  As part of the Toolbox (link 3) under one of the tabs, you may find the number of pages for the printer.

• PSC 2410 printer problem

  Try to get the PSC 2410 all in 1 printer at work.  It shows flashing 'on' light, animated hourglass icon on the screen, makes noises as if I try to print whenever I turn it on, but does not pull paper.  Sounds stop after 1-2 minutes, but printer remains inadmissible.  This seems to have originated when I accidentally disconnected the USB port while trying to remove a paper jam.  Have tried all the diagnostics, reset the machine by the orientation of the Web site, but no luck.  Goes into the same mode every time I start her if connected to the PC or not.

  I fear that once that happens there is little you can do. The printer had a fatal mistake in the firmware probably due to missed communication, you have described. The only way to try to resolve the problem of the firmware is to do a hard reset. It is not guaranteed to work, but it's the only thing you can try, unfortunately. I've included the steps below. If this does not work, you will need to replace the printer.
  
  To do a hard reset:
  1. make sure that the printer is turned on.
  2. pull on the power cord from the printer.
  3. pull out the power cord from the wall.
  4. wait for 30 seconds.
  5. plug in the printer and turn it on.

• HP PSC 2410 Photosmart all-in-one printer SLOW printing

  All of a sudden my HP PSC 2410 Photosmart all-in-one printer has started printing very, very, very slowly. If at all. It took almost 30 minutes (1/2 hour) to print only 1 page word document. I am on Windows 7 OS.

  Dialogue problems says everything is fine. An attempt to print a test page was even worse. He printed only the top 1/4 of the race and that it was illegible.

  I ran CrapCleaner, Norton full scan and I was able to print for about a day before the problem returns.

  I also had problems with copy. I noticed that the missing parts were color text or photos. There was no indication that the Tricolor cartridge was low or empty, but I replaced it in any case and VOILA... print is returned to normal and fine everyting.

  I would have thought there would be some am indicator when the cartridge is low, but it was not.

• Unit Auto-duplex of PSC 2410 Photosmart all-in-one

  I bought a new computer that uses 7 (64 bit) of Windows operating system. I have attached a PSC 2410 Photosmart all-in-one printer. The auto-duplex feature is no longer available, manual duplex printing is available. When this printer was attached to the previous auto-duplex printer unit funtioned perfectly. Only change was to the old unattach & reattach again.

  This problem can be resolved or do I use the manual funtion?

  The duplexer must be activated as described in the "Vista/Wixndows 7 Duplex Printing Troubleshooting Guide".

• Can't fax with PSC 2410

  I have a PSC 2410 I can't fax. He worked until a few weeks before, but now it makes a light static noise when it is to dial the number. All connections are correct

  I have a splitter to the phone line and fax on my phone line.

  I just disconnected line fax from the splitter and re plugged and sent a fax to the test of faxback system.

  IT WORKED. I must have inadvertently loosened the fax to the separator line some time in the past two weeks.

  While I insert the printer USB cable to the laptop, it runs the Windows Live Update automatically and fails in the final task, the installation of the driver. It says "hp psc 2400 series - has failed.

  Then I removed the USB cable, removed the device of "devices and printers", reboot the laptop and then tried to load the driver manually.   Thank you, Sean. It has not solved the problem. Instead, I got to know that this will work with the 'HP Deskjet 6980 series' pilot and his summer work after I chose that one through the configuration of the local printer.

  nlbertelsen, in your menu scan on the computer, there should be an option for 'Advanced' and in this menu, you can choose to analyze images as a PDF combined or separate pages.

  Yes, a laser printer is more economical in the long run if you run a business and make a lot of black and white printing.  Color LaserJet printers are economically about the same as your standard printer injet and printed images tend to have a quality of shinny, even on printed shadows.  If you use more for home use, I would stick with the lines of ink jet.  With the lines of inkjet you have two choices for quality, either a DeskJet, PhotoSmart an or an OfficeJet.  The PhotoSmarts are the best for printing and scanning of the images of high quality, low odds are they have traditional fax and they use more ink to print documents than other inkjet printers.  The line OfficeJet has traditional Fax and is more economical on ink usage, but he cannot match analysis and print quality the PhotoSmart line has.  DeskJet printers are printers economy.  They have the lowest initial cost, but offer the least amount of feartures.  It is ultimately your choice, depending on what you want more, economy and quality.  I've included links to the 4 different printers which I think would be good for you.  Look at them and compare the features.  One of them must be exactly what need you.

  I have a hp dv6700 PC pavilion, it was very although now it is leaving the impression with my HP PSC 2410. I deleted reinstalled and it errors out when you send a file to print. The printer will be fax and copy very well. Cannot print from my laptop. What can I do?

• Cannot scan HP PSC 2410 Photosmart 'all-in-one '.

  The function "scan" on my hp psc 2410 printer/scanner/copier/fax MACHINE used to work on my other computer running Windows 98 was, but I wasn't able to scan in Windows Vista.  The printer function works fine.  Is there a 'driver' that I'm missing?  Help, please!  I need to scan documents signed for my husband's business.

  I see you are having a printing problem of IE. I suggest you to reset the settings of the browser.

  Reset Internet Explorer default settings

  1. open Internet Explorer

  2. click on tools

  3. click on Internet Options

  4. click on the Advanced tab

  5 locate the section reset Internet Explorer settings

  6. click on the reset button

  7. click on Ok

  8. restart Internet Explorer

  Try to print again.  If it prints normally let us know.
