktop model 8.  Despite the use of the installation disc, my attempts have been refused, citing "DRIVER IS UNAVAILABLE.  Any suggestions?

    Thanks for your quick response.

Your opinion is very useful to determine that my printer with its existing pilot was not compatible with my new 64 bit of Windows 8 System.  I tried (online, on the website of Lexmark) to download a new driver but maintained this same response "not available".

As a 'last resort' effort, I called technical assistance of Lexmark, talking to a friend, Mike, who quickly determined that I needed a driver for Windows Vista.  He sent me the download, I installed it, and alas, I'm back in business!      I know, I know... Should given him from the gitgo!

  • HP p6310f pavillian: desktop memory

My daughter lives in another State and has visited a week before and dropped off an HP computer, p6310f.  I plugged in and turned it and it has 2 problems.  I will only address one at a time. The computer would not start.  I used my computer to search online to HP for the p6310f features.  I took a mental note on the specs.  I lit the p6310f and press F - 10 to look over the bios settings.  The profile for HP for the p6310f indicates the memory module DDR3 M2N78 - motherboard "is supported.  The BIOS tells me there are (3) memory modules DDR2 installed.  I checked the MB model number and that's okay.  I read the info on the memory modules and they are DDR2.  Is the spec HP p6310f bad sheet when declaring the M2N78 - THE motherboard only supports DDR3 memory strips, or are the memory modules DDR2 badly installed?  I don't know the history of this computer and my daughter she recently obtained a military person being transferred abroad.  I would appreciate any information anyone can provide on this issue. Thank you

    Hello:

It seems that the info attached to the support page for this model may be incorrect.

Here is another page, the same motherboard having demonstrated that it has DDR2 memory.

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c01635734

If you have confirmed that the stickers on the memory of State it's DDR2 and so not the BIOS, then it's DDR2.

It is physically impossible install memory DDR2 DDR3 slots and vice versa.

The notch in the memory is divided into different locations on DDR, DDR2, and DDR3 memory.

DDR types operate with voltages different and incompatible with other DDR type.

That's why the notches in the memory are cut in different places.  To avoid shorting the motherboard or memory modules by installing the memory of the wrong type.

    1. wireless keyboards (currently sold) can be grouped into 2 categories:

Consistent and 2.4 GHz wireless Bluetooth owner.

2 mouse and Bluetooth compatible keyboards are largely targeted for laptops and Tablet (Android largely) use.

The choice of models is limited desktop Bluetooth keyboards.

Since both of my offices are able to Bluetooth 4.0, it was a great disappointment.

    3. industrial property wireless (2.4 GHz) are largely provided by HP and Logitech (Unify).

I did find 2 business solutions to work.  :-(

4 HP doesn't have 'a brand' its keyboard and mouse wireless technology, and there is little documentation on the solution or interoperability with other HP keyboards...

  • HP 251z desktop PC: Bluetooth

How do I find Bluetooth in my computer (HP 251z desktop computer) I went to the settings and see that "connect" not "bluetooth."

If bluetooth isn't here (which seems odd to me in a brand new 2015 computer) how can I add?

    Thank you!!

    @Meenie50

Thanks for the update, I'm glad it helped. As Bluetooth adapters, USB type, I've been suggested that you should be pretty standard in terms of compatibility. Make sure just that when you look at them that they are compatible with Windows 10, in order to avoid this kind of driver issue.   In some cases, the device will have its drivers on the device itself.

The other thing to know is what you look at. If you only need Bluetooth, then it will be probably cheaper that to get a dual band wireless adapter, which also includes Bluetooth.

    I hope this helps.

  • Wireless with bluetooth Thinkpad T510i onboard Comfort Desktop 5000 link.

    Hi all

I have a Lenovo Thinkpad T510i, and that you have purchased a Microsoft Wireless Comfort Desktop 5000, which comes with keyboard and mouse.

I want to use the bluetooth on-board T510i instead of use the provided Microsoft bluetooth usb dongle.

The built-in bluetooth can not find wireless products. Wireless products have no bluetooth pairing button.

They work with the usb dongle.

How can I make them work with the built-in bluetooth?

    Thank you

No, it's a regular wireless connection (albeit a pretty strong).  Bluetooth is something other eintirely - although it is also "wireless" it uses a completely different technology and a computer compatible bluetooth ONLY connect to a device compatible bluet00th (read the card to say 'adapted to the Bludtooth' in them or it was certainly not included - since it is a device that they would certainly be legal).

    Sorry!

    Good luck!
