• Windows Vista. I can't restore data from backup after reinstalling windows.

  I have a 10.2 database runs on Linux without a recovery catalog archivelog mode.
  I created backup current controlfile.
  Then, I created tablespace 'data' and a table with a few lines inside.
  Then I deleted all the controlfiles and the data file from the tablespace 'data '.

  RMAN > restore controlfile from autobackupp
  RMAN > restore data from the tablespace.

  There is a complete recovery (which means your controlfile is up-to-date, and you get so far) and incomplete recovery.

  If you do not issue
  until the logseq | Yvert | date
  Before you restore and recover
  RMAN will review the latest situation.
  In this situation, there is no data of tablespace, RMAN is unnecessary restore this tablespace.
  Restore the controlfile doesn't help here, such as structural changes in the database result in an automatic backup of the controlfile.
  You restore the most recent backup, so in this automatic backup tablespace has also disappeared.

  I had a virus problem in my system.  I was asked to back up the data before they formatted my hard drive.  I used the backup and restore - 33 CDs Center.  After picking up my computer (they have reinstalled the operating system - Vista), I was unable to restore my data.  When I try to restore it, I get this message "there are no backups available on this computer.

  1. How did you create the backup?

  You will need to use the advanced restore feature and check if it works.

  1. open the Center to backup and restore by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking system and Maintenance, and then click backup and Restore Center.

  2. click on Advanced Restore Options. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

  3. click on files from a backup made on a different computerand then follow the steps.

  Also check if the backup CD contains files whose extension is like. BKF

  I had a problem with my phone and after trying several different things, I was told to back up my data and "wipe pocket."  I have everything backed up with BB Desktop Manager and after the handheld computer, the problem is resolved.  Unfortunately, now I can't get my data restored on my phone.  When I used the Desktop Manager, I clicked on restore and then came a box that says: "the data in the following databases...". Do you want to continue? ', followed by a list of my databases. Below that is a box for you to check that says «Clear the current memory of the OBU... and restore data...» ».  This sentence is overlying (you can see in the text) the Yes/No to click on the box.  So, even if I check the box in front of the text, I can't click on Yes or no. (nothing happens when I click on it). I tried to restart a few times Director of office, but I always get the same thing.  I finally uninstalled the Office Manager and re-installed, but I still get the same problem.  (I reinstalled it using a link that I got from one of these positions, not in the album I used for initial installation).  Any ideas?   I had the original problem was annoying, but it's even worse!  Thanks in advance...

  Never mind... figured it out... could not use the mouse to click on the 'yes', but when I used the TAB button and kept pressing it until it ended on the 'yes', I was able to hit the button enter and it worked.

  What you're trying to connect to your laptop or your laptop connect to Bluetooth?

  Did you check the specifications of the other device to ensure that it is not a special provision (both feet far etc.)?

  OK, that's my essue I reinstalled windows vista in my computer when I was doing this he told me that my old files which will be saved in a folder called "Old windows" when the installation is complete I have try to look fo this folder and I couldn't find it. • All my data from Windows Live Mail swiped. Its the most important storage files.

  The contacts folder has remained intact, but a strange entry in the calendar (battle of the Boyne) suggests a pirate or a virus.

  The current data from Hotmail has been restored by simply reconnected to Hotmail.

  Have restored a backup of e-mail archive using Paragon Backup and Recovery app but have no idea where its restored to or how to move if I can find it.  A system restore point has also been successfully but without restoring data from Live Mail.

  What should do?  Any advice would be appreciated.
