Hqbtyvpe.exe process Adobe KILLS my computer! What is it?

Hello

I use your high-end, fast desktop with Win7 and Adobe, Hqbtyvpe.exe replica process itself several times as a process as can be seen in the Windows Task Manager, taking huge amounts of RAM and seems to do nothing more than to kill my computer. It is located in:

User name > AppData > LocalLow > Adobe > wxlsrilpvz > ghvypem > Hqbtyvpe.exe

Here's a screenshot of the location:

2015-01-05 Issue2.JPG

I have not yet installed Google Chrome, in the description field of Task Manager, you can see below that it is called "Google Chrome".

2015-01-05 Issue1.JPG

The number of instances varies constantly wildly, 10 or 12 or 20 to 25 without apparent reason. I asked this on Adobe Chat and received no help at all... Can someone tell me what on Earth is and how to stop it or to get rid of him, please?

Thank you

Alan R

OK, after many tests and to try a selective startup using msconfig, I tracked it. It seems that this program is malware who hid himself inside this hidden Adobe folder and I came across this by accident. I'll describe what happened in case it can help someone. I was helping friends tonight with their computer that runs very slowly. I ran the Task Manager and I saw a cryptic names exe file are exactly the same on their computer, i.e. multiple copies existing taking lots of ram, produce between 15 to 25 instances of itself. They run MS Security Essentials and I had already run a virus scan which turned up no problem. But, on their computer, the file exe, also described as "Google Chrome" was in a folder of Microsoft, and not an Adobe folder. This made me think that it wasn't a problem to Adobe but potential malware.

I downloaded and installed Malwarebytes, installed and ran the free version and it turns out a number of issues, including this enigmatic name exe and it has blocked a number of elements suspected of malware.

I then came home to my computer and let it boot, always using msconfig to start selective loading system for services only. I checked the Task Manager and the exe file was not present. I downloaded and installed Malwarebytes, (I also use MS Security Essentials) and installed then scanned my computer. "She found a number of items suspected malware and quarantine, many starting with"SweetPacks"and SweetIM" malware even on my friends computer. I said OK for the cleaning of the computer and a restart is required. After restarting, always with the services of the system only, I let Malwarebytes remove all quarantined items. I then did another scan and everything was clear. I then put msconfig to restart a normal life and rebooted.

After the reboot, everything worked back as it should with no such exe from an Adobe folder and no problem in my task manager. So the problem must certainly have been malware that is hidden in a hidden Adobe folder and, fortunately, Malwarebytes found...

I hope this can help someone.

Original title: I can't find the fix_svchost.bat file update.

I'm in you process of having my computer running faster. The svchost.exe process takes 100% of cpu memory and computer dthe freezes. A friend of mine told me a method to solve the problem, but I can't find the fix_svchost.bat update. I went to microsoft update center and don't find any results at all, and I don't know another place to look for. I think that the update does not even exist.

I could send you a fix_svchost.bat file, but I don't think it's the starting point.

What you need to do is run a few respectable scans for malware first, and then see if any of you are your svchost.exe process is still badly behave.

Behind each of the svchost.exe process that see you in the Manager of tasks can be one or more process of XP you have to be running, but malware is KNOWN to imitate or hide behind a svchost.exe process, so you won't be able to see in Manager tasks.  You have to outsmart it.

First yo should make a reasonable effort to eliminate malware, and then start troubleshooting - not the other way around.

Provide information on your system, the better you can:

What is your system brand and model?

What is your Version of XP and the Service Pack?

Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Symantec, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, MSE, Panda, Trend Micro, CA, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, Comodo, etc..

No matter what you use for malware protection, follow these steps:

Download, install, update and do a full scan with these free malware detection programs at:
    Malwarebytes (MMFA): http://malwarebytes.org/
    SUPERAntiSpyware: (SAS): http://www.superantispyware.com/

These comprehensive analyses can take some time, but you really need to run.  SAS will probably be just a bunch of Internet tracking cookies, but you can remove them.  Once you have done at least a full analysis, you can do quick scans in the future to save time and save the analyses complete for when you have more time or are really suspicious of an infection of the system.

They can be uninstalled later if you wish.

In 1985, there were 11 known computer viruses.  Today, there are over 70,000 and new threats are detected every day.  Always update your virus definitions before running a scan.

    Hi Chloris,

All of the tabs in the Manager tasks is very important programs required for your computer to run, that's why we recommend you not to process the end of it. Please note that finishing process is a crucial process that could disable some important programs which is necessary for your computer to function normally. If you want to make your computer run faster, you can customize the programs you want to run including required from Microsoft programs. You can do this by performing a clean boot, to do so, kindly check How to perform a boot in Windows 7. However, you can complete the process in the Task Manager Applications tab, programs within this tab are the programs that you are currently using, is that programs that is safe complete the process.

Regarding your question on Center.exeis a process installed on your computer by the manufacturer. It allows devices to run, such as USB Server and Wireless LAN network. It is recommended that do not end its process, for which reason it can cause such devices do not work correctly.

    Hi MAMARDA,

Welcome to the Microsoft Vista answers Forum!

I would like to ask you a few questions in order to get a better understanding of this issue so that we can better help you.

    (a) what version of Windows 7 use you?

    (b) what is the exact error message you are getting?

Method 1: You can also try to perform a file system (scan SFC) verification tool. This tool will fix the system files are corrupted.

    Scan SFC enforcement procedure:

    2. on the Start Menu, click all programs followed by accessories

    3. in the menu accessories, right-click on command line option

    4. in the drop-down menu that appears, click the "Run as Administrator" option

    5. If you have the User Account Control (UAC) enabled, you will be asked permission before the opening of the command line. You simply press the button continue if you are the administrator or insert password etc.

    6. in the command prompt window, type: sfc/scannow then press enter

    7. a message is displayed to indicate that "the analysis of the system will start.

    8. be patient because the analysis may take some time

    9. If all the files need replace SFC will replace them. You may be asked to insert your Vista DVD for this process to continue

    10. If all goes although you should, after the analysis, see the following message "Windows resource protection not found any breach of integrity.

    11. once the scan is finished, close the command prompt window, restart the computer and check.

Method 2: If this is a recent problem that has developed you can try to perform a system restore and check if it works very well.

To restore the operating system to an earlier point in time, follow these steps:

    1. Click Start, type system restore in the search box, and then click System Restore in the list programs.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue.

    2. in the System Restore dialog box, click on choose a different restore point and then click Next

    3. in the list of restore points, click a restore point created before you started having the problem, and then click Next

    4. click on finish

Note: When you perform the system restore to restore the computer to a previous state, programs and updates that you have installed are removed.

For more information, please follow the below given link:

How to repair the operating system and how to restore the configuration of the operating system to an earlier point in time in Windows Vista

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/936212/

Method 3: you can try to start safe mode and restore the system, if you are unable to do it in normal mode.

For a safe boot, you can follow the below given steps:

    1. remove all floppy disks, CDs and DVDs from your computer and restart your computer.

Click the Start button, click the arrow next to the button lock and then click on restart.

    2. do one of the following:

    a. If your computer has a single operating system installed, press and hold the F8 key as your computer restarts. You need to press F8 before the Windows logo appears. If the Windows logo appears, you need to try again by waiting until the Windows logon prompt appears, and then stop and restart your computer.

    b. If your computer has multiple operating systems, use the arrow keys to select the operating system you want to start in safe mode, and then press F8.

When you are in safe mode, follow the steps mentioned above to complete the restore of the system.

    Hi tom hoekstra,.

You would be able to run Photoshop CS5 on a 64-bit computer.

Only two CS5 applications are exclusively 64-bit, Premiere Pro and After Effects. The rest, including Photoshop, will take place in any environments 32 - bit or 64 - bit, including Windows XP. But CS5 users on 64-bit native should realize significantly greater gains in performance, in some cases as much as ten times the previous speed.

I'm having a problem with a sound used for Norton ccSvcHst.exe process. I have all the dates of the last mounted and I roughly 1 000 000 errors page an hour and the hard drive of my computer is crazy with me doing nothing. Norton has been included in the software package supplied with the computer. so I hope that support you. What can I do to calm my computer runs to stop this service... I have also about 500 000 for the service dwm.exe. What could cause this?

    Hi dude, on average

    A. from when what happens?

    B. recent changes made on your computer?

    C. you get any error message?

First of all, I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall Norton using the Norton Utilities disk and check if the problem persists.

Second, you may have to perform an auditor of the system files on your computer in order to replace the files corrupted on your computer.

Open an elevated command prompt. To do this, click Start, click programs, accessories principally made, right-click Guest, and then click Run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on allow.

Type the following command and press ENTER: sfc/scannow

Yes Spoolsv.exe is a service that uses a lot of cache even when its not required.
Here is a solution for this :->
    1. Go to Start, settings , then click Control Panel
    2. In the Control Panel window, double-click first Administrative Tools , then Services.
    3. In the right pane of the Services window, find and with the button straight on print spooler and then select stop.
    4. You have stopped this process, leave the window open. Now open my computer and navigate to the following folder.

  • Last automatic update windows tried to kill my computer...

The only thing installed yesterday was an update automatic windows vista. I turned off my laptop, and when I got home I tried to start it up. Windows wouldn't start in normal mode, so I booted in safe mode, scanned with my antivirus, antimalware... etc... and found nothing. So, I used the system recovery and put the laptop on the eve of thinking maybe something strange was snuck in. It worked fine, so I thought it was good. I created a new poin of recovery, re-installed upgrading windows and close.
He walks this morning to find that he had the same problem. I started back in safe mode, reused the system recovery and used the recovery point that I had put just before I downloaded the updates of windows and now everything works fine. I have disabled the automatic updates and I have not had problems since.
Does anyone know why the Windows Update tries to kill my computer? The Auto-mises to day running all the time and I've never had this problem before.

Any help or advice is appreciated. Thank you.

    Merydeth,
If you are still having this problem and have not updated your system then here are a few things to try.  First of all, make sure that your system is free from any infection malware\virus.  If you do not have an up-to-date antivirus program and then take a look at this article: get rid of the malware , it has lots of good info on the programs to try.  Then, you go through Windows Update and install updates one at a time to determine that perhaps there was a problem.  Post back with the update and we can discuss more later.

  • Iexplore.exe process still running in the Task Manager

I was see multiple iexplore.exe processes in the Task Manager when I'm not in IE, so to trouble shoot it I uninstalled IE, run several different scans/squared (which found nothing) and iexplore.exe is still appear in the Task Manager. I guess that it is some sort of virus since I uninstalled IE and it is always showing to run. No idea how to do the trick of it? I am running XP.

IF IE 8 was present in the control panel > add or remove programs, then when you have uninstalled it from there, you have restored the previous version of Internet Explorer, in other words, IE 7.

The best way to confirm this is to start IE and then click Help > topic.

There is malware that disguises itself as iexplore.exe.  If you see iexplore.exe or Iexplore.exe in msconfig or in the Task Manager after Windows startup, but you did manually start Internet Explorer, you probably don't have a problem.
What antivirus applications you scan with?

If you haven't already done so, I suggest to do the following:

Run a scan virus online with the eSet online scanner (may require a download if you are using a version of Internet Explorer)

Download, install, update and run MalwareBytes AntiMalware (free)

Download, install, update and run SUPERAntiSpyware

You can uninstall all the latter after their use, if you wish.
