You see the following message when you open the PDF document in Acrobat Reader for iOS?

If so, you have a special type of form called "dynamic XFA form.

Currently, mobile products of Acrobat Reader (for iOS, Android, Windows Phone) do not support dynamic XFA forms created with Adobe LiveCycle Designer.

The message appears when dynamic content is not supported by a PDF Viewer.  As far as I know, no PDF viewers on iOS supports dynamic XFA forms.

I just ran an update of Windows 8 on my less than a laptop years because the store doesn't work anymore, I ran the 150 + required updates needed windows, I AM THE ONLY USER on this PORTABLE, the device is approved and I'm connected with my Microsoft Account.

Yet I can not update the Windows 8.1 laptop because he always tells me that I need an administrator account.

    My name

    Microsoft user account

    ADMINISTRATOR

    Password protected

What EXACTLY is needed for me to download and upgrade to 8.1 Windows?

    Hello

At the same time uninstall Windows Update KB2871389 and then put it back solves the problem for most people who have tried.

You can uninstall it by going to programs and features and by clicking on "View installed updates" at the top to the left. You will need to scroll the list to find it. Then right-click on it to get the option uninstall.

There was much more updated since then however... It's the initial update that is required for the upgrade from 8.1 to be available in the store...

  • That it is the best way to see what information do not need my computer

Too many files when I go to Windows and are recently; that's nolmal I see this information, want to know if there are programs to clean up my computer and are safe.

    follow these steps:

Shenan Stanley tips: will probably want to clean this machine...

    Search for malware:

Download, install, execute, update and perform analyses complete system with the two following applications:

    ·                                 MalwareBytes (FREE)

    ·                                 SuperAntiSpyware (FREE)

Remove anything they find. Reboot when necessary. (You can uninstall one or both when finished.)

Search online with eSet Online Scanner.

The less you have to run all the time, most things you want to run will perform:

Use Autoruns to understand this all starts when your computer's / when you log in. Look for whatever it is you do not know usingGoogle (or ask here.) You can hopefully figure out if there are things from when your computer does (or connect) you don't not need and then configure them (through their own built-in mechanisms is the preferred method) so they do not - start using your resources without reason.

You can download and use Process Explorer to see exactly what is taking your time processor/CPU and memory. This can help you to identify applications that you might want to consider alternatives for and get rid of all together.

Do a house cleaning and the dust of this hard drive:

You can free up disk space (will also help get rid of the things that you do not use) through the following steps:

You can disable hibernation if it is enabled and you do not...

When you Hibernate your computer, Windows saves the contents of the system memory in the hiberfil.sys file. As a result, the size of the hiberfil.sys file will always be equal to the amount of physical memory in your system. If you don't use the Hibernate feature and want to reclaim the space used by Windows for the hiberfil.sys file, perform the following steps:

-Start the Control Panel Power Options applet (go to start, settings, Control Panel, and then click Power Options).
-Select the Hibernate tab, uncheck "Activate the hibernation", and then click OK. Although you might think otherwise, selecting never under "Hibernate" option on the power management tab does not delete the hiberfil.sys file.
-Windows remove the "Hibernate" option on the power management tab and delete the hiberfil.sys file.

You can control the amount of space your system restore can use...

    1. Click Start, right click my computer and then click Properties.
    2. click on the System Restore tab.
    3. highlight one of your readers (or C: If you only) and click on the button "settings".
4 change the percentage of disk space you want to allow... I suggest moving the slider until you have about 1 GB (1024 MB or close to that...)
    5. click on OK. Then click OK again.

You can control the amount of space used may or may not temporary Internet files...

Empty the temporary Internet files and reduce the size, that it stores a size between 64 MB and 128 MB...

-Open a copy of Microsoft Internet Explorer.
    -Select TOOLS - Internet Options.
-On the general tab in the section 'Temporary Internet files', follow these steps:
-Click on 'Delete the Cookies' (click OK)
-Click on "Settings" and change the "amount of disk space to use: ' something between 64 MB and 128 MB. (There may be many more now.)
    -Click OK.
-Click on 'Delete files', then select "Delete all offline content" (the box), and then click OK. (If you had a LOT, it can take 2 to 10 minutes or more).
-Once it's done, click OK, close Internet Explorer, open Internet Explorer.

  • My laptop always tells me that I am user of 'limited' and I need to log in as an administrator. I am the only user of this computer at home, and I can't find out how this action.

Remember - this is a public forum so never post private information such as numbers of mail or telephone!

    Ideas:

    • You have problems with programs
    • Error messages
    • Recent changes to your computer
    • What you have already tried to solve the problem

If you had only one user account, it originally was an administrator, and he has now suddenly become Standard see methods below. After return you to the system scan for malware because these things happen not magically by themselves. You will need to log on to the built-in Administrator account and make your changes. See the end of this post for the recommended user configuration.

    http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Removing_Malware

1 boot without failure. This, by repeatedly pressing the F8 key as the computer starts. That you will get to the menu on the right where you can use your arrow key to select Mode safe [Enter]. The built-in Administrator account is disabled by default in Vista. However, if no other administrative accounts exist on the system it can be activated. If this is the case, you will see an icon for the administrator on the homescreen mode without failure. Login to the administrator.

2 If you don't see the icon for the administrator mode safe account, then the built-in Administrator account is always disabled so you will need to work more. If you have an installation of Vista DVD (not a recovery DVDs), you can start the system with it. Select the default language, then select "repair your computer". Then select "Command Prompt". At the command prompt, type:

NET user administrator / Active: Yes [Enter]

[Note: do not enter the brackets!]

If you do not have a Vista installation DVD (only have a recovery disk), the computer mftr. may have given you the option to repair Vista (not a system recovery!) system in the diagnostic menu. This menu of diagnosis is the same one where you can choose Safe Mode.  Or you can do a repair file Vista bootable DVD in this link:

    http://NeoSmart.net/blog/2008/Windows-Vista-recovery-disc-download/

Note: All the Neosmart recovery disk downloads are torrent files. There is a good explanation of the torrent on the site Web of Neosmart files. You will need a torrent as muTorrent client to get the files. Torrent client will download the .iso file with which to create the bootable DVD. You will need the third-party burning software such as Nero, Roxio or the free ImgBurn (www.imgburn.com ) to burn the .iso image image file, not in the form of data.

Now remove the rescue CD/DVD, you have done, reboot Windows and log on to the built-in Administrator account, you enabled.

After getting things sorted, login to a different administrative account (see recommendations below) and disable the administrator built-in again for security reasons.

Start Orb > Search box > type: cmd
When cmd appears in the above results, right-click and choose "Run as Administrator" [OK]. Now, you will get the command prompt. At the command prompt, type:

NET user administrator / active: No. [Enter]

    Exit the command prompt.

General recommendations for creating users in Vista:

You absolutely don't want to have only one user account. As XP and all the other modern operating systems, Vista is a multi-user system with integrated system of accounts as default Administrator and comments. These accounts should be left alone because they are part of the structure of the operating system.

In particular, you do not want one account user with administrative privileges on Vista because the administrator account integrated (normally only used in emergencies) is disabled by default. If you use as an administrator for your daily work, and this account is corrupt, things will be difficult.  It is not impossible to activate the built-in administrator to rescue things, but there may be more that you want to do. Better not to put you in a bad situation at first.

The user account that is for your daily work must be a Standard user, with the extra administrative user (call it something like 'CompAdmin' or 'Tech' or similar) only it for elevation purposes. As a user Standard is recommended for security reasons and will help protect your computer against infections. After you have created "CompAdmin", connect to it and change your normal user account Standard. Then log on to your regular account.

If you want to go directly to the desktop and ignore the Welcome screen with the icons of the user accounts, you can do this:

Start Orb > Search box > type: netplwiz [Enter]
Click continue (or provide an administrator password) when you are prompted by UAC

Uncheck "users must enter a user name and password to use this computer". Select a user account to connect automatically by clicking on the account you want to highlight and press OK. Enter the password for this user account (when it exists) when you are prompted. Leave blank if there is no password (null).

  • Where can I find and how to really remove all sensitive security information that I want to get rid of?

I use a couple of computers with XP and Windows 7.  Using the Internet Explorer browser.  I don't want to download another program to clean or to make it safer.  Security programs are touted on the web saying items that are supposedly deleted are always truly accessible.  Where one looks for them and how to get rid of them?

    Examples:

    1. credit card is in a file on your desktop.  Send to trash and then go and delete it.  Is it zapped for good?

2 can secure information sitting somewhere in Internet Explorer?  A purchase online.  All what?

3 remove a file from the yahoo mail bin.  Is it gone forever?

On and so forth!  I'm sure I have just come from a few areas of danger.  Where are you looking at and how do you zap it?

    Thank you.

Thank you.  But I don't want to erase my hard drive.

I did not indicate that you clean your hard drive.  Ah...  I see where, if they did not bother to go beyond the cover/title, might think that...

I gave you options (pointing out you would have to use some third-party utilities and I even reported a utility built into Windows 7) allowed to erase safely files/folders - and encryption of a hard drive not necessarily require wiping your hard drive either.

You can read the web page of the utility of Windows 7 that I linked to...  Often somethings title can be misleading: it is the content of the actual article you want to read.

    Quoting the article:

The command is simply cipher /w x:\folder where you would substitute x:\folder for the location desired, wiped, for example your drive D:\ or in your C:\Users\Mike Halsey\Music folder.

So, as you can see, you could erase safely on a folder on your system - no need to clean the entire disk.

Perhaps, by doing your research for you, I came across something that will make things clearer, even the title is less extreme:

How to use Cipher.exe to overwrite deleted in Windows
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/315672

This is an article over which shows the person who wrote the other article was not only bad to come with descriptive titles, but to make the hypothesis of the tool had simply added the command/w command-line option, was also wrong on how long this particular function of the utility could rely.

It is many more items that I found for you based on the information that I gave you already (Google works wonders) and maybe one of them will better explain the use of the CIPHER command to erase data securely...

I hope that you now understand the suggestion of ENCRYPTION and can be used to do what you want to do (although I'm not positive that it would work better than many small tools third available like eraser to erase the eraser.heidi.ie or portable PortableApps.comversion.)

I would add that Richard g. Harper was not completely far-fetched.  Many places clears their readers like this or with even more damage than that.  I work in a place where the player must actually be melted to slag or he is still considered a security risk.  Some use things like this , or like this...  Although I have taken your question as you were simply eager to erase files on your drive hard work, not the entire disk and all data that it contained so that no one could get it back AFTER you have been made.

    Good luck to you!
