Hub VPN3030 as server EzVPN configuration

Hello

I want to configure the hub of VPN3030 as a server of EzVPN to C3845 router that will work as an EzVPN remotely. That's a good tech note that shows how to do this in the VPN3030? In addition, any ideas to set up the remote router for EzVPN is greatly appreciated as well. Thanks in advance.

Keith

The following configuration example is between Cisco VPN 3000 and Cisco 1721 router. Configuration of the router should be more or less similar.

http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/Tech/tk583/TK372/technologies_configuration_example09186a00800945cf.shtml

I hope this helps.

    Troubleshooting Internet connectivity

    1 answer to the first and second troubleshooting Questions:

    First Question of troubleshooting: If the problem is new, what has changed between the time things worked and the time they do not have?

    The second issue of Windows troubleshooting: what is the status of virus/malware of the machine? If you think it's clean, what programs (and versions) allows you to determine this?

    Make sure that the computer is clean - http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Removing_Malware

    Many variants of malware will allow a proxy server if you are unable to Internet. Go to control panel > Internet Options > connectivity tab > LAN button. If all is selected in the section Server Proxy, uncheck the box, apply/OK outside.

    2. If nothing has changed and that the computer is clean, what antivirus/security programs are you running? Have AVG 8 or Zone Alarm? These two programs have had updates that caused Internet connectivity problems. I don't recommend either of these programs, but if you want to keep check them on the mftrs.' support websites.

    3. If #2 is not applicable:

    a. unplug the router.
    b. disconnect the modem. (If you have a DOCSIS 3 modem with battery backup, press the Reset button to reset the modem so the lights go out).
    c. wait 60 seconds.
    d. plug the modem (or wait until the reboot is completed) and expect that all the lights are on.
    e. plug the router and wait until all lights are on.

    You now have an Internet connection? Otherwise:

    4. connect your computer directly to the cable/DSL modem. You now have an Internet connection? If so, there is a problem with the router. They do not last forever. Replace it.

    If there is no Internet when your computer is connected directly to the cable/DSL modem, call your ISP because something is wrong with the cable/DSL modem or your Internet service.

  • SME Server - Ruter configuration?

    Hello. I'm trying to configure my WRT54GL on LAN 1 with my home server. As I can not apparently use TELNET, how should I configure the ruter? The other: 2 and 3 LAN, LAN LAN 4 should not be influenced by my implementation of a server - only LAN 1. I have an IP address from my ISP. The server must run as my private hoster and mailhost.

  • LWAPP AP1131 not connect to the server syslog configuration

    Hello

    I have configured my LWAPP Ap1131 to use a syslog server. I did it with an option dhcp and configuration on the controller. According to the boot message the ap Gets the two servers. But unfortunately, none of the servers are used. The AP then send messages to 255.255.255.255. I have grabed the attached file directly from the AP (see logging). The syslog server is accessible by the ap...

    Interesting is the 7th line from the bottom, where did the ap get the broadcast address for syslog?

    any ideas, what about Martin

    I tried on one of my ap lab to see if the wlc would see the trap. If you look at the wlc management | SNMP | trap control, there is two specified traps under Cisco AP traps. You can always contact your local Cisco Wireless SE and put them in your recommendation of future improvement.

  • Server security configurations

    Hi all

    I am trying to set up an environment view of the Horizon for external connectivity. I need your help in making sure I do correct.

    Do I need two network cards in the server security? One in the DMZ network (192.168.1.x) and the other in Network (192.168.2.x) internal?

    Public IP address - provided by the ISP

    Public domain FULL name - myview.company.com

    Security Server - Hostname:viewss 192.168.1.100

    Connection to the server - FQDN 192.168.2.100 internal CS: viewcs.company.local

    While Installing Security Server I'm filling the fields as below;

    Matched login server: viewcs.company.local

    Server VMware security configurations:

    External Url: Https://myView.company.com:443

    PCoIP External url: public IP address

    In display the view connection Server Configurations;

    External Url: Https://myView.company.com:443

    PCoIP External url: public IP address

    Is the above correct?

    To open ports: 443 and 4172? Y at - it of the other ports to open like 80?

    Please guide me in this process and thank you very much for your help.

    T

    This configuration is correct.

    Internal users can use Https://viewcs.company.local:443 and Https://myview.company.com:443external users.

    You can also use the same FQDN for both internal and external connections, relying on the DNS configuration.  External DNS resolves the FULL domain name to the public IP address and internal DNS solves the same FQDN of the internal IP address.

  • How to find the type of Web server is configured for use with ColdFusion

    Hello

    Where can I check to see what kind of server that ColdFusion is configured to run currently? I have an existing CF installation 9.0.1, which I'll be removing and installing CF 9.0.2. During the instalation of the 9.0.2 version I would need to specify the server to use - Server ColdFusion / Apache / IIS etc. My question is, where I see in CF 9.0.1 existing to understand the server that is currently being used.

    Thank you!

    You can use the Web Server Configuration tool. Assuming you are on Windows, the path to start is generally

    Start-online programs-online Adobe-ColdFusion 9 online-online Configuratiol tool for the Web server

    In fact, you can use this tool to add or remove web servers.

    Thanks in advance for the help.

    Kind regards
    Prasad

    Yep, Prasad. But now the error has changed.

    ".... Lack of C:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\oimdomain\config\fmwconfig\*.xldatabasekey *... »

    Please check your $DOMAIN_HOME variable and confirm if it is part of this and if this file above is there. For example: "C:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\oimdomain" I would say that your $DOMAIN_HOME is wrong but please check everything first and let us know.

    If you confirm it's wrong, do it right the first step I told you once again and then properly set them $DOMAIN_HOME.

    Kind regards
    Leoncio Thiago.

  • On which physical server is configured virtual IP address

    DB version: 11.2
    Operating system: AIX/Solaris

    When a problem occurs with a DB of RAC, the end user needs to provide us with the details of the DB connection. That is to say the host name or IP address of physical server (public IP), so that we could connect and start fixing the problem.

    But the end user looks at the tnsnames.ora file and gives us the VIP address found in the tnsnames file. Can't blame them

    I can't find the physical address of the VIP server. I need to know which physical server VIP is configured.
    ping, nslookup, host
    command displays only the IP address of the name of VIP.

    When you have a name of VIP, is anyway that I could determine which server (public IP) that VIP is configured?

    Hi Billy,
    I think that the OP does not know which physical server is the RAC cluster. He does not know the host name or IP address of node1 or Node2. There only the two nodes VIP, which was provided by the end-user (Prod support guy or developer)

    John,
    You should be able to ssh to the vip host name. Tectia using, I just do a SSH using VIP name and I managed to connect to its respective node

  • Server error: Configure 9i with php

    Respected
    I want to configure oracle 9i 9.2.0.1.0 with php on windows xp version. First I tried with apache 2, but it has been clashing with oracle apache so I installed appserv 2.6.0 and given port 81 for the 'localhost:81 '. In this way, I managed to run the simple program php ' hello world ' using 'localhost:81/test/hello.php', but when I run the connected program (check below) it gives * "Web site has encountered an error when retrieving the http://localhost:81/test/test1.php. It is perhaps out of service for maintenance or configured incorrectly. * error HTTP 500 (Internal Server Error): an unexpected condition has occurred while the server attempted to respond to the request.
    I did it due to changes in php.ini and http.conf
    1 kept php.ini in c:\windows
    2. set the doc_root
    3 - extension_dir
    4 - session.save_path = "c:\temp"
    5 uncomment the line extension = php_oci8.dll
    http.conf
    1 - Allowoverride None for all
    2 - Element DirectoryIndex is set with index.php
    3 AddType command for php "AddType application/x-http - php.php ' value
    4 - LoadModule php6_module has been defined with 'LoadModule php6_module C:/AppServ\php\php6apache2_2.dll' Remeber appserv uses php 6 and I couldn't find "php_oracle.dll" in the post of php6

    Program online
    <? PHP
    $conn = oci_connect('scott@orcl','tiger','//localhost:81/orcl');
    {if(!$conn)}
    $m = oci_error ();
    echo $m ['message'], "\n";
    "exit";
    }
    on the other
    {
    print 'connected to oracle. "
    }
    oci_close ($conn);
    ? >

    * 2nd program *.
    <? PHP
    <?
    If ($conn = Ora_Logon ("scott@orcl","tiger")) {}
    echo "< B > SUCCESS! Connected to the database < B > \n";
    }
    on the other
    {
    echo "< B > Failed < B > \n";
    }
    Ora_Logoff ($conn);
    phpinfo();

    Please help me where I'm wrong, I want to run php on the same computer where the database resides.

    1. I haven't looked AppsServ. If it is the same that I Googled, then it looks like an older version of PHP.
    You might consider looking at Zend Server instead.

    2. Yes you need not software customer Oracle if PHP & Oracle DB are on the same machine. But if
    your PHP OCI8 dll built to require a minimum version of Oracle and your DB libraries
    is not equal to or greater than this version, then you will need to (a) get the minimum version of the Oracle
    libraries or (b) recompile PHP yourself.

  • The Windows VM file server storage configuration options

    Hi all

    I have a Setup home of ESXi 3.5 running on an Adaptec 5805 with 3 x Western Digital 1 TB of drives in raid 5.  I plan on a number of virtual machines running on VMFS using virtual disks ranging from 10 to 20 GB.  Most of the storage is for the volume of a windows VM file server storage, somewhere around 1.5 to the mark.  Additional physical disks added to the Adaptec 5805 will be added for file server storage.  At least that's what I want to achieve

    My question is, what is the best option to add the windows VM storage file server because the VMs and storage are all on the same table?

    1. a large VMFS volume, add a virtual as extra storage space 1.5 TB drive to the VM file server and use scopes when you add additional physical disks in the array

    2. a single 300 GB partition on the table in the VMFS datastore for virtual machines, a score of 1.5 TB on the table in the VMFS datastore for storage file server disk.  Use scopes on the 1.5 TB data store when adding additional physical disks

    3. a single 300 GB partition on the table in the data store additional VMFS for VMs. the rest of the dashboard accessible from Raw Device Mapping for the 'normal' when you add storage of file server and extented with methods of expansion array physical disks

    4. something else non of the above makes no sense or it is technically impossible.

    Thank you very much for your time.

    Jon

    Hi Jon "Best" depends on what you want to accomplish, all 3 of your options 'will work '...

    1 & 2 gives you the flexibility to create files VMDK as space and allocation to different virtual machines, if you need to. So for your 1.5 to sample, you can decide you want 500 GB to go to VM1, VM2 250, etc. etc. Option #3 devoted himself primarily to the 1.5 TB on a virtual computer, whatever we have mapped ROW (the ROW will include the entire disk and outside the cluster configurations is only usable by a virtual machine).

    When you create a VMFS partition, you can choose the size of the block that fits your needs. For a 1.5 to drive you choose 8 MB so that you could create a VMDK file as large as the disc if you wanted (8 MB would give you an upper limit of 2 TB).

    Extensions will allow you to spend a single data store by adding disks, however another approach when adding drives is to create additional data store, and then create the VMDK files and link them in virtual machines as necessary (find yourself with "multiple" readers in the virtual machine).
