If so you will not be able to activate the operating system is an OEM manufacturer and will only work with the original system.   To connect the laptop to the network via a wireless router, you must contact your Internet (FSI) Service Provider for wireless networking.

  You may also check if the router is compatible to be used as wireless.

  You can have the creative cloud installed and signed in on two computers as long as you don't use it on one at a time. Download and install as you did on the first computer, sign in to your Adobe account on the Adobe using your Adobe ID website, download the desktop app from clouds, then download the software.

  Hello, I just bought this laptop at HP online, and everything seems to work perfectly EXCEPT when I plug my headphones to listen to a "video, say on FB", or for example, ' big brother live feeds ' on CBS, even with the sound on full volume, I hear only vaguely voices.  It's weird because when I play I heart Radio with them, they work perfectly, commericals and everything?  What can I do to fix this?  The headphones are NOT the problem obviously.   Thanks in advance.  Jane

  I found a document for you called HP PCs - resolving the headphones and headphone problems (Windows 8). This document is included troubleshooting to help you get the right sound from your laptop using headphones.

  1 have you tried plugging a different set of headphones or external speakers to see if it's compatible?

  2. If you click your Volume icon while your headphones are in and you're on Facebook, play a video, is there a separate listed Volume control?

  3 have you tried to use the HP Support Assistant to update all of your drivers?

  4. how speakers work without headphones on Facebook or Big Brother Live Feed?

• No CD/DVD ROM detected in my HP Pavillion laptop drive.

  My cd/dvd rom drive is missing from my HP Pavilion laptop, I got tired to remove the drivers from registry with the upper and lower filters, but it still does not work. The drive gets power and it opens and closes as it looks like its reading for a quick second and then it stops. I can open the player who says he gets power, but I can't understand whats going on.   Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both
  ends. Remove and replace, do not just tight. For laptops, you can often clean power and

  Open windows control panel, open programs and features, make a right click the entry for HP 3D DriveGuard and select uninstall.

  When this has completed, restart the laptop.

  When windows has reloaded, download and install the version of HP 3D DriveGuard on the following link.

  Put the 256 GB SSD in your laptop and use the 10 Windows install media. My understanding is that when your equipment has enabled with Windows 10 on an upgrade of active Windows 7 or 8, you can reinstall a clean installation and activation servers will recognize your hardware and activate.

  You are not limited to hard drives listed in the service manual. This is what HP sold. Just as you can put any tires on a car, not just those offered Chevrolet.
