  A system restore does NOT affect your data or any prograns installed or configured before the restore point settings.  The only thing it affects are programs or updages you have installed between now and the restore point.  All other proprams will reamain very well so...  It is NOT a re-setup, which is what you think about.  I wouldn't recommend anything without first warning you of the consequences (as I did for this procedure in the previous post).  This is a very common and frequently used procedure in such cases.  I know not all the settings of the clock, other than those that you have already tried.  Please give the procedure a chance if you have a previous restore point when the problem started.
