Now, I can only see the files in windows Explorer.  Whenever I try to copy the Clip, I get an error message:

The unit has stopped responding or has been disconnected.  This device supports audio files, it does not support. MP3 files...

The second message is ridiculous since the Clip is loaded with MP3s.  Generic message...

I tried to swith USB modes auto detect MTP and MSC, no luck.  I've removed the device and had windows to reinstall the drivers.  I downloaded the update from sansa and it says that it updated the firmware to V01.02.18A.

I have run out of ideas to try and unfortunately, patience.  Any suggestions?

Crazy... tried another USB port and no problems (USB mode was DPW).

Whatever it is, I was able to load more songs, so I'm good.  Do not forget to use the slot #2

  • Help! My Sansa Clip + is no longer recognized by my PC when connected by USB port!

Reading, the latter time, ' said, 'written' only when connected. Normally, he alternates between the 'Reading' and 'Writing' when it is connected to the PC and, therefore, it USED TO BE recognized by the PC in these conditions. The device is not recognized in Windows Explorer as a device or disk as usual. I use Windows 7. The device is not recognized by Windows Media Player synchronization purposes: I can't synchronize playlists of music more.

You try to reset by pressing the power button / stop 20 seconds does not help.

Using different USB ports does NOT help.

The cable using different USB does not help.

    Another computer has NOT appeared.

  • Need HELP! My Sansa Clip + is no longer recognized by my PC!

In fact, when I connect my Sansa Clip + to my PC via USB, it will recognize in 'My Computer' for a fraction of a second & then it will disappear! The disc for my Sansa will be apear for 2-5 seconds & then bam, gone.

Sometimes the Sansa Clip + will reappear again at my drive after leaving connected, but even once, it will appear only for a fraction of a second & disapear as he was immediately disconnected.

After that my Sansa Clip + is going to just play the music as it was not yet connected to my PC with the USB cable. I don't think it's the same in charge when connected.

I have an another spare Sansa Clip + & when I connect it to my PC with the USB cable even & the same USB port, it is perfectly recognised! No problem with that!

My Sansa Clip dies or the USB connector on the end let go & not able to login properly?
What I have to buy a new, or is it repairable?

Have you tried to exchange the cables? Sounds like the cable you use (which connects intermittently or fresh) may have a loose wire or PIN.

  • Sansa Clip - computer does not recognize the music file

I have a Sansa Clip 8 GB. It works OK. It connects to my PC (Windows 7) and fees. But when I open the music from the PC folder there is nothing in it. There is the music of the clip and he is playing. But nothing in the folder on my PC. The clip has the firmware version: v02.01.35A. His car is up to date. Any ideas?

Try changing the drive USB MSC mode by going to settings > system settings > USB. If you still don't see the files, try MTP mode. Files transferred in a mode are invisible to your PC when it is connected to the other mode (files transferred in both modes are still visible by the player himself, that's why they play even if the PC cannot find them). The third mode, "Automatic Detection", should be avoided because it can change between the MTP and MSC between sessions without warning, according to the whims of Windows.

  • XPS 8700 - BD - ROM (HL-DT-ST DVD-RW/BDROM CH20N) not recognized Windows 10

    Hello

The issue I'm having is that my BD - ROM player suddenly is no longer recognized by Windows 10 (update 1511 installed).

I looked at length on the Dell forums and the web for this problem. The difficulty of recording often mentioned (e.g. http://www.tenforums.com/drivers-hardware/16301-windows-10-my-dvd-cd-drive-not-recognised-all-post366938.html#post366938) does not at all.

I ran diagnostics Dell SupportAssist, and it recognizes my drive model and serial number, but doesn't read any media. In Windows itself, I don't then click the drive because it displays "Access denied" and the Eject option also raises an error.

My system is relatively new (2 years), but just outside the extended warranty expired 2 months ago. Can someone please help to solve this?

    Thank you

    Hello

November cumulative update for Windows 10 (the update 1511) was only recently released.  Specific hardware manufacturers normally updated firmware for their components, release them and we can post updates and place them on our support site to download (once we have tested and confirmed the update).

If the manufacturer has not produced this update, but it may be something that they are working on or there may be other delays. If all goes well he will be released soon, or maybe Microsoft will make an update if they find something in their update of 1511, which must be rectified.

Unfortunately, I have no way of telling when these corrections will happen so you can stay out of 10 Windows without having to install the package update from November until a fix is published.

  • Does ITunes ipod not recognized windows classic 10

ITunes does not recognize my IPOD Classic because I installed Windows 10 and I can not synchronize. ITunes is the latest version and the latest drivers system exist.

Look at the screen of the iPod when you connect the iPod.  What did he say or do, if anything?  He acknowledges to be connected?  The battery charge indicator display?

Your profile said MacBook Pro, but if you connect the iPod to a Windows PC, I guess that it is formatted for Windows (not Mac).

check if your memory card reader supports the map reading high capacity.

Also, check if you have not inserted the wrong side.

a memory card reader not expensive 4 - in1 can be bought for cheaper than the equivalent US dollar in the philippines or hong kong.

  • Sansa clip zip does not

I just got this camera and I can't turn it on.

the display shows "file not found" and shows "USB Plug cable.

or is this a display of rockbox and a file not found message.

I tried to hold the switch of power for 20 seconds, but it does not work.

    Help, please

With the power off, hold down the left button and then plug in USB. Do not release the button until it starts. Once you have a working USB, updated the firmware from sandisk. That will restore the firmware to normal.

  • I'm having a problem strange sync my 4 GB Sansa Clip + with Winamp

    Sansa Clip + 4 GB

    MTP mode

    MicroSDHC 32GB

Windows 7 64 - bit Winamp (no additional plugins)

I recently bought a new 4 GB Sansa Clip + with a 32 GB MicroSD card. Using Winamp, I synced my library on the SD card. Everything went as not expected, no problems to report, I could play all the songs perfectly.

But now, whenever I try to sync the SD card in the player, Winamp does not appear to recognize the files he had previously synced. A window tells me that there are X number of songs on the Sansa Clip + who are not in the library and encourage me to remove them, let them, or cancel. (photo of the box below)

Basically, Winamp tells me again and again to remove and re - sync a load of songs that are already on the player, which is extremely long and tedious, when all I want is to synchronize an album or two. This happens even if I plug the appliance, let it cool off, and then plug it back to synchronize again.

If anyone has had this same problem and would be willing to share the solution, me a huge favor. Thank you.

Nevermind, I figured it. It turns out that the solution was to set the USB MSC instead of MTP mode. Who would have thought?

    Thanks for any help.

  • SANDISK Sansa Clip Zip not recognized by WIN 8

My SANDISK Sansa Clip Zip MP3 player is not recognized by my WIN 8 machine when I connect it via USB.  It works fine on my other machine WIN 8.  Technical support SANDISK told me that the MTP drivers are missing or corrupted.  How do I find, download and install these drivers from the Microsoft site?  Is it also possible to copy these out of the installation of WIN 8 disk I have?

OK, so I found that this worked for me on win. 8

1st: hit 'Windows key' 'X', then click on Device Manager.

2nd: once it go to Universal Serial Bus Controllers, find "USB Mass Storage Device".

3rd: hit search and edit the material (something like that)

4th: there are 2 categories, the first to find the driver automatically, and the second looking for your pc.

5th: click on the first then wait it should work and then it will say that it is recognized and you can sync your Media Player!

I hope this has helped! :)
