    BTW, the swap of the platform is for the current version of the Adobe software, if you have older version then you will need to get cross-platform update.

    First of all, this isn't Adobe.  This is a user to user forum.  We are customers like you, with the exception of a few employees from Adobe that are similar to.

    Second, Adobe doesn't support a change of platform (operating system) for current software versions, although you can switch to another platform:

    If you have recently purchased the perpetual license of Photoshop for Windows, then you can contact Adobe customer service.

    And then team will provide you with a new serial number for MAC and cancel the one for Windows.

    Or if it's the creative cloud, then you can install it on the Mac, as the members of Cloud are allowed to install Applications on 2 computers.
