  I get the popup "update" whenever I connect to my computer and it gives me an error message but no code error. The update starts at 0% and stays there indefinitely.

  It's VERY frustrating because on top of working 10 hours today, I have now lost another hour, trying in vain to find a solution.

  By quitting their stand alone suite (CS5, 6 etc) and later support for it, Adobe has FORCED me to use their Cloud Creative suite subscription. While I HATE not being able to buy a standalone program, I like the CC Suite and I'm PAYING for this subscription that provides the latest updates. Now, all of a sudden the updates will not download and install and Adobe wants me to follow a set RIDICULOUSLY long and complicated steps to solve the problem? It's a complete and absolute nonsense!

  I am a self-controlled, respectable and intelligent individual, but it makes me want to use profanity! I HAVE NO TIME FOR THIS NONSENSE.

I used the CD that came with the printer to try to re - install, but it is said that the Windows operating system is not compatible with this printer.   Please become a member of the HP's Support Forums. I understand that you have a problem with reinstalling the printer. I would like to help you to solve this problem today.

  If Setup USB, please disconnect the USB cable from the computer.

  If wireless make sure the WiFi light on the right side is on and solid.

  Here is a link to download HP printer install wizard for Windows. It will check your system and find the best software to install.

  My C4780 will not install on my computer laptop dv7. I downloaded the current software on the HP site and tried to use the disc that came with the printer. In both cases, that the installation program begins to run, goes through four steps and when it is installing updates, it disappears from the screen. I do not understand that because it has been installed and operating at once through my wireless network and still work on my desk. I totally uninstalled all the software before you try to reinstall. I even checked to ensure that the appropriate records were in place after not install for the first time. I went through this about six or eight times, try different things each time. I also disabled my antivirus (Panda Cloud AV) and that made no difference. At this point, I'm out of ideas and really need help. I also read some relevant posts in this forum without good results.   Sorry it took so long to get back but things have been hectic. I really believe that my problem was one or more files that are damaged somewhere, so I took the easy way and installed Windows 10. After that I installed the printer and everything is fine now. But I really appreciate your help.

• Software printing will not be re - install

  Have a Photosmart C7250 and included software became corrupt so I uninstalled it.  Downloaded the last full package and tried to install, he thinks the system it is always installed and even if it goes through 4 steps, no software is installed when you are finished.  I suspect one incomplete uninstall as reason.  Print driver is there, but scanner software and HP monitor is no where.  How can I install the complete package?

  I tried the cleaning brush included on original floppies, but it did not work.  My software has been updated over time, so I downloaded the latest version and found the cleaner as shown in the answer below.  It worked!  All the remains were removed and I had a clean install and printers and software works better than ever.

  It may be good to recommend the latest version of the scrubber since HP update running, many packages are updated automatically and may require the latest version of the scrubber.

  I spent over 10 hours on the phone with Technical Support, Cloud Computing service and an escalation of HP handler.  The escalation of HP Manager ran a cleaner tool to remove completely all HP printer software and reinstalled.  Now, everything works except for analysis.

  Using Scan of the computer for the printer display gives, "make sure that the HP printer software is installed.  I can, however, scan-to-one chip memory inserted in the computer, but is produces a jpg file and I need PDF.  All scanning software worked before technical support and escalation of HP is involved.

  I discovered that Windows has made a number of updates to security on my computer.  Therefore, windows do not see the 7510 as a device scan and judged that he was a suspect and deactivated engine part analysis of the HP software.

  Reinstall the printer as a wireless printer, and then by reactivating the printer to scan, my HP software came back and now everything works as advertised.

  I think you were on the right track.  Then analysis stops on an HP printer without apparent reason, check if there's any recent Windows updates.  If so, reinstall the printer as a new wireless printer.

• HP psc 2510 photosmart driver will not work

  I recently bought a new HP all-in-one, so I gave my old all-in-one for a friend. It's a HP psc 2510 and I'm having a problem installing the printer driver on their PC. Windows XP

  I tried to use the original CD supplied with the printer (version 3.1.1) as well as the version of the entire network and the basic version of the site hp.com (version 4.2.1). In all cases, the results are the same. The program will not work.

  In the case of the downloaded version, I see the files extract to a temporary location until 100% then nothing happens once completed. With the original CD when I run the setup.exe screen flashes and then nothing happens.

  I don't know how to solve this. I wonder if Microsoft changed something during a Windows update that affects this installation?

  I tried the version CD and downloads on 2 other PC with the same results. I even downloaded the XP on a Vista PC version to see if it would go at least after the extracted files and they do not have.

  Can someone please download the driver for this printer on their PC and let me know if it runs once it has extracted all the files? Maybe HP has a file corrupted on their site?
