HP T5730 XPe SP - 3 TeemTalk 7.0 Soft buttons doesn't work not as expected

I am trying to program the soft keys in TeemTalk 7.0.  I built 'scripts', by using the build in tools.

When I open a saved session keys are displayed as expected.  However by pressing one of the

key does not execute the associated scripts. A sample script name is<'s:\hp-T5730\login.spt'>

It I open the script editor and click on run it works?  Now, if I click the softkey, it works.

Output and reruning TeemTalk 7.0 then opening the recorded session fills the softkeys as expected

However by clicking on one of them does not run the script unless I am forst open in 'Tools', 'Script '.

I am at a loss.

Dave,

Upgrade to 7.3.5 solved problems and I got a copy for Windows which works very well.

Thanks for your help.

  • 7.3 TeemTalk screen scratch help

We currently use DDE from VB app to scrape data from sessions Teemtalk 4.1 (Win XP).

We are migrating to Windows 7 so have installed Teemtalk 7.3, but the DDE link does not work, is always taken DDE in charge and if so what LinkTopic should I use.  If not Teemtalk 7.3 supports other APIs such as OLE so I can scrape data from a VB application.

    Thank you

    Hello

I fear TeemTalk 7 does not support DDE (TeemTalk 4), or COM (TeemTalk.2000) or HLLAPI (TeemTalk 4 & some versions of TeemTalk.2000 / TeemTalk 6).

AFAIK TT7 is the only version currently available.

TT7 includes the TT4 scripting language which includes methods to scratch the screen, write to the file, exec other programs...

I can suggest only looking at this to meet your needs.

  • Auto new imaging HP T610 problem

I have a bunch of new T610s from HP that I need the image. I used one to create the environment I want, and I can manually copy this image to the HPDM, then manually deploy that image on a new (self discovered) thin client.

When I add a "rule" for first Contact Rules:

    Name: Auto Image

Filter set (all criteria, IP address contains 10.22 which is the first two parts of all our internal IP space, I really want to a filter that would say all/all) if I click on generate a list of devices, it shows all existing devices.

    Trigger: first Contact

    Operating system: HP WES/XPe

    Category: imagery

: Model 20131118 rule (self created when I took the picture manually)

    Activated: ticks

When I plug a new HP T610, it is automatically detected by HPDM (DHCP specifies the HPDM) and then proceeds to restart in a cycle, and never made the task of imagery.

    The HPDM log shows:

Card to the master repository repository

Special Envoy to the device management gateway

Task has been retrieved by the Agent

Task has been retrieved by the Agent

Task has been retrieved by the Agent

Task has been retrieved by the Agent

Task has been retrieved by the Agent

etc., until I cancel the job

Reset the status of the task to cancelled

Can someone tell what I could be doing wrong, or how I can make this work? Should I manually start a task image, is the "first time" works not properly, I have to narrow the filter to avoid 'already seen' devices somehow?

    Thanks for your suggestions.

Thanks for your suggestion, I checked that the devices already come with the new version of the agent.

I found/solved the problem, which I had changed the settings by default in:

Tools-> Configuration-> task settings-> write filter, WOL and adjournment of the task

I changed it to "run regardless of the State of the write filter.

So obviously the thin client was sent to the statement to start the task of imaging, rebooted, then collected the statement again from the beginning etc... creation of the loop.

Once I changed this back to the ' If write filter on restart to clean the overlay, to execute and to commit and then restart for commitment is taken into account ", everything works perfectly.

    Hope this helps someone else...

  • HPDM XPe to upgrade to WSE7

Hi, we just install HPDM 4.6SP3 on thin clients XPF (about 400) a lot on our network and we would upgrade to We7. Is this possible with HPDM?

    I'm new user with HPDM.

    Thank you

For 64-bit system: WES7P and WES8, you can get the agent of your repository package (for example '... \Repository\Agents\HPWES7_64 ') and deploy directly with GP.

I fear for another 32-bit system, you should ask the technical advisor in your area for a special.

We change the mechod generation of agent DM on 32-bit systems to support the facility directly.

  • Mr. Fixit for Windows XPe

I have a thin client, PC running XPF. I use it to run a magicJack internet phone. Everything was going well until the magicJack has attempted to update. I kept getting a message 'ERROR BROKED STORAGE'. I worked with one of their technicians to run a Mr. Fixit solution and the magicJack started working again. The next time I start the PC, it has yet. I tried the fix on two thin clients with the same results.

I am now upon the magicJack on a Windows 7 Home Premium x 64 machine quad core which is clearly overkill for that request and I really want to use the workstation once again so I can stop the powerful computer when I not use it actively.

I think that the solution of Mr. Fixit was not retained during startup. These patches can be applied to an embedded operating system? Is there an action should I take to make this a permanent fix?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Hi MarkPhillippi,

I suggest that you post your question on the Fixit tool in the slot mentioned forum.

  • HP DM 4.5 SP2 cannot capture an image of WES2009 of T5740

We use Altiris and have problems with PXE. To deploy images that we intend to migrate to HP Device Manager 4.5 SP2. Installed on a Windows 2008 R2 and FileZilla Server. EVERYHING works fine, but when I capture an image from a thin client WES2009 T5740 custom image will not capture. The thin client EBOOT 2 times and installs some files on the workstation. After the installation of the files, the thin client is reset each time in Windows. You see a HP backupground. A windows Device Manager is popping up and restarts the workstation. No idea why it does not work. If I capture an image Windows XPe to a T5730 capture with FTP works fine. With T5740 WES2009 won't yet make the FTP connection. I tried an old image of WES2009 and the last image of WES2009. It does not work.

Today I installed the Device Manager in the production environment. The mentioned in the above 2 posts is a facility in the environment of the OTA. In production it works. Image captured from the Device Manager is saved with the option of shared folders.

  • Reverse question - "T" multiscreen

I have a problem when you use 3 monitors in an inverted "T".  If I launch the Client view without any GPO setting or command line and select MultiMonitor menu drop down, everything displays correctly.  However, if I try to pass the parameter multiscreen - desktopLayout, or use a GPO to force the multiscreen, the Office will open full screen only on the lower left monitor.  If I rearrange the monitors to be 3 horizontal line, the command line parameter and the GPO work as expected.  The view connection server, Client and Agent are all version 4.6.0 and the office pool is configured correctly to PCoIP and 3 monitors resolution of 1600 x 1050.  The endpoint is a thin client HP T5730 under Windows XPe SP3.  After having tested a little more, I also noticed that whenever I have move the 3rd monitor higher screen 1 and 2 the problem occurs ("L" layout has the same problem as the "T" reversed).  Anyone else see this question (or someone else can recreate)?  Normally this wouldn't be a big problem for me, but the customer must in this case all settings other than the username and password that have been forced to limit the interaction from the end user.  Any ideas?

    -Jim

    Hi Jim,.

It is a known issue, when the command line parameter is read, the client not yet know it is a connection PCoIP and guess he can't make an adjustment of the non-rectangle screen. Unfortunately, there is no work around, you will have to wait for the next (minor) version to solve.

  • "Dual monitor Expand" doesn't work is not for t5740 with WES 2009.

We do the following procedure to configure all our years TC bi-ecrans.

    1. flash the tC, customize it to our needs.

    2 join to the domain

    3. log in with Admin Creds, change default display settings: display properties-> settings tab-> "extend my desktop windows on the second monitor"-> apply

    4 validation EWF, logoff

    5. now, Login as any domain user for the workstation mode extended.
    works great for t5630 (xpe sp3) & t5630w (WES 2009) & t5740 XPF 2002

BUT it fails with t5740 with WES 2009

the above parameters are only to the Admin account, any other user domain/local get one active monitor.

can write us any script/group policy settings to do

Could someone help me solve this problem.

    Thanks in advance

  • Computer thinclient to Zeroclient

    Hi all

is it possible to "downgrade" HP Thinclients (t510, t5000, t5730, t5740, t610/620) to a logical Zeroclient still using OS (i.e. ThinPro).

We have many different Thinclients which are not used as Thinclients at all and was "managed" manually in recent years.

I want to centralize management using HPDM (4.6 SP4 is up and running, the TCS is discovered) and give users access to our Citrix environment.

I know from other sellers (Eyse, IGEL), there is what we call a 'device Mode' available where no Windows not embedded or embedded Linux is from, instead a purified composed of the kernel Linux, Shell and ICA-Client (receiver) runs and starts just a GUI logon.

Using the WES7 KIOSK mode for example is not exactly what I would have because there is always a running Windows that is a potential risk in the opinion of our security officer. Also, I have different Images with different operating systems to maintain and I want to minimize the time to manage it.

Once again: Y at - it OS of HP ONE that I can run on my Thinclients and would fullfill my "wishes"?

Thank you very much in advance,

    Daniel

    Well, I did it myself.

The doesn´t of FLGRX driver supports the X 1250 chipset installed on t5730/40.

After an update of FLRGX, deleted package FLRGX and the relocation of xorg radeon I am able to run the system on old and new TCs.

    In any case thank you.

  • WSN and PTC

These wireless sensors are great and now I am trying to find different application uses for them. Is is possible to get the sensors using the touch panels... more precisely the TPC-2106

    Thank you

    Hi JChec,

I'm glad you like the new WSN measurement nodes.

Yes, you can access the IO of WSN on a TCP. The I/O variables that are used to I/O read/write are supported on Windows CE and Windows XPe.

The only thing that probably will not work on Windows CE are the screws to host WSN, which are used to send and receive messages from the string-based user. If you need support for this or other advanced features of LabVIEW, the most recent PPV running XPe pretty much full desktop offers support for LabVIEW.

What do you use WSN nodes for currently?

  • Use DAQNAVI with CVI2012

    Hello

We have an application under Labwindows 8.0 with ADSAPI for Advantech PCM3718 Board drivers. It is perfect with Windows XPe.

Now, we must use Windows Embedded Service 7: drivers for PCM3718 are no longer the same, but are passed to the DAQNAvi architecture.

At the same time, to be in the movment, we move our suite of dev LabWindows CVI 2012 and our goal is 64 bit (instead of 32 bits).

As a result, the application is no longer compile: libaspi32 is no longer valid.

We have not found a way to integrate this new DAQNAVI of the project: How can we create .lib?

I also ask edge forums provider (Advantech) but it is, for the men in the middle.

    Concerning

PS: all examples delivered with the driver are in c#, C++ or BV, no loan directly to the CVI :-(

This has been resolved with the support of the team of France nor.

We moved all the vi of exploitation to a DLL and calls these functions. Of course, it is probably a lot of time compared to a direct call to a function in the driver, but it works, and later we will look at how to optimize it.
