hp8620: tools of the printer

I installed the printer using my pc Tower, next to the router and the printer is connected via an ethernet cable, I also have a laptop, I installed the printer drivers on it, how can I install printer tools from the CD on my laptop computer, without installation and connection of the printer again? and that would be a bad thing?

Who are interested in the installation?  If the 8620 Officejet Pro is on the network, you would be able to enter the printer's IP address in the browser of your laptop.  This will open built-in Web Server (EWS printer).  From there, there is a Tools tab, which gives a number of options, including the information of product, usage reports, backup and restore settings, utilities and more.

    I went to my HP8620 yesterday to find a printer error duisplayed on the screen.  He said "Please stop printer, then press.  All the lights were flashing.  I turned the printer, then on and the printer has been its start-up phase.  Almost immediately, the screen went black, then blue, and finally the printer error appeared again on a white background.

    1. While the printer turned on, unplug the power cord from the back of the printer.
    2. Unplug the USB cable from the back of the printer, as appropriate.
    3. Turn off the wireless router.
    4. Wait 30 seconds.
    5. Connect the power cord to the printer.
    6. Check if an error appears.
    7. When the printer is ready, make a copy. Check to see if the error is.
    8. Turn on the wireless router.

  • HP8620: Turns the printer off line

    Hello

    I have a HP8620 printer that leads me in the corners.

    Continues to go the printer offline, he worked for weeks without a problem, then it turns off the line almost every day.

    I stopped the printer spooler and reworded some times it works, I have blowen away the driver for the printer that so many times I'm on it.

    The printer was working wireless and I had the problem so it is now connected via a Lan cable and same problem.

    Can someone please help the printer was not cheap when I brought. He becomes very close to go in the trash and buy a different brand printer.

  • The printer and settings tabs in the HP Solution Center tool box, do all the windows.

    Tabs tool box, in the HP Solution Center, and the printer settings do not appear in these windows.

    I check to see if there is another way to access the settings of the printer before I ininstall and reinstall the printer and the HP software.

    I'm gathering that you have problems with your HP Solution Center and seek advice before uninstall/reinstall.

    My advice would be... to do a uninstall and reinstall. This you will get the updated version and save you to address the problem that you are experiencing. If you need help to uninstall it and reinstall, let me know.

    XP is not a cutting tool. You will need to use the print screen button with MS Paint which is a real PITA bread. I suggest you download one of these freeware tools and make life more simple.

  • my tool troubleshooting printer says turn on the printer - however, the printer is on. Don't know what to do to fix this

    My printer does not print. When you use the troubleshooting utility it says that the printer is not swithced on.

    However, it IS turned on.

    Found the answer! I had to upgrade the built-in server to use compatibility mode in IE9. Worked fine in Chrome, so it was not the firewall or network configuration.

    This only happens on Facebook while I'm in Firefox, think of a word document where I put the margin by about six inches on each side. The print shows only on about half the page Central. It has nothing to do with the size of the text, it will appear as usual, just more lines to say the same thing. If that sounds confusing, it's OK, because it's confusing to me, questions let me know.
