HP photosmart Pro 8550 printer CB981A Printhead failure
Very, very disappointed to have a major failure of printhead on only the second set of cartridges down use printer so out of warranty not very impressed as a user of Hewlett Packard for more durable years of stuff very reliable & long usually off HP support time.
New print head is happened & mounted seems to have cured the problem the old printhead recicler?
Looking at the comments, I think that HP must focus its control of the quality, or sheet material component. Reputations take years to build and seconds to destroy. To quote the old adage 'don't spoil the ship for a halfpenny of tar value. "
I am a dyed in the wool HP man my previous printer is / was a workstation my PC HP xw6400 CXi Aging (still going strong used by my daughter) 970 my plotter a Designjet 750 c more. I tried an Epsom Photoprinter photos fine, using horrible ink. Don't let me down from HP!

HP photosmart pro b8350 print Windows 7 x 64 not available automatic duplex unit
I bought a photosmart pro b8350 back in 2006 or so to use on my XP64 system and added the print front and back in a short time module after. I upgraded to Windows 7 Professional 64 over a year ago and just recently installed the printer. I can't use the automatic duplex with the built-in driver option. I need to print a quantity just now that I have it back up and duplex printing automatically has been pretty well a need, as I have to leave the system unattended while I work on other projects. I really need to manually duplex everything now? If I switch to a new printer in the near future, he will also lose the functionality in the next years? I still can't use the advanced features of my scanjet 8300 that I bought in 2006, either. The driver has never fully supported XP64.

Maybe it's a bug in Windows 7. The duplexor is reported as not installed by default, so you need to change this
Go to the Control Panel, find the devices and printers, then click on it. Then right click on your printer icon and choose 'printer properties '. In the new screen go to the "Device settings" tab and under "automatic duplex print unit" set installation options on installed. Should be on is not installed by default, so change installed, then click on apply. Restart the software and perhaps even your computer and check that duplex printing is an option now.

Photosmart Pro B9180: Printer prints first imnage then print a test sheet
When I print an image in Adobe Photoshop CC then the printer automatically prints a sheet of test after that the first image is printed. What is going on? How can I solve this problem?

He double printing occurred in Photoshop. I ended up uninstalling the HP printer drivers and reinstall to fix the problem.

Printer paper partially load then the paperload button will Flash. It ejects the 1 piece of paper and prints on sheet 2. It has worked well for years & it just starts now.
It happens whenever I have print regardless of what program I can print.

Please get back to me regarding this issue of the paper. Due to the age of your printer I don't have not access to one in fact resemble the back of the printer and look at the rollers to check what is normal to see or not. By saying so, I cross reference to what you have explained to this image.
It seems that there should be 4 rollers rubber at the back of the printer. It is possible that if one of your rolls is missing it can result in paper or power problems another paper. The rollers are not replaceable parts. Therefore, if a roll must be defective, and because of the performance issues with your product a replacement of the entire unit would be necessary.
Because you have exhausted the troubleshooting steps for the same problem that I previously provided, the next step would be to replace the printer.

I have new ink cartridges, but it will only print in black. Grayscale is not on. I also cleaned the print heads several times and tried to line up, but this part came failure refers to the documentation. What are the documents? I would lov eto to be able to print in color again! Any ideas?

Only, it will not. My computer will recognize any other material, so this isn't the fault of the USB cables or ports, and I can run a printer HP installed above him. I have no success in the configuration of the connection between the MacBook and Photosmart 7510 to print wireless.

Try resetting your router and the printer. First of all, turn the printer off. Unplug the router and wait for about 30 seconds then plug it back. Expect that all of the lights to stabilize on the router. Once they have, go ahead and turn on the printer and try again.

Hello everyone,
the printer HP all-in-one Officejet Pro 8500 (A909a - product n. CB022A) clean the print heads whenever I turn it on. This problem affects any HP Officejet Pro 8500 printer, it is not a problem only of this one I bought. It is a boring bug and annoying because each power clean print heads on involves two bad disadvantages:
- waste of ink (each heads cleaning process consumes little ink);
- too much time (2-3 minutes) to prepare the printer after plugging.
I upgraded my printer with the latest firmware available on the HP site (firmware ver. DLM1FN1006BR), but the bug is still present.
At this point, I ask:
- There is a way (or procedure) to disable automatic cleaning this useless to all power on?
- Can we communicate with the HP engineers or tell me how to contact directly one of them to indicate the bug and request a new firmware updated?
Please don't tell me to leave the printer on all the time or that the printheads to each cleaning power is normal behavior! Where then are power and ink savings claimed for this printer model?

Maintenance when the printer is turned on is normal and is required to keep the printheads in good health (not blocked). See here for more information.
With respect to energy savings, the printer automatically goes to low power mode when the don't feel not for awhile. It is not necessary turn the unit on to save energy.

Photosmart Plus B210a print or copy black
My B210a Photosmart more to print or copy in black mode 'Copy' or 'Print PC'. Black cartridge is almost new and has worked for 2 weeks; color cartridges are between 25% and 33% of ink left. Colors will be printed, and there is no error message. Wireless printer works from a PC with Windows Vista.

Hi, if the printer is on a thing of warranty that may be worth soaking the print head...
(1) get a pan and put 1/2 "of very hot (not boiling) water in the bottom.
(2) remove all ink cartridges, then remove the print head Assembly.
(3) gently put the printhead nozzles down in water and soak for 5 minutes.
(4) remove the print head and gently dry the electrical contacts.
(5) replace the print head in the printer and then reinstall the ink cartridges.Can you please let me know how you go?

My HP Photosmart C6280 stopped printing and copying. I use a Mac OS 10.10.5. The printer seems to work, but no ink is on paper with a function.
I installed a new black ink cartridge and select "black only" with the same results. All the other ink levels are sufficient.
I would appreciate your help. The printer has been idle for a few days but a previous usage has been a success.

It looks like a problem with the printer ink. It may have dried due to non-use. I suggest that try you to perform a print head cleaning. Try the following steps:
- On the printer control panel, press 'Setup '.
- Press the down arrow button to select Tools and press OK.
- Press the down arrow button to select "Clean printhead" and press OK.
- If the print quality is acceptable, you can stop troubleshooting.
- If the print quality is unacceptable, perform a print head cleaning.
