  Photosmart Essential 3.5, I installed and it worked fine for a day or so, until I connected to my account. Since then, when I run the program it stops at the point where the 'Things to do' window is displayed. The program does not open any other and just stay there running. The Task Manager does not show it as a program non-comportement of the answer, but I have to use to exit the program. I tried to uninstall the program several times, but it always comes back to the same place to stall. I have tried Photosmart Essential 1.2 and it seemed to work fine.

  You have lots of photos on the disk? I guess it might take time for indexing of your photos? What happens if you leave for awhile?

  The simplest solution for me was to use my old Office Gateway with Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005.  I know that XP is no longer supported by Microsoft, but it still works a-okay.   Security software Norton is always updating XP.

  Photosmart Essentials still detects and automatically download my photos and detected panoramas are sewn automatically.  If i ' ts useful to keep an old computer to do things like this.  It is so easy to transfer the results on my Dell XPS laptop and backup drives.

• Photosmart C4280: Photosmart Essential 3.5 will not work after the Win 10 update

  The Photosmart Essential suite, which includes the scanning software will not work after the upgrade to Windows 10.   There is no message error that pop up or are listed in the event log.  Printing continues to function properly.    If the s/w is not compatible with Win 10 there the other scanning software free that I can use?

  HP Photosmart Essential 2.5 came bundled with my new a6750t Pavilion from HP with Vista 64 bit. The printer is HP deskjet 4300.

  The Photosmart app-related menus are very rare. I can't understand how to prevent the program opens whenever I plug something like my Ipod or USB key into a USB port. Photosmart opens up and wants to know where I want my photos imported into.  How can I stop the automatic opening of this program?

  Don't know if its possible Essentials 3.5 but it is very easy in windows itself. Access the photo in windows explorer, right-click and select print. Selecht the size of paper you use, and then select Pocket on the right. See my photo of example for more details.

  

• HP Photosmart Essential 3.5 freezes

  Recently, I upgraded to Photosmart Essential 3.5.  Unfortunately, once I loaded the program, it freezes immediately.  I left work for several hours, but no change.  The only way to shut it down was to use the Task Manager to end the process.

  Photosmart seems to crash when you connect when the library is set to import a directory containing a bunch of photos in it or its subfolders. (When you're not connected is not a problem). I disconnected from the internet to stop the shot. And I got rid of the association in this photo directory. In my case, the large photo directory was on a network drive that physically resides on one of my other PC. I don't know if it is a factor or not. Because when I disconnected my DSL cable of the my PC it disconnect me also to my network drive. But photosmart responded almost instantly.

  After that photosmart returns, go to 'Settings' and click on the "photo library" category option and then select the 'folder '. You should see a list of directories for your PC. Deselect the directories with lots of photos and revisit what you want photosmart to import, or how you want to organize your photos. I have not experienced with why photosmart will not play nice. Looks like a bug. At the very least, it should ask the user if they want to continue with all he's trying to do, rather than hang them it senseless. And HP should ensure that they test each version with a large number of photos as well as with a network drive.

  This isn't a solution, and I am not associated with HP. I don't know if I'll use photosmart in the future to organize my photos, because no other product didn't gave me this problem. Perhaps HP or someone in this forum will be research of this question a little further and debug the problem.

  Anyone know if the HP Photosmart Essential software for Photo editing, print and share allows me to print a Bordless printing the pictures on my HP Photosmart P1000 printer?  I noticed that this software is available for free download on the HP website.  I'm looking for a possibility to print that will allow me to print a Bordless (edge to edge) when I'm printing photos.  When I select print on my HP Photosmart P1000 printer, on the tab layout, there is no Bordless no print option.  This option is available on the HP Photosmart 7550 printer but not on the P1000 printer.  Can someone help me please?

  Sorry, P1000 is simply not able to print without margins, paper management is not designed for the printing of bprderless.

  It is strictly a personal preference.  If you don't need all the two would be nice to delete one of them.  However, having both on your computer will not be a problem.

• Photosmart Essential 3.5 - cannot get all the photos in the library

  I'm trying to create a CD label to print on a CD on my HP C5580 with an image from my library.  But when I go into my library, are there pictures that until 2013, and not all those who are there.  I tried to add/update the records from my pictures file on my computer, but cannot me, either because the folder is grayed or there is no pictures inside.  When I select the 'File' option in the library, recent files appear with the number of images () after it, but still, I can't select the folder.  I tried to import an image of a disc and the watch file, but with no picture.  Is there a way to get these missing images in my library?  And if not, is there any other software from HP that I can create a CD label to print on a CD on my HP C5580 printer.

  I uninstalled and reinstalled Photosmart essential 3.5 which did not help.

  I have read several other articles, and it seems that this problem is ongoing for several years and HP is not a solution.  A lot on blogs suggested trying Sure Thing Labeler disc.  So I went to their website and downloaded the 15 days trial version and it worked like a charm.  I used one of their models for the design of my CD.  I was able to use a photo of my photos file and used.  When it came time to print, I had to select Manual to put in some of the parameters for the C5580, but it perfectly printed on the disc.

  I intend to purchase the Sure Thing Labeler $6 29.95 disc, so that I can fully use my HP C5580.  Before get rid you of your HP C5580, try Sure Thing Labeler disc.

  I understand that your Photosmart Essential software has stopped working.  You tried to have the research of the computer for a solution without success.

  The Photosmart Essential software usually comes with the installation of the printer.  If you have your installation disc, try reinstalling from there.

  Here is a link to the HP Photosmart Essential software.  You will need to enter your model number and follow the instructions on the screen.

  If it worked before and you have not uninstalled the program, you could do a restore to where he worked.

  I left since Mr Microsoft Fixit find a faulty uninstall patch which he repaired.  I then uninstalled and reinstalled again and that fixes the problem.

  What you need to do is click on the MS ball and type in the word from the image file extension search engine.

  Common extensions are 1) jpeg and jpg) 2.
