  Hello:
  I use an HP running Windows Vista 32 bit Home Premium laptop.
  I had already completely uninstalled my HP Photosmart C6280 all-in-one printer.
  Today, I reinstalled it using the CD-ROM supplied with the printer.
  When I went to print a MS Word document, I have not received the normal game
  Print settings/options to choose.
  I could not choose automatic double sided printing: it was not in the drop-down list.

  When I chose to print from the file menu of Word, a print dialog box open: this is the title was the HP Photosmart series 6200 Document properties. From within this framework, I chose:
  Properties > tab shortcuts printing > general impression every day.
  in the lower right of this Panel, is a menu drop down titled "print on both sides.
  It offers the following options to select:
  Off, manual, booklet from left edge, right edge booklet.
  The "Automatic" option was missing from this list: previously it was manual above.
  I don't remember if the border left/right options were there before.
  Directly below this menu drop down is only for the selection of Orientation: Portrait or landscape.
  So now I'm unable to print 2-sided automatic.
  If I click on Duplex instead of General Everyday, I have briefly see the automatic word in the menu, but is replaced by manual. In addition, for this mode Duplex, Orientation drop me u is missing/hidden. I don't know if this is supposed to be that way.

  The problem: why I have more option to automatic 2-sided printing?

  Any ideas?

  I have the same problem with my C7280 and Win 7. Originally, this computer was connected wireless, who apparently does not have an automatic duplex setting. (I had to reload the driver several times with the help of HP to properly operate wireless because the HP Solution Center was not available...) Anyway, I have now linked the computer to the C7280 by wire... and duplexing "automatic" is not available. " Where can I find the option "enable double-sided printing? Or do I have to uninstall and reinstall the driver again? Thanx

  The duplexer should be available if wired or wireless.  The link for Vista/Win 7 Duplex Printing Troubleshooting Guide is here.  Sorry for the fault of previous hits, I've also updated the previous link.

  For Windows 7, click Start, devices and printers, click with the right button on the settings of device Photosmart c7200 series printer properties and the duplex unit installed, apply the value.

  Ah, I see - I thought you meant a fiber PAIR - not a single strand.

  He's right - the GLC-EX-SMD requires a pair of single-mode duplex fiber. So if you have only a strand that will not work.

  The BX type that allows you to use a single strand are compatible to reach the shorter (up to 10 km) application with the 3750-X. 40 km variants are NOT compatible with the X-3750.

  I bought a new computer that uses 7 (64 bit) of Windows operating system. I have attached a PSC 2410 Photosmart all-in-one printer. The auto-duplex feature is no longer available, manual duplex printing is available. When this printer was attached to the previous auto-duplex printer unit funtioned perfectly. Only change was to the old unattach & reattach again.

  This problem can be resolved or do I use the manual funtion?

  I can access the selection of the pilot very well.

  I discovered by another forum member who:

  1. for pages works properly, you must use Internet Explorer 10 or 11.

  It is a problem for some of us who climb to IE9 such as those who have Vista or a new install of W7.

  The workaround to get IE8 or IE9 to access the page of the pilot is to:

  1. activate the command bar at the top of the browser (click just to the right and check the option of command bar).

  2. then click on the small arrow to the right of the Tools menu.

  3. click on compatibility view settings

  4 uncheck use Microsoft compatibility lists.

  5. close and refresh the page.

  You will probably then a message you must run IE10 or IE11, but you can close this and get to drivers.

  Problem:

  Printer goes into sleep mode. After 25-30 minutes breaks the connection between the PC and the printer wireless. Beacon wireless is the same fashionable "sleep" and I see that the printer is connected to my router and there is internet connection. HP Print and Scan doctor sees the printer, but I can't wake the printer unless I restart it.

  What I've tried so far:

  I tried all the solutions offered hp.com; Reinstall driver, updating the printer software, setting static IP on the printer, static DNS servers, using HP print and Scan doctor.

  I've seen people questioned on this issue before and there is no solution. I really need help from HP!

  After days of research, the problem was finally solved! I applied the following steps below. Some steps may be unnecessary, I didn't waste my time knowing who.

  1. find your PC's DNS servers by typing ipconfig/all in CMD.
  2. assign a static IP address outside your DHCP range. For my Linksys router him between 192.168.1.100 to 192.168.1.150. So I put my static IP address as 192.168.1.20.

  To do this, click the button on your printer wireless. This will show the IP address of your printer. This type of your browser. Go/network/network address. Choose manual IP and write 192.168.1.20

  3 now come to section of the manual DNS server, and then type your DNS servers, you found before.

  4. open your HP printer program that must be installed with your driver. Utilities hit and update the IP address. Update your address with your static IP address.

  5. now go to your router settings. Find the wireless settings and change your not automatic standard 20 MHz radio band.

  6. change your standard channel to 6.

  7 find the wireless security and replace your WPA-personal security mode.

  8 disable UPnP

  9. This is the part of the KEY. Change the renewal of your key to 36000 seconds. (10 hours)

  10 go to the Windows Advanced Firewall. Enable all the disabled printer and share, entrants and outbond rules.
  I believe that the most important parts are affecting a static IP address outside your DHCP-range and change the key renewal time. I hope this works for you too

• Photosmart C6280 all-in-one: lost duplex printing

  It seems that several people have lost their two-sided printing option, me is understood. Options have been suggested, everything I tried without success. With me, this is a recent problem. My printer worked perfectly ok with Windows 10 but now the duplex module is not recognized although showing as installed. Is there anyone from Hp that can happen to the top with a solution?

  I understand that you have tried to uninstall and reinstall already. But I have the feeling that everything is installed properly.

  Please, try the steps in the following order:

  • Uninstall the software. Uninstalling the printer software.

  • Unplug the printer USB cable. (Only if connected by USB).

  • Clean boot the computer. How to perform a boot in Windows.

  • Disable all Antivirus programs. Disable Antivirus software.

  • Disable all firewall programs. The WF of end-to-end.

  • Create a new user account. Management of user accounts and connections (Windows 10).

  • Reinstall using the printer HP install wizard for Windows. (Wait for the software to tell you to plug in the USB printer cable. If connected by USB).

  Thanks for posting on the HP Forums!

  To turn off the demo on the printer mode, you will need to press the Setup (wrench) icon in the upper right of the printer.  Once in the Setup menu, press 'tools '.  Scroll down and you should be able to press "démo Mode" and turn it off.

  Automatic Print taken Deplexing supported only on letter, Executive, A4, and B5 (ISO) paper sizes, not on smaller sizes as A5.

  Manual duplex printing can be done using the Pages to print.

  The application used to print, open the print dialog box, and then click Properties / preferences / Options to access printing preferences screen. :

  • Click Advanced.
  • In the Pages to print select Print odd Pages only .
  • Click OK to print.
  • After the odd numbered pages of the document were printed, remove the paper from the output tray.
  • Reload paper in the paper tray with the White side facing upwards.
  • Return to the drop Pages to print , and then select print even Pages only .
  • Click OK to print.

  I have a new laptop Dell, Windows 7 64 bit computer.  I am able to download my printer (which is connected wireless), but I can't get the automatic duplex printing function to work. I bought this particular printer precisely to be able to do automatic double-sided printing. The downloads that I have tried do not work for Windows 7 64-bit. What can I do else?

  You should enable the option of automatic duplex printing:

   

  Go to control panel > devices and printers.
  Right-click the printer icon, and then click printer properties.
  Click the device settings tab.
  The accessory in Duplex face as installed two automatic and then click OK to save the change.

  Photosmart C6250 all-in-one use on Win 7 Home Premium 64-bit.  The duplex printing function works after having installed the driver, but after some time, double-sided printing returns to the manual.  The only solution I found is completely reinstall the driver.  Has anyone else had this problem (she also produced using Win 7 Pro 32-bit) or found a solution.  Thanks for your help.

  I didn't know the settings back, but next time it happens check the duplexer settings as described in the Vista / Windows 7 Duplex printing Guide here.  My guess woud be the parameter has somehow become "not installed".  This happens after an update?  I usually automatic guard update HP drivers off, I want to know when are pass updates.

• HP Photosmart 7520 malfunctions of e-all-in-one printer on the clock

  This e-all-in-one printer from HP Photosmart 7520 bought last week and cannot issue to reslove the awakening. Printer goes to sleep as the value, and to wake up, BUT with an error message on the display. I tried AUTO ON / OFF and different sleep wait times but nothing helped.  I can't believe the USB cable or the PC/software is to blame because the wake-up printer, but in a State of dysfunction and should now be in the off position, then press.   The following workaround solution should correct the problem - basically how to turn off the sleep function.  It works when all other options have failed to solve the problem: assigning static IP, small insect sacrifice, swearing, all sorts of settings...

  Be aware: I do not know the consequences - if any - turning off the sleep function.

  I have a HP Photosmart c7280 all-in-One printer and a Macbook Air running OS Lion (10.7.1).

  I'm trying and who need to print via the option "Double" that appears under the menu of "Layout" drop down tab option, the option 'Double' however seem to be grayed out as if you are not allowed to use it.  I'm sure this isn't the case, I don't know how to unlock but I guess?

  I just made sure all my software was updated and is currently.

  Everything is perfect on the printer and I used it for years, thank you!  I just want to know what on earth am I doing wrong or need to do to unlock this "Double-sided" parameter, so that I don't waste a ton of paper!  Thanks again!

  To actiate the two-sided accessory, you have to enable the printer settings:

  -Enter in System Preferences > print & Scan

  -Double-click the name of the Photosmart printer to open the print queue.

  -Click the printer setup button

  -Click on the driver tab and make sure the duplex printing accessory option is checked.

If after all that that my printer is still shows as "OFFLINE" when I try to print my laptop.  In the printers menu, he says he is now "Web-enabled" and gives me his own e-mail address...  So after 2 days of verification of Web sites to find answers, now I can not connect my laptop to my wireless printer more?  I need to print from anywhere in the world, I need to print from my home to my printer, wireless...  UGH!  Someone please help me, tell me it's something simple I'm missing just...

  HP ePrint lets you print from oveseas to your printer via the email address of the printer.
