I am trying to reinstall the CS5 desktop w / new OS. Why the process fails?

I have downloaded and run AkamaiDownloadManagerInstaller which downloaded and executed the AkamaiDownloadManagerInstaller.7z and the Photoshop_12_1_LS1.exe. The dialog box indicates an extraction and installation process has been achieved, but after twice the process, no installation was done (no shortcut, nothing in startmentu). I remember well, these are the steps I took when installing CS5 first (before the new installation of the OS). Why this fails now?

TIA,

Jack

I did the installation. First answers to your questions, then the solution:

Q1: Yes... All 150 then updated or completed before this issue.

Q2: I got the DVD with the MB for all the drivers that are already made. Updated video drivers before this problem online.

T3 T4 &: (cf. answer to Q2)

Solution:

Photoshop_12_1_LS1.exe ran without executing the installation, so I opened Photoshop_12_1_LS1.7z with WinRAR and find the Set - up.exe and he ran. First run arrested and reported a pending restart, then I restarted the desktop computer. Second run succeeded to install after I get both the s/n for CS5 and previous version (CS3), given that CS5 is an upgrade. I don't know why the "Photoshop_12_1_LS1.exe" failed to do its job, but I'm releived as the zipped version of "Set - up.exe".

I'm trying to reinstall Dreamweaver CS5 upgrade after that my HDD has been reinstalled. I get an error message that there is nothing on my computer to upgrade. Can anyone help? It seems impossible to begin a conversation with Adobe support.

dw cs5 serial number is a version of upgrade (precedent).  After you have entered your serial number you can select the previous version (in a drop-down list), and then enter the serial number of the previous version.

Enter the version that is appropriate at the right time and proceed with the installation.

The reader is free. There is no such thing as "Acrobat Reader XI". Looks like you have downloaded "Acrobat XI", which is not free...

To return XI Reader you can download it here (DC says the title, but you can choose to download older versions, in this case version 11): Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution

  • tried to reinstall the operating system and it crashed

    Acer One Netbook D257.

Installed to 2 g of RAM (you have to take all this goes to do!) and since then the wireless is uneven right next to the router unless.

So, I thought it would be a pilot. Tried to install the driver from Intel. That didn't fix it.

So I thought I would start fresh by reinstalling the operating system using the Acer tool that backs up the user's data.

Wonder of wonders, it doesn't at all now! System 7 House is caput! He starts up a message saying that Acer could not install the OS!

Suggestions? How can I get a copy of "acer" of win7 to replace on this netbook?

    TIA

Alrighty then, here is the resolution!

Apparently, there is a removable rear on this computer! You must know the 'secret' to open the door!

The 'trick' is to remove the keyboard, and then there are 5 magic screws that release the rear panel.

There are two right under the disk hard corners L & R and then there are three online in the upper part of the hard drive. One of those is to the left of the upper-left corner (probably as he field key 'E'?) Once you do this, dislodging then the back is yet another task. Fortunately for me, I pushed inside to understand. There's "brand" in the plastic that indicate you the five. Just look at the two bottom and you'll see what I mean.

The other thing to know is that the back side of the Panel has hooks that need to go first when back, which means that it is NOT the starting point of prying eyes. The other 3 sides are 'snap' as push so I think that starting with a front corner notches to stop might be the best solution, otherwise you will destroy the hooks.

The problem with dropping the network was the antenna wires that connect to the transmitter. They were loose. They do not have much of a loop service for them so when I raised the mobo to install memory, the first time, they jumped off. The antenna is located around the monitor bezel.

    Now, it works fine.

Why they have not make obvious to repair this unit is a mystery. I guess for $250, it's a deal, but then you get watered to have someone for you install memory.

If all goes well, I saved someone some $ and headaches this announcement.

    Enjoy

  • My Center solution officejet 4500 g510n-z has stopped working. tried to reinstall the software, no luck,

Solution Center says that my device does not complete the installation... This is a new issue. I have been using this printer since the installation of this new. I reinstalled it & no luck. I can print via wireless (test page) & wireless diagnosis says everything is fine. I also tried to use a patch 'add a device' downloaded from HP printer worked very well for 2 other computers on my home network. the test page shows my IP address correctly. I really don't want to go through the hassle of completely uninstall & reinstall. any advise?

Thank you for the follow up to Advisor but the only thing that worked was to completely uninstall the printer software and do a fresh install.  Now my HP Solution Center opens, the printer prints very well. BTW, I tried to install the DOWNLOAD & that didn't work, either. I had a window of solution that made me walk through many steps & still not managed to exploit the property. anyone else having this problem, should just uninstall & reinstall, I guess.

  • Code 39 - video card driver. already tried to reinstall the drivers several times.

Suddenly, I lived this issue one day after having had a normal life with a new video card.  It was quite well until you restart the next day, where he then reports in Manager device which:

Windows cannot load the driver for this hardware device. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)

I am completely puzzled, as I have:

-If she had problems with drivers-free work provided by the CD the initial day of the installation,
    -A tried several installations of:
    (a) CD drivers provided by.
    (b) latest driver from nVidia.
    (c) later twist driver Xtreme-G.
    (d) to allow Windows Update to install the drivers.
-Also attempted to return to the old video card and using [compatible] drivers for it, but it returned code 39; This video card, I had no such problems with in the past.

The first noticeable symptom has been toggled off Aero and the resolution to 640.  I am unable to run several games/etc. as the video card is automatically disabled "because he has a problem.  My graphics card is an ASUS 240 512 DDR5 ENGT, and the old one is eVGA 9400 GT; my OS is Windows 7 x 64.   The first time using the map with this computer, it was compared with the time 3D games Vantage / real and proved to be stable and functional order.

I can't do a restore with the drivers, or have no system restore points.  Everything is fine and I can still watch videos (assuming that the CPU is handling); I can also run games like Starcraft, which I suppose doesn't require DirectX or anything that requires a dedicated card.

I tried the sweeper driver as well as the General uninstaller, and he still refuses to acknowledge the drivers - this was done after a full withdrawal of all components of nVidia ("NVIDIA Drivers", PhysX and NVIDIA Control Panel); However, I saw again the nVidia control panel in the Panel of the menu start (no uninstall programs and features). my steps were:

    (1) Uninstall using programs uninstall,
    (2) secure using mode driver sweeper,
    3) reset, once again in SafeMode to aid driver sweeper,
    (4) restart, install the drivers.

Of this, I was successfully able to disable the generic automatic installation of drivers window; later, I was able to install the video drivers.  However it still does not.  The Control Panel also continues to say, "Now you do not use a screen attached to a NVIDIA GPU", and Device Manager reports code 39.

I'm running out of ideas, so I'm looking for outside help for this problem - I appreciate any information you may be able to provide.

Check the programs and features (and memory), I can say that I have nothing else that the drivers installed for the new video card.

I reinstalled the drivers for the 9400GT when I was testing to see if the replaced card would fail, and he gave the code 39.

    Thanks for your comments.

EDIT: The problem seems to be fixed after a reinstall of Windows.  I give my thanks to both of you for the effort.
