• problems with HP Photosmart D5069

  My aunt gave me a D5069 printer with the power cord and the USB cable that connects the printer to the computer a few days ago. My computer is running on Windows 7 and when I connect the printer to the computer, that happens with anything, the computer doesn't save even that something is plugged.   I see that you have a problem with the installation of the printer to your Windows 7 computer. The reason why you are having problems is that no real impression software is not specifically for Windows 7.

  I have however a link to theprinter install wizard for Windows you can try that will install a print driver base so you can print from the computer.

  I had problems to install my HP printer on my HP Pavilion dv6 PC laptop d110. He worked previously but stop and I was forced to try to reinstall the drivers, but it still fails to connect in the end I tried different drivers and even online and on the CD, but still not. It seems to be a problem of troubleshooting when I go to the devices, but the problem is with my computer itself. I's went further in the resolution of problems and found 3 triangle'd photosmart d110 series in the Hardware tab of the properties of my computer. I am running windows 7 64 bit and have service pack 1 installed. I am quite perplexed because my friend has no problem to set up his laptop. Any help would be appreciated.

• Problems with HP Photosmart Premium C310 disconnect

  All-in-one printer, HP Photosmart Premium C310 will sometimes go offline, by himself.  I can't answer by touching the screen or turn the printer on or off.  The only way I can get the printer to the top is by unplugging and plugging in.

  I understand 'black' when not in use, but I don't understand power 'revive' the printer again by touching the screen.  It becomes annoying when I try to print something and get the error "printer offline".  Please tell me if there is a solution to this problem.

  It seems as if the only thing I can do is to unplug the printer from the back and plug it in again.  Thanks for your help.

• Problems with HP Photosmart C4380 wireless via a router from Cisco RV120W

  We recently purchased a Cisco RV120W wireless router and now we can´t connect our wireless Photosmart C4380 printer.

  During the installation process, we get the message: "the can´t computer communicate with the printer on 192.168.0.216. It can be caused by firewallproblems. Check that the 427 UDP port are not blocked in and out of traffic"(translated from Danish).

  If I remove the USB cable and try again, the installation continues and Announces: 'printer found – connected to the LAN' - but in the end: "Printer installation is not complete" - aurgh!

  The report-network printer looks OK all the way.

  Can someone help us we are frustrated.

  Sorry, but I'm not familiar with this device.  However, I would search in the areas of networks, VPN and security.

  You want to be sure of not having active VPN and also look for implementing isolation.

  My printer prints not my new laptop Dell Studio (Vista 32-bit).  Not only have I tried to do everything from the manual and is support, there is still no solution.  I was on the phone at least 6 hours with 2 representatives and a representative of level two.  Now I'm scheduled for a telephone conference with the person of second level and technical support.  I'm about to take my hammer and break the printer.  I have always used HP, and if this is not resolved, I never use HP. • Problems with HP Photosmart C309g wireless and wired

  I fought with my C309g since I bought it a few months before.  It works on and outside, but can not hold a consistent network connection.  I have wired it usually but have tried both wireless.  It is plugged directly into my Netgear router.

  Before it works for a short period of time and the other Offline Online & on its own.  Sometimes it recognizes the other computers on the network to print & analyses.  I have 3 PCs on the network - two cables & a wireless.  It will recognize the three rarely, two of them sometimes, one of them sometimes (usually the laptop wireless) and none of these most of the time.

  There each time than in quite awhile for the first month and now it does not appear at all on the network - wired or wireless.  I can't print and more.  The documents simply to sit in Quebec for a while and then produce an error.

  Any help appreciated.  This printer is a wholemeal bread.

  Hi Gringeiro,

  You use the wireless WEP or WPA security on your router?  I would recommend WPA2 with AES, well, if you want to connect wireless.  It will also, if you set a static IP address on the printer.  You can do this by typing the IP address of the printer in the address bar of your browser.  Select the network tab, and then look for IPV4 under the section of wired or wireless, depending on how you have connected it.  There should be an option to "suggest manual IP".  If this isn't the case, type IPCONFIG from the command prompt (start/run cmd) to get your addresses in the subnet and the gateway.

  Anyone know why the ink can not come through when I install a new ink cartridge?  I changed the that many times before, but it does not print.  I should shake the cartridge, moisten the place where the ink comes out, clean the print head and if so, how?  Any other suggestions?  Thank you

  Click here for the steps to install a cartridge.

  If you did above correctly and the problem persists, perform the below mentioned steps...

  On the printer, press the Setup > TOOLS > CLEAN printhead

  Note: You may need to perform the steps mentioned above for 2 - 3 times.

  Now try to print, it should work.

  It seems that no matter how I place the paper in the tray, print it ends up screwing up in one of these ways:

  -Printing gets spread over several pages that cross at the same time

  -Paper gets crumpled and folded over the edges, as it passes through the printer

  -The Page is printed very twisted

  -Printing at the bottom of page gets cut

  -Printer detects no paper and the light flashes red

  Very rarely, I will get lucky and the page will display very well. These problems have been ongoing for some time, but now he's got to the point where I really would like that fixed it.

  What is the name and the product number of your printer? How can I find my model number or product number?

  Turn on the printer and make sure that the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (do not use a hub or a surge protector) This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation. The USB cable should not be more then 6 feet. Make sure that the USB cable is connected directly to the computer. (not a station or a hub) Try a different USB port on the computer. Check that the USB cable is connected to the appropriate port on the back of the printer.

  Check if the Mac sees the printer is connected.

  Go to the Apple, select about this Mac, system report, select USB.
  Do you see the printer listed?

  Fix permissions of the drive on the Mac:
  Close all applications.
  In the Apple menu, click OK, click Applications, and then click utilities.
  Double-click disk utility.
  Highlight your hard drive / partition on the left.
  Click on check and then repair disk permissions.

  Restart the computer...

  Reset the printing system:

  Note: This will remove all printers in the print and Fax/Scan, any printer deleted can be re-added later by clicking the sign plus (+) symbol.

  Click on the Apple icon and then click on System Preferences.
  Click on Printers & Scanners.
  Make a right click (or Ctrl + click) in the left white side panel, and then click Reset printing system.
  Click OK to confirm the reset.
  Type the name and the correct password.
  Click OK to reset the printing system.
  Then click on the sign to add the driver, highlight the printer +. (you may need to click the drop down menu to select the name of the printer) Then click the Add button.

  Try to print again.

  If you're still having problems, please try another USB cable.

• Problems with Photosmart HP7510

  I have a HP Photosmart 7510 printer that I use with my new HP with Windows 8.1 personal computer.  Recently, I noticed that my pages are coming with distorted margins.  It makes no difference if I'm printing a page from a computer file or copy a document on the printer (charger auto and flat on the bed of the printer).  In both cases, the margins are moved 1/2 inch more to the right so that the left and right margins are no longer the same.  I thought maybe it was the paper tray, but there's only one way to insert 8 1/2 x 11 paper.   I'm tired of having to adjust the margins on my files on the computer so that the printed copies seem to be centered on the page.  I hope someone can give me an idea of how to fix this.

• HP says that my problem with 6520 is because of the Wi - Fi connection

  I bought my HP e-6520 in March and it worked perfectly for the first 4 to 6 weeks. Then he started to "wake up" mode 'sleep' on its own, and it happens at least once per hour. I have been in email communication with Support HP try several things, none worked. It got to the point that support HP told me that I should now call and talk to someone. So I called and was told to check several things, which most had done SEVERAL times via email to support. They had me do some sort of reset and said they would call the next day to see if that helped, who wasn't half. I got this call, as it was planned, and talked with this support person that I transferred to a supervisor of material. This supervisot then told me that I have is because the printer is connected wireless to my computer and then she hung up on me. Personally, I think that HP gives me the run around in the hope that they can delay until the printer is out of warranty and I have no luck.

  I understand you've been starting with Ciara and I see her looking into that for you. However, I have dealt with this same situation, the other day and I recommend trying a few things to fix this.
