HP3050a and AirPrint

I recently bought the printer HP3050a because it was compatible with Airprint.  Once I have everything configured via my PC, I tested the Airprint from my iPad and iPhone / ws all ok.

Hopwever, now I think it's impssible to print from an Apple device - he says just "printers AirPrint No Found.

I am able to print wireless via my laptop and PC, but just not to use my Apple devices.

The only method that I found that works are physically disconnect frm electric network printer and then plug it back in - this kind of him gives a kick to the top of the back.  But certainly this isn't the answer is?

Can anyone help please?

I hope you are well and sorry to hear that you're having this problem;

Although you could print on the 1st by devices to check if the router supports Hello (MDNS)

The moment you try to print you have devices with bluetooth activate please unable it is known to cause problems. Turn off Bluetooth is to test whether that creates a problem.

Is that upgrade to the updated IOS devices.

NEIGBOR bought this printer because it says "AirPrint" on the side of the box.  She asked me to set up.  She doesn't have a computer, but ONLY an Ipad 2.  She wants to use Airprint but it does not work.  On the Ipad, the printer is showing as a network, BUT it will appear as an option when you want to print when you change the WiFi connection to the printer (instead of the actual wi - fi network).  But at this time there the ipad does not connect because it is no longer connected to the wi - fi connection.

    Any thoghts?

Thanks - I actually thought about it.  I brought my laptop on her home and installed the drive.  He then got the printer to connect with the internet router and now everything works!  Thank you!

  • D110A and AirPrint in iOS 4.2.1

Just thought I'd post what I did to get it to work on my D110a Airprint. Quite easy actually just upgraded my firmware to the printer to the latest version. The printer, screen, tap the icon of the tool. This takes you to the Setup Menu. Click Ok in the preferences.  Arrow on the right down to the product updates and click OK to select. Your printer should connect and ask to install the new firmware. An Ok more was all it took for me. After you have downloaded and installed the update for my printer it printed another page of Info ePrint. In my case the printer email address and the code are exactly the same, so no action is required. Hope this helps someone.

Restart your router and your iOS device.

  • Cannot print to installed printers (HP3050A and HP7160) of the Windows 7 laptop

Since the installation of software for HP3050A printer on my laptop (Windows 7 32 bit OS) while "seeing", will not recognize printer when sending to print. Message always reads the printer must be added. Since the installation of HP3050' software were unable to print on any other network or direct printers (HP7160), who had worked. Suspect Windows 7 OS has been damaged. Have reinstalled the HP software several times to nothing does not. All well on 2 other computers with Windows XP

    Hi Julie,.

Uninstall the printer from Add/Remove Programs, and then install the full software functionality via the USB port. If you are unable to print, we consider that there is a problem within the operating system on the computer that helps the prints failed to the spooler. Let me know what you find?

  • Tips before buying HP all in one wireless to work with mac and AirPrint

I am looking to buy a HP Officejet Pro 8600 as my current HP is on the blink (well I think it's that I posted here with my problem with the Office Jet Pro 8500 and now it does not work with my mac at just my PC windows) but I need to know if I buy a HP Officejet Pro 8600 can I upgrade the network and not only print , but the scan wireless (probably more AirPrint) to a Mac Book Pro (end of 2011 on the last updated firmware), or is there a better printer for this task which is so cheap that I do not use the fax, but I'm going to use all other options; I print about 300 pages per month, as we Exam course and working documents to be printed on a regular basis in my house, that's why I'm leaning towards an Office Jet.

    Can what advice you give?

Finally, what is the difference between a HP Officejet Pro 8600 and HP Officejet Pro more than 8600?

Sorry I'm so "wet behind the ears" when it comes down to this

    See you soon.

    Hello

The 8600 pro is a great printer, however, the 8500 is great too...

By looking at your original post the question more likely related to your network and not with the printer itself.

Before purchasing a printer new please try following the steps below and let me know if this can help, if the problem caused by your router you will instead see a similar behavior with the 8600 too:

Unplug the cable ehthernet on the side of the router, and then connect it directly to your Mac (a direct connection cable between the printer and the Mac itself).

Wait 2 - 3 minutes to allow the connection to fill and then open print & scanning.

Click on the sign more and add the printer listed as Hello.

Now start the software update from the Apple menu and check if you can scan via print & scan, Capture Image or excerpt:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c03550518

If the analysis works by bypassing your network the problem caused by lack of compatibility Hello of the BT Home Hub, which can be called as Hello, mDNS, by different router or multicast IGMP manufactures...

I recommend you contact your router service provider to check if it supports this feature and if such can be activated by changing the settings of the router, a firmware update, etc.

You can find more info on this requirement in reviwing Solution 2: check your router for compatibility Hello in any information from Mac OS X in the document below:

  • Photosmart 6510: By default, Photosmart 6510 printer Photo paper tray when you use e printing and airprint

How can I get the default tray for main tray in electronic printing and air instead of photo tray? Everything is set to main tray by using the Printer Wizard. No problem when you print a document directly from the computer.

    Thanks in advance

The HP ePrint app is available on the Apple Store. When you open the app and are looking for a document to print, you should see a few options to select the paper settings and other options before you click Print to print the document.

  • AirPrint and WiFi printing stopped working on Photosmart 5520

I have a HP Photosmart 5520 that worked reliably until recent days. I can print is no longer my OS x, using print wifi or iPad, using Airprint.

    My configuration:

router - apple airport extreme ac

MacBook pro connected by ethernet to the router cable

iPad wifi connected to the same router

HP Photosmart 5520 connected wireless to the same router.

    1. the 5520 has an IP (10.0.1.13) and can address the internet

    2. the router reports the 5520 is connected.

    3. the Macbook can see the scanner of the printer (such as a scanner of Hello) but not the printer.

    4. safari on the macbook can connect to the web server integrated with 10.0.1.13

    5. the ipad can't see the printer via Airprint

I unplugged and reset the printer, put off the iPad and the MacBook, nothing helps.

How can I restore WiFi printing and Airprint?

Have you tried printing via a USB connection to the Mac? Because the printer will print the iPad with a direct wireless connection, there may be a hardware problem.

At the moment, contact HP Technical Support to see all the other possibilities for you. If you call in North America, the number is 1-800-474-6836 for all other regions, click here.

The only reference I can find for this router will show TalkTalk, so I guess it's done specially for them.  Anyuway, according to the forum of TalkTalk, there's an updated firmware available for your fix.  Usually, when firmware updates are "pushed" to the routers, all you need to do is power of the router and turn it back on so he can install it.  There may also be a way to have control of router for updates.  I don't know how it works in your case, so I would contact them for assistance.

  • AirPrint become slow

I have three printers P1102w. I have no problem with a wireless since Notepad printing and airprint becomes very slow after 10 pages of PDF files from ipad mini. Onece it happens, I need to restart the printer and the router (Airport express). I've updated the firmware 20130703. He has solved this problem with both printers, but only one printer always present the same problem.

    Hi acwlai,

    Thanks for providing this information.

The printer must be at least 4 to 6 feet from the router.

The printer, the router and the Ipad mini power cycle.

If you're still having problems, you can reset the network about the Ipad mini.

Go to settings, reset network settings, then reconnect to the network again.

    Try to print.

I recommend you to call the HP Technical Support for assistance if you continue to have this problem.

    Contact HP worldwide.

    Thank you.

  • OfficeJet 6500 and Mavericks

I upgraded to the Mavericks, when I got my new MacBook Pro last month. I just tried the printer connection and it's a no go. After HOURS of research... that website... I found these directions:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c03967522

Unfortunately, I followed and uninstalled the HP software before installing the new software. Before I did, I was just messing around in the hope of finding a solution and I tried to re-adding the printer (you can see my computer) and he had the box 'USE', which had the name of the printer (Officejet 6500 blah blah) and AirPrint option two. Thinking that I didn't know as much as the official people who manufactured the product, I decided to search online before clicking on the name of the printer in the area USE and installation of the printer.

Now that I uninstalled the software by fashion, only AirPrint is available. I can't find Officejet 6500 in the area USE even if I click on some software. I tried AirPrint anyway and found that the computer says the printer is available for use but nothing to actually print and certainly nothing scans as it says there is no software for this product. I spent 2 hours on this site, try to find a solution at this point and I'm completely exasperated. Guess I'll have to analyze everything to work tomorrow.

Found the answer in the last 2 minutes...

Turn the printer power off and power on.

  • HP 2549: HP 2549 and Mac OS x: double-sided printing does not work

    Hello!

I just installed this printer on my Macbook Air and I cannot print double-sided. I tried by USB / wireless (in the case where there is a difference between the two) but no luck.

I followed the advice in this post: http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printer-All-in-One-Install-Setup/two-sided-printing-no-longer-availble-...

but I did not tab "driver". I only have "Général", "Levels of power" and "utility." I tried to delete the printer and then add it with HP 2359 and AirPrint not but that does not change.

When I print a pdf document, double-sided printed is greyed out and I cannot change.

What should I do? I already reinstalled the drivers on the HP Web site, I selected all the things that I can install it, but that has not changed anything.

    Thank you.

    Hi @blablaalf,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I see that two-sided printing does not work with your printer HP 2549 on Mac OS X 10.10. I'm happy to help with this problem!

I assume that your printer is a HP Deskjet 2549, otherwise please reply with the exact type of printer you have. To find product/model number of your printer follow the instructions in this link. Find your model number of the HP product.

Otherwise, if the type of printer you have. According to this guide, print on both sides of the paper (duplex printing). He said: this printer is not an automatic duplex unit integrated, you can always print on both sides of the page to manually reload paper in the paper after printing tray first to print on both sides of the paper.

This is the reason why this option is grayed out.

If you print on letterhead, pre-printed paper or paper with watermarks and pre-drilled holes, the printer prints first the front of the document. Load the paper with the top edge first and the side to be printed facing downwards.
  • Intermittent connectivity of AirPrint

Now that we have ePrint works perfectly with our networks of , maybe someone can help with this problem of AirPrint:

I'm having intermittent connectivity to my 8500 has via AirPrint from my iPhone 4 and iPad.  All my computers laptops (Mac and PC) fine print over wifi, but the printer appears on the iOS devices about 30% of the time and without rhyme or reason with regard to when or why.

I tried to reset all devices as well as the router (Linksys WRT110).  All devices have also applied the latest firmware or the OS updates.

According to this thread on Apple forums, this seems to be a fairly widespread problem: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2670097

    Any ideas?

I just wanted to give the community suite my questions Airprint.

Finally, I bit the bullet and replaced my Linksys WRT110 with an Apple Airport Extreme router. I've been running my setup for three weeks now and airprint worked perfectly.  Now, I'm pretty sure it was the router causing problems all the time.

My iOS devices can now find and print my 8500 has all the time.
